I was looking for a physician who would exhibit a true concern for my health and accept the responsibility​ for my overall health by coordinating​​ the work of my specialists. As stated, as time went on, Dr. Matthews became​ less and less helpful to my medical needs and appeared more withdrawn and consequently became unable to meet my needs. Many of my health questions were answered​ with "I don't treat that"s. After my NEXT TO LAST visit​ with her, I made arrangements to be accepted into another doctor's practice; and I did not inform her of such acceptance on our last visit during which she indicated on paper that I was a "complex case" which she could not handle but would see me until I found a new physician. I am very very pleased​ with my new physician's training, interest​ in details​, pleasant attitude, and feel that I am receiving TOP medical attention. I am very aware of the changes in the medical field as it relates to the physicians' practices. I am doing much better on medicines that have been totally eliminated​ or reduced in quantity. When I have a need, I do not have to spend an entire day​ waiting for a response or possibly being seen EVEN during that week, much less the next day, which was the case with two of my serious needs as follow-up from ER. In essence, I can only assume that did not fit into the "classification​" of the majority of her patients.

The colonoscopy and endoscopy that I had on Jan 23, 2025, went well - no complaints. Because I have mysteriously developed anemia, it was essential that the source of a possible bleed be found. The next step was a pill camera, scheduled for Feb. 21. I was unable to swallow the pill camera and was told another method of testing would be investigated and I would be advised. I also was given a stool sample test to take. Since Feb. 21, I have been trying to get in touch with their office via phone and email, and today, a month later, was finally successful, only to be told the doctor had done nothing.

The old office, part of Pardee, was very crowded, though not disorganized as described. The entire practice moved to Advent Health in a new location and with new staff, while keeping the same doctors. Advent also has a brand new orthopedic surgical center which is state of the art and is impressive. My knee replacement will be there in a few months with Dr. Wham. No, I am not a paid ad. I am a real patient and have been happy with this practice at Pardee and now at Advent. That new surgical center though is a game changer!

I was seen by Dr. Bond and before meeting him I met a student who was graduating in just a few days from school. She was very pleasant and asked me a bunch of questions before he came in. I was taken back first for some x-rays of my hand The Dr.( Dr. Bond) Came in and confirmed what I had thought was wrong. Arthritis. He was very professional, very nice. Gave me a few options that would help the pain I had been having in my Thumb. I tried a brace already, I didn't want to take any more pills. So he said a shot would help, not sure for how long but the way mine is it don't get better it can get worse and require surgery. I opted for the shot. He told me it does hurt. Well he did a great job numbing it. It hurt for like 3 more days and the pain went away! I hope it lasts Excellent visit! I go back in approx a month for a follow up then I will call when I need a shot again. I highly recommend asking for Dr. Bond.

She explained everything about my condition giving me multiple options for treatment. She took all the time I needed to answer my questions, never making me feel she was rushing through my visit. I was very impressed with her knowledge and experience and feel very comfortable with the treatment option I selected. I couldn't feel any better about my course of treatment and the doctor that is doing it.

Unless you like gambling with your LIFE, I highly recommend finding a different physician/surgeon…read more Dr. Das did my hysterectomy in July of 2024. I hemorrhaged for over 24hrs and almost died. My children almost lost their Mom because of a negligent surgeon. I ended up in emergency surgery late the next afternoon. There was a 12oz blood clot under my diaphragm which did not surprise me because I started complaining of dyspnea hours after the hysterectomy which got significantly worse. I am a flight medic and I knew something was seriously wrong. The attending MD at Advent (Dr. Archuleta) did absolutely NOTHING, nor did Dr. Das. NOTHING WAS DONE UNTIL I WENT UNCONSCIOUS THE NEXT DAY. When Dr. Das was asked point blank by my family while I was still in the hospital and again by me at post-op appts (which we have recorded), she said "There was no sign of bleeding anywhere, I removed approximately a 12 ounce blood clot that was restricting her diaphragm. I looked and looked but didn't find anywhere the bleeding could have come from. Sometimes hemorrhaging happens for no reason. She/you is/are ok now and healing, that's what we need to be thankful for, she/you survived lets focus on that". YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HEMORRHAGE AFTER SURGERY FOR NO REASON PERIOD. This Sunday 10/26/25 will be 15 months since my hysterectomy (emergency sx was next day) and I have had medical problems EVER SINCE. PLEASE, REALLY THINK ABOUT LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR LIFE IN HENDERSONVILLE OB/GYN & DR. DAS HANDS. IT ALMOST COST ME MINE. I do not want another woman to endure what I went through, what my children, my husband, my Aunt/Uncle witnessed and went through, and what I am still dealing with almost 15 months later. The first picture below was less than 12hrs s/p hysterectomy - second picture is 16hrs, and the last picture was 20hrs s/p hysterectomy. I NEVER stopped telling them something was wrong and that I couldn't breathe.I NEVER STOPPED REQUESTING LABS AND IMAGING. I was not out of the hospital bed so the hemorrhage was NOT caused by physical activity or anything that was my fault. Das insisted I was constipated (I was unable to eat solid foods for 2 weeks before the hysterectomy due to debilitating pain, nausea and vomiting from what she said were small fibroids) PRIOR TO THE HYSTERECTOMY, she wrote orders for GoLYTELY because why not I guess? She had plans that day so she was in a hurry. It was not until I was left in the bathroom alone and unattended WHILE WEARING A FALL RISK HOSPITAL BAND (Advent Hospital) while the nurse stood outside of the closed and latched bathroom door, and losing consciousness while standing did ANYTHING. I DID NOT JUST LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS ONCE, IT WAS MULTIPLE TIMES before Das or the attending decided to do something more than tell me I was full of shit. I had multiple blood transfusions in the hospital, I am still anemic, I have felt terrible since, and have been unable to return to my job as a flight medic due to the ongoing medical problems that stemmed from the iaterogenic laceration that Dr. Das chose to lie straight to my face about. She probably thought nothing would come from her almost killing me since it has been 15 months that is definitely not the case. She repeatedly lied and refused to hold herself accountable. So, I am going to make sure that she and every single person involved with my care from the second I was admitted for surgery 7/26/2024 until now is held accountable.

I sliced a dime sized piece of skin off my finger. When he left the room to get a shot prepared, I realized I didn't want him touching me. I walked out after meeting him in the hallway and giving him an evaluation of his care, holding a piece of gauze on my finger, dripping blood down my arm and onto the floor. The very caring receptionist asked me to wait while she got the manager, who got me another provider to help me out. I still refused the shot and they offered me a less invasive treatment. The manager got me some water and graham crackers, good idea as that much panic could case shock. Thus a mixed review.
