History
Established in 1985.
Beginning as early as 1985, the Walberg family has had roots in the pharmacy business. Bretton's parents owned and operated both Jamestown Pharmacy and Reynolds Pharmacy during Bretton's childhood.
Growing up, Bretton was immersed in the daily operations of the pharmacy business. He helped stock shelves, checkout customers and offered a helping hand to everyone that came through the door. From there, his love for this customer care field evolved.
In 1999, Bretton and Stacey purchased their first pharmacy, Jamestown Pharmacy, from Bretton's parents. Two years later, the purchased Herbert's Pharmacy in Andover, Ohio.
The opportunity to bring Reynolds Pharmacy back into the Walberg family name evolved in 2006, followed by Sharon Pharmacy, New Castle Pharmacy, Petrolia Pharmacy, Mercer Pharmacy, Altoona Pharmacy, Clarion Pharmacy and Linesville Pharmacy.
Meet the Business Owner: Bretton W.
Upon graduation from Greenville High School, Mr. Walberg attended Grove City College and later, Ohio Northern University. In college, he was a member of several honorary associations. In 1998, he graduated from Ohio Northern University with high honors and two degrees - a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the Rudolph H. Raabe College of Pharmacy.
These dual degrees provided him the opportunity to return to his hometown of Greenville, PA, where he grew up in his parents' pharmacy business. He and his wife, Stacey, purchased their first independent pharmacy, Jamestown Pharmacy, from his parents in 1999. Currently, Mr. Walberg and his wife own and operate eleven independent pharmacies serving 13 counties in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Each of their pharmacies were named for the individual community they serve.
