Jameson is damn good coffee. And it's roasted locally, which is a big plus for me.

There are 80 parking places and room for about 75 patrons to sit at tables. Soft music. Games you can play. Kids like it.

I can see this being a highly rated coffee shop on its own, but having been to one of the other…read morelocations, I think this Mad Goat location will be one that I won't be frequenting often. The main reason is the general location. I am not a resident of Danville, so I am not in Northern Danville ever. Instead, I travel along Highway 74 quite a bit so not only is this location a bit out of the way, there is a bigger and more accessible location right off said highway. Another difference is the general size of this Mad Goat location. Compared to the one on South Gilbert St, this one is part of a strip mall and is a much smaller, intimate space. It serves the purpose of being a nice place to pull out your laptop to do work, but I would much rather get the ambiance and vibe of the other location in Danville. Additionally, I feel the South Gilbert location is more upkept and cleaner than this location. If you are passing through, I would suggest visiting the other location, as it is definitely more glamorous and accessible. Moving away from the physical traits of this coffee shop, everything that they serve here is the same as the other locations. Their drinks still rock and I would recommend the usual London Fog, Matcha drinks, smoothies, etc. I've even ordered an acai bowl here and it was very refreshing. You won't go wrong with this location, I just think the other one on the South side of town has this one beat!

This is as a cute shop, and I loved that they are open early. When you walk in they have a lot of…read morerandom gift items, as well as a wide variety of games. They make cake donuts, and you can pick what kind of icing and topping. They come out warm, and I tried the cinnamon sugar ones because that is such a classic and delicious combination. They were good, but could have been a little warmer. I also had the bagel with cream cheese, avocado and bacon. They have lots of coffee options and I went with a vanilla latte. Overall they had some tasty treats and everything was priced well!

ALL of the staff members were so friendly and helpful with us trying to decide what craft we wanted to do. We ultimately all chose to paint and got to take our time- we were there for hours, but never felt rushed. They assisted us multiple times with finding paint colors or making ones that were a blend of multiple colors. You can also do candle making (which other people did while we were there), macrame, faux succulent planters, make your own water bottle, etc. I chose a mushroom planter and it turned out so cute! I put one of my pothos in it and it fit perfectly and now sits on one of my bookshelves. Two of my cousins chose to do different face/bust vases, my third cousin chose to do a travel coffee cup, and my aunt chose to do a trinket dish. All of their pieces turned out beautifully as well, but I didn't snap photos of those after they got them back. My aunt picked up my piece when she went back to get all of theirs and then I got it from her the next time I saw them, but you can also have it shipped to you if you don't live close by. The inside has a big shop area with decor, ornaments, etc and then there is a cafe in the back for coffee, tea, sodas, and little treats. If I didn't live an hour away, then I would be here every weekend lol Percy, the shop dog, was so sweet and was napping up by the register when we came in. My cousins are obsessed with him, so they even got a photo with him before we left. A true diva.
