I got in an extremely annoying accident last month--a low-speed crash that hit my car in an expensive, damaging spot, and that the other driver is currently using to cash in with a personal injury lawyer despite walking away with minimal damage to her car, let alone her body, because people are just awful.
Anyway, after the accident, I tried driving away, only to find that the damage on my back fender was pinching one of my wheels, which made it so my car was not drivable. I pulled into a Burger King parking lot and made a series of panicked phone calls, one of which was to my body shop guy Alan Cha at J & P Auto Center. It was a Sunday afternoon, but the blessed man picked up and let me know that insurance would cover the towing from the accident site. He called his towing guy and told me to sit tight.
The tow truck came in under half an hour, not bad for a Sunday call to a random Burger King (though I guess accidents happen every day and everywhere). The truck was from James Towing, driven by a Korean man who I am guessing is either named James or directly related to James. He was a really nice man, and he loaded my car up in what felt like a very efficient but careful manner.
That was a day full of headache, and I was glad to have at least this part of it pass without incident. I hope you all never need to call for a tow, but if you do, James Towing is the company trusted by my body shop, and I'd recommend it based on my one experience. read more
