I decided, for the 6th time (to my wife's annoyance), to rearrange our living room. This time I…read morefinally succeeded with something we both liked. This left a large area between our fireplace and side wall, which was plenty of space for her to work on her dance routines and teach our daughter ballet. We decided the best use of the blank wall would be to put a large mirror on it and turn the space into a personal, convertible dance studio. I took some measurements, a couple of photos, and emailed them to GlassWorks's general email address. It was a Sunday, and John called back 15 minutes later with a total, including install. (My measurements and photos were pretty detailed, so I doubted the price would change in the end). My wife and I debated about actually moving forward with the project and finally called John back a couple of weeks later. He came over the next day to take a quick look, measure it himself, and confirm the pricing was solid. I called back the next day to pay the deposit and wait to schedule another measurement and marking by his install team. It took a little while to actually get those guys out here because they seem to be pretty busy. It was about 2 weeks before they actually came out. The guys who came out, Carlos and Jesus, were extremely nice and professional. You could tell they really took their time to make sure everything was measured correctly and in the right spot (nothing in our condo actually lines up or is centered). They left the tape on the wall to mark center in case different installers came out to do it. It took another couple of weeks for the shop to fabricate the mirrors with cutouts for our outlets, then the install was scheduled. Carlos and Jesus came back out to install it. There was a little imperfection on the center edge of one of the mirrors. Carols pointed it out to me and it took a minute for me to actually see what he was talking about. Whether or not I saw it didn't matter, because they were already taking the steps to correct it. All in all, the process took about 4 weeks from John coming out, to having the mirrors installed. The time frame took a little longer than I expected, but that's what happens when you work with a company that is consistently busy. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous, from Sandy who answers the phones to Rammell who schedules the crew, it was great working with the GlassWorks team. I highly recommend them.

I say appear on the first claim because the grout they used is not holding and I have areas in the floor that a couple of months the grout is cracking and coming out. On the second repair - it has been almost a year and after providing a 50% down payment the work has still not been completed. The workers cut corners and wanted to charge me additional for painting rooms that were included in the claim. They left a majority of my furniture in the garage and wall fixture's off. When the baseboard was broken and asked to be replaced they tried to fix it instead of filing a supplemental claim with the insurance company. When I no longer could afford time away from work and asked to correct the issues from the first claim (grout) I was ghosted. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you are paying out of pocket and are ok with shortcuts!!!
