Could not ask for a better doctor. Got me in, did a good job, nice manners. Not rushed. Good front desk people too.

If you have to have periodic injections in your eye(s), there is none better than Retina Institute…read moreof Indiana. Your experience begins with an amazing staff of friendly, smiling faces. The knowledgeable and well-trained assistants are equally friendly and empathetic. Dr. Salam is a published authority on the subject of ophthalmology and retinal issues. He is very professional and highly skilled. The systems in place in the facility benefit both patients and staff in an efficient manner. I've been a patient for some time. If you have to have this kind of care, I don't think any place else is better. It's atypical of medical facilities. It's excellent from the moment you enter the building. Just my humble opinion. I guess I don't have anything to compare these doctors to because I haven't had a need for retinal…read morespecialists before. My husband had a detached retina, and his eye doctor sent him to Dr. Khan. We were squeezed in on a Friday because time is an issue with a detached retina (I have learned A LOT about this subject since last Friday). We were seen without too much of a wait, and I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Khan and his entire staff. He performed the surgery that night at Lutheran Hospital - it took about 2 1/2 hours. He then opened the office by himself on Saturday morning to look at my husband's eye. I know we are probably paying out the nose for this (I haven't yet seen a bill), but I am so happy with the way he has treated my husband and how professional he has been.

Dr. Porter was very knowledgeable and made everything at ease for my daughter! He listened to us and my daughter is not as nervous to proceed with surgery! She had a surgery at 2 and that went absolutely well with Dr. Li as well! She has now since retired! 10/10!

This walking c*ck tells me I have it, then tells me to take Flonase, that it's just my anxiety making my breathing difficult, that women have it more than men, and that he's seen worse, so he doesn't want to work on me. I literally had to use the magic phrase, "this is having a negative impact on my quality of life," in order for him the schedule a follow up X-ray. I told him I wanted it fixed and this MOTHERF*CKER said "I know you THINK that's what you want." Sir, I know that you want another man's d*** in your mouth, but how absolutely obnoxious to try and gas light me. I told my certified mental health professional, she was pissed. I told my physician, she was incredibly dissatisfied with the news. Don't go here. By the end of the interaction, after fighting him to take me seriously, he was so visibly pi**ed he had the gall to tell me that I seemed "unhappy." I told him that my mental health was none of his business and that visibly frustrated him more. Our interaction ended when he swung his white little coat like a weird opera villain, refused to say goodbye, and sneered all of the way out of the door. Written up or fired. He does not belong in the medical field, he desperately wants to be more important than he is and he will treat you like GARBAGE as a result. Ladies. Stay. A. Way.
