Lots of parking available. The park itself is nice for walking on the concrete path, however, lots of dog that wasn't picked up by owners unfortunately. We were also here on a day when the construction facility next door had an alarm system going off because people walk past it which was annoying to listen to the entire time. But that has nothing to do with the park itself.

When I originally registered for the Rockin Reindeer 5k through JusRun, it was scheduled for Floyd Lamb Park in Northwest Las Vegas. As the race date started to get close to December 14, the schedule was updated for the race to be held at the James Regional Sports Complex! This was my first time at James Regional Sports Complex on a Saturday morning around 9:30 A.M! James Regional Sports Complex is off of the 215/Durango, Southwest, near West Robindale Road. There is plenty of parking available at the James Regional Sports Complex. We had several hundreds of runners and there was still plenty of parking spots open! This is a huge complex. I had a 5k race and we were able to run the 5k here! There were also 10k runners, but they ran the 5k race twice! During my run, I saw lots of fields for sporting activities and even playgrounds! This is such a nice park! There are even lights available at the park area for evening games! This is such a great park! It was clean as well! It's open and lots of space for walkers or runners!

Awesome park with awesome views! They're playgrounds, soccer fields for days and a lot of space to go on walks. It's usually empty and peaceful here so makes it a good spot for people with kids or dogs!

Was in the area so we decided to try this park and we loved it! Super cool slide , splash pad and so much more , my kids could play here for hours. Our favorite park so far

Fun on the swings

Park is small and cute. One jungle gym which is suitable for all ages. I have a 20 month old who is capable of using the jungle gym. Not all of the features, but most of them! Swings are suitable for babies and older kids!

This playground is amazing. It is fully fenced so your kiddos can't take off. Lots of shade thanks to covers over the large playground. Nice grass field. Everything super clean and maintained. The water play area is great too. Just fantastic here! Lots of kids, mostly toddlers as this playground is equipped for them. My puppy had a lot of fun with the kids.

Super cute park! Had tons of swings, wheelchair swings & ramps. I love that it is gated & there is a big grass area for kids to run around in. I definitely want to come back in the summer & try the splash pad. Overall, I felt like the park was clean & was spread out enough that it wasn't crowded!

My kids love this brand new park, but we can only speak of the playground at the moment as we have yet to explore beyond that. The park is huge with many sports fields, so I can see it getting busy in the future with lots of little league games. But the few times we have been since it opened, we have been nearly alone. That will change as word gets out. They playground has so many wonderful unique play features, including a roller slide, a musical instrument area, several games, and a wheelchair swing! So awesome! There is a small splash pad and quite a few swings as well. It's a beautifully laid out park with plenty of bench areas to sit, picnic tables, shade structures, and open grassy areas. There is plenty of parking. We will definitely be coming here quite often! It's our new favorite park.

I'm honestly so grateful to have this park literally a five-minute walk from my house. It's one of…read morethose neighborhood gems that you don't fully appreciate until you realize how well it's maintained. First off it's clean. Like consistently clean. The grass is always green, trimmed, and taken care of, which makes such a difference whether you're just walking through or hanging out for a while. The park itself is spotless, and you can tell upkeep is a priority. My dogs love it here, they love to lay in the grass and play. They have a splash pad/water play area, which is perfect when it's hot (aka most of the year in Vegas ). There are also tennis courts, and open areas so it works for kids, adults, families, and anyone trying to get some movement in. The walking trail is another big plus, smooth, clean, and really nice for morning or evening walks. It feels safe, peaceful, and well cared for, not run-down or neglected like some parks can be. This park checks all the boxes new, clean, well maintained, great amenities, and super convenient if you live nearby. It's a great spot to relax, get some fresh air, or let kids burn off energy without worrying about mess or overcrowding. Definitely one of my favorite things about the neighborhood.

I'm a big fan of the dirt running track around the perimeter of the natural desert landscape (minus…read morethe cacti, which have been completely removed). I'm also a fan of the central grass area in the developed corner of the park. Unfortunately, the edge of the grass is currently littered with poop from small dogs. What is the solution? Maybe there needs to be more conspicuous signage and waste bag dispensers. Maybe a park custodian can be employed to clean up the dog poop on a daily basis. In any case, the underlying problem is the park being overrun by dog owners, which includes the irresponsible ones who don't clean up after their dogs. Especially, the small dogs, which are less conspicuous when they poop. The grass provides enough anonymity for their irresponsible owners to look the other way. I have emailed this concern to Clark County Parks & Recreation.

It looks as though the park has the typical/normal wear and tear of any park that's been around for years in this harsh desert climate. With that being said it's still a pretty good park. They have restrooms, water fountains, two full tennis courts, a basketball court, Big and little kid playground areas, swing sets, a large properly maintenance grass field where lots of kids have been known to practice soccer in. They also have a fitness area as well as a jogging path that I've had the pleasure of using to burn off those pesky calories. Lastly, they have one gazebo area as well as a frequently visited ice cream truck. Hence the reason to burn off those calories, lol.

The park features a large green space, some charcoal grills and tables, a playground, basket ball court, and some exercise equipment. This park is conveniently located near a Sprouts and Cafe Lola, which makes for grabbing some treats and walking over for some enjoyment under the trees very easy. You can walk the trail behind the park, which connects to different parks- the closest being Majestic Bluff Park, I believe. Just a note that this park is by a loud car wash and a busy street, so just be mindful of that when visiting.

Its 18 acres are lined with mature trees, and this time of year the ornamental pears are peaking. They burst into clouds of white blossoms, their branches dusted like powdered sugar. When the breeze moves through, petals drift down slowly, almost like a gentle snowfall. It's intensely beautiful, and because the bloom is so brief, and arrived early this year, it's worth visiting now before it disappears. Notes: although a sign lists the hours as dawn to 10:30pm, the park feels safe. I haven't seen any homeless individuals here, likely thanks to the security guard who patrols in a golf cart. The amenities are extensive: lighted basketball and tennis courts, sand volleyball, bocce ball, horseshoe, shuffleboard, a large playground, BBQ grills, and a community center offering classes and programs. There's also restrooms, water stations, and plenty of parking. My dog has officially declared this his new favorite park. He loves seeing all his friends, each greeting the other with sniffs, and catching up on everything they've missed since yesterday, lol!
