My husband and I never had to advocate for myself so much only to make a little progress. His attitude and constant interrupting showed that he did not want to be my doctor. He told me to find a different doctor and that there's nothing he could do. The suffering because of my health that I go through is immense and he definitely added to it. He might be a fine doctor to go to if you have an issue that is more common and acute, but not if it is a complex chronic illness. I don't want to be treated like a lazy, weak, and crazy liar.
