She educated me throughout the process of the appointment , with great examples of pathophysiology, pathology and care maintenance to improve whatever findings. I'm a physician and I have to say, Dr. Tran and his office staff are the most amazing team of professionals around! My friend had a toothache that rapidly accelerated to an emergency situation on a Sunday night. I called Dr. Tran's office and left a message explaining the situation. I wasn't expecting they would be able to get my friend in for a few days. But, we received a call first thing when the office opened asking offering an appointment that morning. We were so happy! They took excellent care of my friend, were kind and compassionate, and even arranged for a needed visit to a nearby oral surgeon (they called and set everything up) when it was determined an extraction was needed. I have lived in and practiced medicine in the TO area for decades. I know the medical and dental community well. There is no one that compares to Dr. Tran. If your ready to enter the twilight zone & find some fossils! GO TO TRAN. The translation of Tran means: (exhibit, display, old, ancient) Not only is it the most outdated office I have experienced in my life, after my experience directly with Tran I felt I had one leg in the grave ! Aside from the OBVIOUS and Trans lack of modern technology I thought to look beyond the creepiness of the environment, ignore my intuition & give it a chance. I had a filling & a crown done by Tran. #13 & #14 Its a good idea by the way TO KNOW which tooth is which. My mom always said everything starts with your teeth, & did i learn this the hard way. YOU get an infection in your tooth that infection if not TREATED can lead TO YOUR BLOOD STREAM & cause SERIOUS DAMAGE, including DEATH. NOT knowing it was tooth #13 causing me pain I called Tran after having the filling and the crown (over an implant) his exact words "its probably just the nerve it will settle down, give it a few days". THIS TOOTH BECAME SERIOUSLY INFECTED Deteriorating my BONE and effecting MY existing teeth !!! THE LACK of care By TRAN lead to this. UNLESS YOU have a DEATH wish or want to step into a time machine. DO NOT GO TO TRAN'S OFFICE I am so sad and devastated by result of my experience I AM still recovering, THIS HAS BEEN a TOTAL NIGHTMARE with irreparable damage and and ongoing appts & pain FACTS: It's not so much that you'll die of pain, of course, but dentists and research confirm that an untreated tooth infection may infect other parts of the body, either through the bones or the bloodstream. Dr. Tran is professional, reliable, and proficient. I have been a patient since he took over the practice, and my teeth are doing well. On one occasion, I had a routine cleaning, and he ended up filling a small cavity on the spot. He replaced my crown when it broke, and was very accommodating when I had some type of reaction to the medicine. The staff has always been wonderful; I actually know some of them from the time when it was Dr. Hendrickson's practice. When my kids were small, they let me bring them because I couldn't get a babysitter. They always ask about my family, and they are great about confirming appointments. Let's be honest. Nobody really wants to go to the dentist. But when you have to go, Dr. Tran is the best! I had one tooth that was darker than the others, which completely stood out because of my otherwise perfect smile and boyish good looks. I required a root canal and internal bleaching. I'm not sure how he did it but the root canal didn't hurt! He is either really good or I am manlier than I thought. We bleached it 3 times before I was able to get the tooth looking like its counterparts. Dr. Tran was knowledgeable and understanding throughout the entire process. What can I say about the office of Dr. Tran? First off the staff is wonderful! And its not one of those things that you just say so they read this and instantly like you, I have reason behind my statement. For example, when the hygenists talk to you, they take the tools out of your mouth so you can actually talk back. Not like other places where they ask a question and you are left trying to mumble some shenanigans. I am one of those weird people that loves going to the dentist. I get it, everyone hates when they find out they have a cavity, or other bad news like a root canal, but come on... who doesn't like getting their teeth nice and clean? I think of it as a nice long hot shower after the most gnarly workout. So with that analagy, Dr Tran and his staff always smile and have a great attitude while they do an awesome job!
