I was in need of a bite adjustment after having a crown recently placed. Hoping for the best, I decided to give this office a call to schedule an appointment. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I've had some unpleasant dental experiences with other practices over the years... Upon walking into the office, I felt very welcomed by Robin (the office receptionist.) The lobby was very cozy, and there was almost no wait time. One of the dental assistants brought me back to the exam room until Dr. Kneib could see me. The assistant was very kind and receptive to my concerns. I didn't feel the initial anxiety that I'd typically feel when going to a new dentist. The exam room was very comfortable, and all of the equipment was high tech. After a short five minutes of wait time in the exam chair, Dr. Kneib walked in. My bite adjustment procedure was thoroughly explained by using modern technology to ensure the most optimal results. I could tell that Dr. Kneib is truly passionate about what he does, which made me feel reassured x100. I never felt rushed once, and all of my questions were answered honestly, and not just 'answered around'. I actually felt valued here. The overall energy and dedication of this practice is wonderful. I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner. For anyone that is seeking high quality dental care, a very educated functional dentist who knows more than just general dentistry--I highly recommend coming here.

They insisted I get a denture more to the fit what they thought I should have instead of what I wanted. I have wore dentures for over 20 years. None of them wear dentures, but they just wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. I even moved out of state and came back for a fitting to make sure they would be correct. They sent me the dentures in a box and pretty much was like good luck the last I heard from them. I'm adding a photo. The denture on the left is what they wanted me to have. The one in the middle is the one that I wanted and this was stressed on my last visit. I have had issues with my bottom teeth due to the length of the upper denture. Lastly, the behavior from Dr. Kneib was sometimes unprofessional and rude. If you ask why I stayed was because I paid for my denture in full. And I felt like I really didn't have a choice. I see why they always have a sign that says taking new patients. Good luck! Resolution is I have found a new Dentist. Having to buy another denture.

The staff was friendly, and always remember the talking parrot! I remember being in the back, where I believe they had beautiful fish tanks. I remember going in for appointments, where they did things like 'tighten them' and put on colorful rubber bands. Remember having some sore teeth at times and needing to take some medicine to feel better. Overall, am glad I had them and went there! Believe it helped me get straighter teeth and a nice smile still with me today! The bar on the bottom teeth has since popped off, but still feel things are okay! As a child, I felt comfortable going in there, which is a definite plus!

I do not recommend Dr. Shok for braces!. I had a terrible orthodontic outcome for an 18 month…read moreorthodontia treatment. Literally, I was left with crooked front teeth on the bottom and a top 2nd front tooth left crossing over the front first tooth which was never like that before treatment started. Initially, my braces were put on Octover 2016 and taken off March 2018 only to be put on back on April 2018 to correct what was not done right the first time. The braces were put halfway on from front to the sides top and bottom allowing work that was initially done to the side and back teeth to cave back in and go back to their original position. October 2018, Dr.Shok made an adjustment, and I had my front teeth separated allowing air to flow through these teeth for 5 weeks making certain words, such as S or F words, hard to say with air always flowing through them. The final horrid adjustment was made November 2018 with Dr. Shok trying to pull my top 6 front teeth in more so to make my teeth match up with the caved in side and back teeth, this created a giant space between both the third and forth front teeth on both sides. I called the office manager, Cindy, along with emailing her, telling her how unhappy I was with my results and telling her they had to do something such as paying for me to go to another Orthodontist as I did not want Dr. Shok touching my teeth anymore and that these braces were paid for and that I shouldn't have to pay yet another orthodontist. Cindy initially said for me to find someone, as in another orthodontist, and they would "work something out". Well, I am now paying another orthodontist to correct what Dr. Shok let fall back apart agai The new orthodontist now has to widen the teeth back out again, top and bottom, closie off the giant gaps between the 3rd and 4th upper teeth and straighten the bottom teeth left crooked. The new orthodontist is turning the root for the front 3rd bottom tooth Dr. Shok refused to address and treat by telling me he can't move my tooth anymore due to there was no room on the top. My new orthodontist stated, " I just don't think he (Dr. Shok) wanted to do it. She stated to me, "you can't move the bottom without the top not moving out and vice versa". She is widening both at this time. My new group is very nice and friendly. I must say Hearher from Dr.Shok's practice is the most unfriendly staff member there. My advice, truly, find another orthodontist. I feel he was lazy and egotistical with his orthodontic treatment ! If you mention you feel something still needs corrected, he will go as far as fabricating a reason as to why it can't be, as I stated above. Again, find someone else, you will be paying out the pocket in the long run if you don't. Jill Fry Rome, OH
