Jami was awesome at helping us get our house sold. This is the 2nd time we had Jami to sell our 2nd property. He has good local knowledge, and communicates well. He helped us find the right people to get the house fixed up and the house was under contract just a few days after listing!! He was excellent at protecting our interests during the entire process. I will recommend him to anyone I know when buying or selling property. read more

Jami is the real deal. We are second time home buyers and we wish we had Jami with us when we bought our first home! Jami is very professional, punctual, informative, patient, and so very accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better realtor really. From the beginning, he walked us through the process of home-buying because Lord knows our first experience was the best (I'll leave it at that). He took the time to answer all our questions and even late at night when we would email him questions, we would get a response by the next day! All the way to when we found our dream home, Jami helped us with strategies on how our offer would look the best out of everyone. Sure enough we got our house without going over our budget. As for selling our house, listen to him! We were able to get 2 solid offers and 1 interest the day after we put our house up for sale. Within less than two days, we were able to accept a solid offer (above our asking price) and we didn't even have to do an open house! I can't say enough how lucky we were to find Jami! We will recommend him to anyone who asks and will definitely use him for when our parents decide to buy houses. read more

Jami assisted us in a sale and purchase of a home. He also assisted us years back when purchasing a home as well. Jami is a consummate professional helping us throughout the whole process and ensuring we were comfortable during the engagement. I will readily admit that I can be a bit indecisive when making these life changing decisions, but Jami's patience and guidance made my wife and I feel at ease, not pressured to make a choice before we were ready. Utilizing his personal experience, Jami helped us looked at cost benefit of a fixer upper vs turnkey, giving approximate costs to fix various aspects of homes we were looking at. I would absolutely recommend Jami to anyone looking for an experienced, honest, and genuinely fun guy (your going to being spending a lot of weekends with him) and plan to use him for any future moves. read more

Jami was wonderful to work with for my first homebuying experience! Totally deserving of 5 stars. He was reliable, calm, easily reachable, AND he took extra time to explain everything to me. There was a complicated situation with the bank and he did an excellent job coordinating and making sure everything was correct. I would recommend him without reservation. read more

I interviewed 5 realtors before I decided to work with Jami. Jami was honest, responsive and very knowledgeable in guiding me through selling my current townhouse and buying another home. He gave me several options in getting my current townhouse ready to sell and I'm glad I followed his advice as I was able to list the home and receive 2 offers within a day and get under contract above asking price. As I was looking for a single family house to buy, he looked out for things that I wasn't aware of and pointed out potential expensive repairs that may come up with certain homes we toured and also provided me recommendations on how to change certain features of the home to get it to what I wanted in the house. When putting an offer in the house, he also proved valuable helping me be strategic in how to structure the offer and walked me through inspection and closing process. Jami was always responsive and would answer my emails, texts or phone calls anytime I had questions during the 3 months I worked with him and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a house. read more

Jami is the best! As first-time home buyers, we didn't know anything coming into the crazy pandemic market and he went above and beyond helping us find our house. Jami is very knowledgable and pointed out everything that we should pay attention to and consider. He was thorough, patient, and connected us to all the right people. He always responded quickly and he spent many late nights going over offer details and answering all of our questions. We would highly recommend working with Jami! read more

Great experience working with Jami Dennis! I highly recommend him as a realtor for both buying and selling. We bought our first home with him 10 years ago and just sold that home this past November. He sold it in 1 week! We just bought our second home with him and he recommended a bank that was able to get us a quick close that we really needed. Jami's experience, knowledge, recommendations, advice, and patience are truly amazing. He knows his stuff and cares about his clients! read more

Summarizing how fantastic Jami has been helping us find out the house we really wanted is hard and I am sure I will not include all his characteristics that make him one of the best agents in the area. Our home search lasted over 7 months and we saw countless homes in the process. Jami was always there to help us. He was very patient with us and he never "pushed" us towards any property. He was always the first to call properties overpriced if he assessed them as overpriced. He was always quick to identify and point out potential issues with properties. He is every experienced identifying potential problems and offering solution ideas and risk mitigating strategies. He tirelessly searched for properties that fit our desires and always analyzed comps and neighborhoods when we were interested in putting offers. Speaking of offers, he put 4 offers for us in the process and he protected our interests all the way. His negotiating skills helped us get the house we liked the most in Bethesda. Even after the closing Jami was there for us helping out dealing with contractors when our work schedule didn't allow to do it ourselves. He really goes out of his way to make sure that his clients have a seamless transition and can settle into their new homes with peace. Summarizing, Jami is the most professional agent I have ever worked with and the only one I will be working in the future. I cannot recommend him enough. Hati & Ilias read more

Jami made EVERYTHING about being a first time home buyer easy and unintimidating. From the moment I met him, I knew he was the one I could trust with this big, crazy process. Jami has a very approachable personality, is easy to talk to, explained everything in terms I understood, and was never pushy or impatient. He was usually available to look at houses with me and my husband within 24 hours. He is also very knowledgable about home repairs and costs which was such a blessing because he saw things within 2 minutes that we might not have noticed until we had to pay big bucks to fix. He is excellent at helping you dodge bullets:) There are so many moving parts when it comes to buying a house: loans, realtors, inspectors, etc., and every step was new to us. Every time we took Jami's advice on who to talk to about these things, we won. Because of Jami, we found an excellent inspector, title insurance company, and mortgage company. Jami is honest and has integrety to spare, and the people he recommended to us were no exception. We would recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home (we already have!), whether it was their 1st or 10th time. And if the day comes that we ever have to buy again or sell, we will be calling Jami first. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and if you read through the reviews here, you can believe every nice thing anyone has said about him. read more

Jami is a very considerate and professional agent. As first time home buyers we put our full trust in him to guide us through the process. His calm demeanor was a plus during times of indecision and unproductive home searches. His background in construction was a benefit to us when learning about the level of effort and cost certain home improvements would involve during our searches. Working together to find listings to visit, we were able to find a great first home in a convenient and desirable location. The process of buying the house couldn't have been easier. Jami kept us on track and provided very useful suggestions along the way. At closing even the sellers agents commented that it was a pleasure to work with him. We would recommend Jami to anyone who is proactive and looking for an agent who isn't pushy and allows them to operate at their own pace while still keeping them on track. read more

Jami Dennis made selling my house in Virginia completely painless, especially considering I live in Ohio! My house was on the market only 4 days before it sold last May. Jami was so knowledgeable and proactive during the entire process, when it came time to close, there were no bumps in road. He is a complete professional - responsive and forward-thinking - I would highly recommend his services to anyone! read more

If you are looking for an extremely knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, no-pressure realtor, then Jami is your man. I am sure there are other great realtors out there, but Jami has to be one of the best. I'll start by saying that Jami saved me from a potentially devastating condo assessment situation on the first condo I wanted. I was under contract and shortly before closing, a report was disclosed outlining many issues with the new condo building that had to be taken care of and could have resulted in a big condo assessment fee. This report was buried in a stack of paperwork and had Jami not been so detail oriented, it may have been overlooked. Other less-honest realtors who saw the same information may have told their clients that it's not a big problem and to move forward just so they could make their commission, but Jami is always looking out for his clients' best interests and told me immediately that I should highly consider backing out of the contract (which I did). He is truly on your team, almost as if he's buying the place himself. As a first time buyer, I had no idea what I was doing, but Jami walked me through the entire process from start to finish, answering every question I had at all hours of the night. It is difficult to come up with a question that Jami cannot answer on the spot - and if you can, he will research it and send you the answer within the next 24 hours, often in the next few hours. I always felt confident that Jami was giving me the correct answers, whether it was about the value of a condo, the type of flooring, or the condo finances. I realized at a few open houses that not all realtors are as knowledgeable as Jami, and in some cases gave incorrect information to their clients (because I already knew Jami gave me the correct answer). I often thought that I must be driving Jami crazy, frequently asking him to drive to VA from MD to show me condos during rush hour. I can't even count how many places I saw it was so many (I once saw 12 on one Saturday, just to give you an idea). Jami was always patient and never seemed frustrated with me, even though I know that commute is a bad one. He is almost always available when you need him, and worked around my crazy schedule. I could give many more examples of why you should hire Jami, but hopefully you're already bored of reading this and are convinced. He was recommended to me by a friend who used him and now I've recommended him to a couple of my friends because I truly think he's one of the best! read more

Jami is a top-notch realtor who is very competent, kind and customer-oriented. Great communication. Punctual. He was my buyer's agent in purchasing a new construction home as a first time home buyer. It took about 9 months from the date of purchase to settlement, and Jami was there in every step of the way. He is a very patient man, but is also able to drop the hammer on the party that acts against his client's interest, if need be. We ran into multiple issues during the 9-month period and Jami always acted in our best interest. When I panicked, Jami made me feel comfortable and led me in the right direction. After we had a pre-settlement walk through demonstration, he suggested postponing the settlement because the home had a few major issues, even though we all knew he would get paid upon settlement. He just proved to me in many ways that he acts in the best interest of his clients, not his or anyone else. We finally settled last week and I'm happy to have worked with Jami. If I need to sell or buy a home again, Jami will be the man again. read more

Jami went above and beyond what we expected. He is and excellent realtor and very knowledgeable. We told him what we were looking for and he showed us only houses he knew we would be interested in. He even took video of house to show us when we were not able to physically go see them. He was in constant communication with us and made us feel like we were his most important clients. read more

I have worked with Jami. My wife has worked with Jami. Three of my friends have worked with Jami. We will continue to work with Jami. I used to be a loan officer. I worked with numerous realtors. Some were near retirement and focused on putting clients in ANY home, so long as it earned their commissions. Some would advise selling clients to sell to the first potential buyer despite potential financial risks embedded in those buyers' financial profiles. Jami is not one of those realtors. Jami is in the upper echelon of realtors that I worked with. He's the best in that elite group. When we first moved to Ohio, Jami helped my wife sell her condo in Ashburn, VA. He connected her to a contractor who performed several small improvements that brought out the life in her property. She had a ratified contract after the first weekend of showings. The process was painless, and Jami kept her on track with all of the documents she needed to sign or provide all the way through closing. He was the consummate professional. Jami helped three of my friends purchase their first homes. He took his time to take them out to open houses or perform private showings. He was available any time of day to meet them for home/pest inspections or answer questions. For each of those purchase transactions, Jami went above and beyond. He even spent a few weeks after helping my friend construct a wheel chair ramp for his mom, after he helped his mom purchase a home. These aren't things that other realtors do. Most recently, Jami helped me sell my first home, which was located in Maryland as I now live in Ohio. I obviously wasn't available to meet contractors, appraisers, inspectors, or to perform any type of last-minute maintenance. Jami did all of these things as if he was selling his own home. I felt good that I was able to sell my home to a first-time home buyer. The buyer's lender had several delays along the way (which Jami warned me could happen because of the reputation of that lender), but he did his research and assured me that this lender still makes it to the finish line. I felt comfortable that one way or another, he was going to make this deal happen. The lender was 17 days late to provide the "clear to close" on the loan, but Jami negotiated penalties into the extensions that made me whole for buyer-initiated delays. I didn't lose a penny because of the buyer delays. On the day of closing, Jami drove to the settlement even though I had signed my disclosures in advance. He wanted to make sure the buyers made it to the finish line and that I received my funds from settlement. It's difficult to describe all of the stresses that come with buying or selling a home. Lender requests are mounting as regulatory burden increases. HOAs can be slow to provide documentation. The other party to the transaction could delay closing. Whichever side of the transaction you are on, Jami goes to bat for you. I don't recommend multiple realtors to my friends and family. I recommend one person. It's not because I don't know other agents that could get the job done. Other agents don't do all of the work that Jami does. read more

You won't regret working with Jami. He sets a high bar! He is a smart, active listener, and is dedicated to what you want. We used him to sell our old house in one county and buy a new house in another county. He has a calm demeanor and is not pushy - there was never any pressure regarding time to make decisions. For selling, he provided gorgeous photos and a floorplan layout which made the listing stand out. He also offered advice to market the house. For buying our new home, having Jami's background in construction was an asset. He could identify potential problems, discuss quality, and estimate costs of additions, repairs, or upgrades already completed or to help us consider what it would cost to customize a home after the sale. Jami was also completely adaptable to buying and selling during covid. I won't forget the Superman lengths Jami Dennis went through to keep us happy. read more

Jami is an amazing realtor who exceeded our expectations in every way. He has a construction background so he is able to quicky pick out issues and understand whether it's minor inexpensive project or a significant repair. My wife and I found a home we wanted to purchase 3 weeks ago. We came across the property on Trulia and contacted Jami, who was listed as an agent on the website. I contacted Jami and he was very quick to reply and set up a time to see the property. Once we saw the property and knew we were interested to proceed, Jami set up some time to meet with us, and gave us advice on the whole home buying process. We needed all the help we could get as my wife and I are both first time home buyers. Jami really knows his business, and helped us each step of the way, clarifying many of our questions and concerns. Jami also gave us excellent contacts for a lender and home inspector. Jami was always quick to reply and provide helpful information. The process of signing paperwork and putting forth our offer was also seamless and painless as Jami had us sign everything electronically. Being that my wife and I had already found the home we wanted, and were ready to close very soon, meeting Jami was perfect because the whole process went ultrafast. Jami made things easy, answered all of our questions, provided great contacts and helpful information, and allowed us to settle as quickly as we did. Roughly 3 weeks after seeing the home, my wife and I have now settled on the property, and have the keys. My wife and I highly recommend Jami. Jami prioritizes his clients and makes himself consistently available at all times of the day. He really possesses a deep knowledge and comprehension of all the little details of this business, has some great contacts that also helped greatly with the home purchase process, and is an extremely responsive and honest agent. read more
