Recommend rocking up early, because even on an unsuspecting Tuesday night, it got packed-every single table.
Once a different restaurant, different name- but they haven't done anything different with the structure but they have different decor feels. Immediately fell in love with their heavy glazed pottery tableware. Absolutely adore thick walled clayware and especially in their beautiful blood red, turquoise green, off-white colours and the coolest spoon/chopsticks rest alongside their black bowls and cups. Very old school Asian feels. Great display of other pottery on black cubed shelves and other traditional bits and bobs around that are fun to look at.
Extensive menu with set menus and dishes to suit everyone. Got their squid stirfry- sauce was a lot more spicy than I thought but still yum. They funnily don't make it in the other sweet soy sauce options because it wasn't ever ordered by their usual patrons! Affordable prices and decent portions. And the best spread of side dishes alongside each order and separate as well. We were lucky to get their lazy susan and the whole spinning top was covered with all these little delightful bites.
