Let me get the "bad" out of the way first, and note this is still a five-star review. You drive up a gravel country road to a small building that houses the tasting room. It's the smallest tasting room I've ever been in, and very simply decorated: a few beautifully framed pieces from the farm's history, some antique tools, and that's about it. This isn't going to be your upscale winery experience. If you're looking for Napa or Bordeaux vibes, you're in the wrong place. The single guy behind the counter turned out to be the owner. He mentioned that his wife usually runs the tastings, but she was on vacation. He was fantastic, fun to talk with, knowledgeable from both a production angle and a "yes, I actually drink these wines" perspective, which is surprisingly rare. He even spoke warmly about nearby wineries, treating them as colleagues rather than competitors. It's always refreshing to meet a winemaker who genuinely enjoys other people's wine. As for the wines: we tried all twelve. A couple were still young and could use a few years in the bottle, but they showed a lot of promise. I didn't care for the Muscat, but most of the others were excellent, and I had a hard time choosing which bottles to take home. Be sure to try the "Trop Elyts"; it's fantastic, and kind of port like. I'm not usually a rosé fan, but their take on it was so unique I bought a bottle of that, too. The farm itself dates back to the 1700s. George Washington probably slept there (he slept everywhere). It's full of character and history, and well worth the stop

There is not strong AC anywhere there. The indoor seating is very small and feels like you're in someone's grandma's living room. Tastings are done in a flight with plastic cups, not one at a time in a glass. We did enjoy the wines and eventually enjoyed talking to the one employee who was there, but it was a rough start. When we entered the tasting room we were the only people there except for one other man. We had to initiate conversation with him to determine if we were in the right place and if we could get a tasting. It was confusing and we didn't feel clear about what to do or welcomed. I did enjoy the Rich Forest Chard, the Rose blend, and the Hogshead Red. It was interesting to learn about the residual sugars and how their rose is different. There is a cemetery on the premises which was an interesting choice.

They also host different food trucks. When we arrived, we were really not sure where to go. There is no defined driveway or parking and there quite a few cars. My brother said they had parked in front but we should probably park in the back because it was getting busy. He said they were seated under the old greenhouse near the back. We parked and started walking to the greenhouse. This did not even look like an event space, there was really no guidance or direction of what to do. The greenhouse had most of the walls removed and there was a food truck parked near one side of it. We found them near the back of greenhouse at a table. Next to the greenhouse were some pop up canopies. People were seated all over the place on random tables and chairs. I don't think any of the four chairs at our table matched. We also saw some people carrying their own chairs. After our greeting, my wife and I wanted to get a drink and they told us to go up to wine shop where we could pay the cover charge to get the wristband and get drinks.  We found a door on the back of the building and walked in. The inside was kind of random. I saw antlers on the floor, a small scale covered wagon and other random stuff. There was a counter where you could see that people were ordering drinks and we got in line. We paid our cover, got our drinks and headed out to check out the food truck. They have wine, a few different beers and boxtails (cocktail in a box). After getting our food, we joined my brother and his fiancé at their table. A band started playing classic rock music and continued off and on during the evening while people danced and sung along. The place was packed, had food and good drinks. This is a very casual place almost like it was just thrown together. You need to check it out at least once.  They do not have bathrooms and only offer portable toilets. Overall it was a good experience and definitely different.

Let me first add the context that I don't really identify as a wine drinker, but will still occasionally visit vineyards because I think the experience is nice. 61 vineyard was a cool spot for sure. They have a nice open location with tons of space (I think they said around 40 acres) and they've been expanding their main location for the four years that they've been open. They have a main tasting room, an expansion seating room, and an outdoor patio area that are all well maintained and great for parties of all sizes. I partook in the wine tasting which was very good and the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to (which I find often makes or breaks wine tasting experiences) The wine itself does seem on the pricier end for what I'm used to where I think the average bottle here goes for over $20. But there are also member and subscription types of services to take advantage of discounts. I'm not entirely sure if they have relationships with food vendors, but they didn't have many food option in the main location itself when we were there. The food options that I saw were prepackaged charcuterie packs, so I would keep that in mind for your visit. All in all a very nice winery spot and would recommend even if wine isn't typically your drink of choice.

They have a great view, string lights, indoor and outdoor seating, and a brewery close by. They have been around 4 years and are slowly revamping an old dairy farm into this winery. I loved that you could build your own flight. I enjoyed my tasting. I loved that she let us try everything, even though the tasting was set for 5 wines. I'm not sure how tastings would work when they are more busy. We went at opening on a Friday, so we could sit at the bar and hear about all the wines. There were so many good wines, but the Albariño really stood out as crisp and fresh and different.
