The two main dentists are women and for some reason, I like that. The hygienists are friendly, the office is clean and they have the most up-to-date technology. They called, emailed and texted to remind me that it was time to make my 6 month cleaning appointment. I appreciated their enthusiasm for me to get in for my appt. So, I obliged and made the appt for the following week. When I arrived to my appt, the tech sat me down in the X-ray room and started to look at my chart. She said something about me already having X-rays taken, so, naturally I asked them to double check that this cleaning was covered by my insurance. Come to find out that I still had 2 weeks until my insurance would cover and visit. I was quite upset bc I don't know why they'd call, email and text me to make my appt when it wasn't even time yet (and it was only for a 6 month cleaning, not a full year appt). They were overly apologetic, and they even offered to fit me in during my lunch hour the day my insurance would work. They also gave me a $5 Starbucks gift card (which softened the blow). They understood how hard it can be to take time off work, and I appreciated their understanding. So here I am, at a follow up appointment. The hygienists are still friendly and the office is still clean and up-to-date--oh, and they know me by face now. Which I guess is a good thing? Also, this office offers the DermaSpa experience for those who are anxiety-reddened when having to visit the dentist. I highly recommend it. (But dont go before work if you wear makeup, bc the face massage will ruin any makeup you already did for the work day).

HORRIBLE.... Stay away!!!!…read more I've attached photos to show how horrible this dentist is. I saw this dentist for ten years, thousands of dollars. I had a chip in my front tooth for years that was less than 1/16th" and Dr Dugas cut off more than half of my front tooth to fix it (see pics). He then painfully tried to match the color and was unable. I went back for a second three hour procedure and the color was unbelievably wrong again. After he saw how bad the color match was, and offered to repair it. After Dr Dugas offered to repair the damage he caused, I went back the office for the third time and was told the repair would be another $1300. Please do NOT GO TO THIS DENTIS!!! I tried to have the damage repaired by another dentist and was told it's permanent and cannot be fixed. The only reason for the five stars is the dental hygienists that work there. The actual dental work ruined my smile for life. Please pick any other dentist. I have recommended this dentist to many people, and hope they didn't have the same horrible experience I did.

He also liked Dr. Aaron and called him an excellent dentist. When I called initially, Michelle walked me through enrolling my family member as a patient. She emailed a link to online intake forms that were quick and easy to navigate, including scanning his insurance and ID cards. I never had to go to the office. After the appointment was over, when it was time to call the independent living center's transportation person, my family member was confused, and the Carroll Family Dental front desk made the call for him. They scheduled his 6-month cleaning and sent an email with the appointment information. Later that day, they emailed the very reasonable bill to the relative who handles payments. As a caregiver, I am very grateful to Carroll Family Dental for taking good care of my family member and for making the process easy for me.

After reading reviews, I went to Smile Hilliard. I will continue to come to Smile Hilliard for the rest of my time in Columbus and continue to recommend family/friends. Their staff was able to get me in for a next day emergency appt, diagnose my pain, and start my treatment plan immediately. Dr. Henderson and Tara were incredibly friendly and reassuring as I knew I was in the best of care. After my 4th visit in a month, I now have a crown and full patient first time visit in the books. Jen was able to walk me through xrays and explained what makes Smile Hilliard so amazing. They will walk you through every step of the way and will get to know you as a patient for your best treatment plan. Love this team and their dedication to patient care!

When the date approached, emailed me that even a simple cleaning would have a $200+ copay, because Aetna isn't "in network;" (but NO ONE'S insurance is in THEIR network, so that "patients can make their own choices ??) then, even tried to get me to sign up for their "Smile Club"--with a large monthly fee, as though I was going to Costco. Finally, when I brought the deception to their attention, they tried to gaslight me. Reprehensible. Not smiling.
