Was taken care by Kathy ( or Cathy sp?), she was wonderful. She educated me throughout the process of the appointment , with great examples of pathophysiology, pathology and care maintenance to improve whatever findings. I did not feel like I was with an archeologist or water boarded with so much rinsing. Her techniques were fantastic and she is very patient centered. It was painless, she is amazing in her clinical skills and would recommend her to everyone. read more

I've been going to Dr. Tran for a number of years seeing the same dental hygienist for all that time I was told of a new hygienist named Sandy. Though no one ever looks forward to a dental appointment. I was looking forward to a new dental hygienist. Sandy was very professional. She was very good and she did a great job. Thank you Dr. Tran for keeping up your standards and having great dental hygienist. read more

I'm a physician and I have to say, Dr. Tran and his office staff are the most amazing team of professionals around! My friend had a toothache that rapidly accelerated to an emergency situation on a Sunday night. I called Dr. Tran's office and left a message explaining the situation. I wasn't expecting they would be able to get my friend in for a few days. But, we received a call first thing when the office opened asking offering an appointment that morning. We were so happy! They took excellent care of my friend, were kind and compassionate, and even arranged for a needed visit to a nearby oral surgeon (they called and set everything up) when it was determined an extraction was needed. I have lived in and practiced medicine in the TO area for decades. I know the medical and dental community well. There is no one that compares to Dr. Tran. He has my highest recommendation. read more

Excellent experience. Dr. Tran was great and his team are very professional and kind!

Loved the office and the staff. Very clean and modern and everyone was so helpful. I had a stroke about 4 months ago and am dependent on a cane and my right side is still numb, they were very accommodating and sweet as could be. Would definitely recommend and will be back for my cleaning. read more

If your ready to enter the twilight zone & find some fossils! GO TO TRAN. The translation of Tran means: (exhibit, display, old, ancient) Not only is it the most outdated office I have experienced in my life, after my experience directly with Tran I felt I had one leg in the grave ! Aside from the OBVIOUS and Trans lack of modern technology I thought to look beyond the creepiness of the environment, ignore my intuition & give it a chance. I had a filling & a crown done by Tran. #13 & #14 Its a good idea by the way TO KNOW which tooth is which. My mom always said everything starts with your teeth, & did i learn this the hard way. YOU get an infection in your tooth that infection if not TREATED can lead TO YOUR BLOOD STREAM & cause SERIOUS DAMAGE, including DEATH. NOT knowing it was tooth #13 causing me pain I called Tran after having the filling and the crown (over an implant) his exact words "its probably just the nerve it will settle down, give it a few days". THIS TOOTH BECAME SERIOUSLY INFECTED Deteriorating my BONE and effecting MY existing teeth !!! THE LACK of care By TRAN lead to this. UNLESS YOU have a DEATH wish or want to step into a time machine. DO NOT GO TO TRAN'S OFFICE I am so sad and devastated by result of my experience I AM still recovering, THIS HAS BEEN a TOTAL NIGHTMARE with irreparable damage and and ongoing appts & pain FACTS: It's not so much that you'll die of pain, of course, but dentists and research confirm that an untreated tooth infection may infect other parts of the body, either through the bones or the bloodstream. Most people won't die from a toothache, but it's a condition that if left untreated can lead to the worst: a fatal result. read more

Have been seeing Dr Tran for 8 years; he is an exceptional, conscientious dentist. Highly competent with.great communication skills. He has provided me with options and predictions (e.g. risk/benefit of crown vs. implant, his best guess how long crown will last). In those situations, the actual longevity of the crowns has exceeded his predictions. read more

I highly recommend Dr. James Tran. I had a chipped crown and wanted it evaluated. Luckily he could fit me into his busy schedule. The office is Covid compliant. The staff are efficient. I have only been a patient since 2019. Dr. Tran explains everything thoroughly. read more

When things go bad, you want the BEST! My amazing dentist and friend of 30 years was retiring and I was lost. 3 evaluations ( 5 extractions, root canal and implants- YIKES!! ) from top Beverly Hills dentists did not give me the same confidence I had had for years. Dr. Tran did. I could not be happier with his professional care. read more

Switched to Dr. Tran after a bad experience with another dentist. We are happy we did. He and his staff are friendly and thorough. I don't ever feel pressured in to having things done that are not necessary, which was a huge part of why we decided to see Dr. Tran. Their new office is clean and inviting. If you are looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Tran. read more

Dr. Tran is professional, reliable, and proficient. I have been a patient since he took over the practice, and my teeth are doing well. On one occasion, I had a routine cleaning, and he ended up filling a small cavity on the spot. He replaced my crown when it broke, and was very accommodating when I had some type of reaction to the medicine. The staff has always been wonderful; I actually know some of them from the time when it was Dr. Hendrickson's practice. When my kids were small, they let me bring them because I couldn't get a babysitter. They always ask about my family, and they are great about confirming appointments. If you're looking for a reliable dentist with great staff, check out this practice. read more

Clean and nice people! Kathy always does a great job.

Dr. Tran and his staff are seriously the best. I just had my teeth cleaned by Kathy. I'm not the best when I'm in the chair. The cleaning doesn't hurt but I probably scare her with the faces I make. The best is she makes you feel so comfortable as all the staff and Dr. Tran do. Thank you all! Debbie read more

Deep root cleaning took 1 hour on lower quadrant. Excellent procedure no soreness or pain experienced later.

Dr Tran is Knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. He runs a clean, well organized office with great staff. I've been going to him for years and plan on continuing so despite the long distance from my home. read more

Let's be honest. Nobody really wants to go to the dentist. But when you have to go, Dr. Tran is the best! I had one tooth that was darker than the others, which completely stood out because of my otherwise perfect smile and boyish good looks. I required a root canal and internal bleaching. I'm not sure how he did it but the root canal didn't hurt! He is either really good or I am manlier than I thought. We bleached it 3 times before I was able to get the tooth looking like its counterparts. Dr. Tran was knowledgeable and understanding throughout the entire process. His attention to detail was much appreciated. Expert tip: He also has a wall of pet pictures. read more

I came to dr tran when a friend referred me after a mishap happened at my former dentist with a root canal and I wasn't happy with how the situation was handled. I am so glad I decided to come to dr. His front desk was also very accommodating with my schedule. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a new dentist. read more

I always have a thorough cleaning from Kathy and have been going to her for years. She always takes her time and answers all of my questions and offers suggestions. She is very knowledgeable and I always leave clean and happy! read more

What can I say about the office of Dr. Tran? First off the staff is wonderful! And its not one of those things that you just say so they read this and instantly like you, I have reason behind my statement. For example, when the hygenists talk to you, they take the tools out of your mouth so you can actually talk back. Not like other places where they ask a question and you are left trying to mumble some shenanigans. I am one of those weird people that loves going to the dentist. I get it, everyone hates when they find out they have a cavity, or other bad news like a root canal, but come on... who doesn't like getting their teeth nice and clean? I think of it as a nice long hot shower after the most gnarly workout. So with that analagy, Dr Tran and his staff always smile and have a great attitude while they do an awesome job! I just hope that if I ever switch insurance, they will take me! read more
