My BF cracked his tooth, so on a recommendation of someone we know we called Dr. Keck's office and made an appointment. They were able to schedule an emergency appointment within 2 days.
The BF got called to a job out of town last minute by his boss and had to reschedule his appointment to tomorrow. I called the office as soon as we found out to reschedule and the receptionist started telling me how they have other appointments and how we should've called ahead of time. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
1.No one needs to explain to a dentist office receptionist why they have to cancel/reschedule!
2. If we need to reschedule an attitude is NOT necessary. You can either reschedule or not.
I started to explain that the BF starts work @ 4:30am to go to a site then got called to go to a site in another town and the receptionist cut me off before I could explain the later part and said that we should've called the office at 4:30am.
I told her I did not appreciate her attitude problem and I called as soon as I found out to reschedule and apologized if that upset or offended her, but that all of her other comments were completely unnecessary and all she had to do was tell me if she could reschedule me or not.
I'm pretty sure she does not get paid to give her opinions, but rather to make appointments and handle the administrative side of things.
If this is who runs the office and interfaces with the public I question the actual work that gets done her. Based on this experience we have decided not to go here nor would we recommend have interactions with this office. read more
