There wasn't much street parking this morning, but you can actually park in the parking garage right before Snooze. The clinic validates parking so it should be free for an hour or so. I met with Dr. Colleen Brown and one of her specialties is skin care. You see, I had a disgusting infection on my new tattoo. She was very professional and direct. Just asked me what's wrong and prescribed me some medication. Easy peasy.

She said they had a backlog of 5,000 uprocessed referrals. I can't even fathom what this would mean my healthcare needs were dire. - My PCP turned off my ability to message her after one message. - Recently I showed up for a dermatology appointment and, after disrobing and waiting, I was told I couldn't be seen that day because I had an endocrinology appointment earlier that day, completely wasting hours of my time. Yet it was someone within Perlman Clinic who had booked both appointments for me. - They have ZERO holistic options. The ONLY PCP I could find with a holistic (ie TRULY "integrative") background was fully booked out with no option for a waitlist. - The first PCP I tried with them, when I asked her "do you trust me to know my own body" looked me straight in the eye and, deadpan, said "No." Then she proceeded to get very agitated. - A recent referral was denied by my insurance and they claimed they had no interest in disputing it. - A doctor I waited a month to get in to see cancelled two hours before with no reason or apology, and bumped me right to the back of the line again, forcing me to wait another month to see her. - The endocrinologist I've been working with clearly has zero real knowledge. My research and conversation with functional doctors has shown me that if I flat out listened to her, it could be dangerous for my health. - My insurance denied thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of claims because they were incorrectly submitted. - The clinics emulate complete lack of health. Everyone who works there looks and feels so unhappy and unhealthy. I have trouble understanding how these are the people we should be counting on for our health? - As if this list weren't long enough, there's so much more beyond this - all WAY too long to list here. Update: After posting this review, I received a phone call from someone who pretended to care. But it was crystal clear in their speech that they cared ZERO. Every time I have expressed concern I've been met with inauthentic, canned speech (poorly) designed to suppress people.

She is kind, patient, thorough, and really takes the time to listen. You never feel rushed, and she makes sure all of your questions are answered. Her office is professional, efficient, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Dr. Denysiak has a great bedside manner and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. It is not always easy to find a doctor who is both highly competent and compassionate, but she truly is both. I highly recommend Dr. Denysiak to anyone looking for a physician who is attentive, caring, and excellent at what she does.

After struggling to get doctors to take me seriously about a medical issue with family history, Dr. J is the first doctor to truly hear me out and arrange the testing I needed. She has done so on very large issues as well as minor. She is kind, quick, and so knowledgable and helpful. In the very few instances I have questioned her (really just to make sure I understood what she meant), she *immediately* provided recommendations/referrals for me to get a second opinion if I would like- her first goal is ALWAYS to make sure I get the care I need and am able to address my medical concerns how I see fit. Referrals can take awhile to come through, but calls on my end to the insurance always reveal the problem is with the insurance provider lagging. My recommendation is to communicate via MyChart, which she and Dr. Barbara do a wonderful job of corresponding on regarding appointments, online virtual visits, and addressing general questions. Dr. J has been the primary care doctor I've ever had. I would highly reccomend seeing her!

I have a lifelong resistance to doctors, lots of waiting and they see you for such a short moment…read morethat what is the point? I've also moved a ton so have never had a chance to develop a rapport with a Doctor until now. I have been seeing Dr. Falquier for 3 years now and LOVE her. I have been (until the last 4 weeks) been a healthy young woman and only visited her on the routine occasions for the regular check ups etc. about a month ago i developed a sever back issue that is still going on. I have seen her about 4 times in the past month as she is tireless in trying to find the right resolution for my pain. She is so friendly and understanding, I know that she has my best interest at heart. I'm also very glad at how young she is as she won't be retiring anytime soon and I hope she is my doc forever. Everyone at the downtown location is very courteous and fast, and friendly. I've hit the Urgent care 3 times and always been seen very quickly. All that aside though, Dr. Falquier rocks. If you've never had a bond with your doc I seriously recommend checking her out. Good luck!!

Another 5-star review for Dr. Falquier, but it bears repeating - she's awesome!…read more I came across her because she was in the same office as someone on the list of San Diego's best doctors. That doctor wasn't accepting new patients but Dr. Falquier was, and boy am I thankful for that. Finding a good doctor is always tough, and after a couple of false starts, I'm really happy that I found her. She's totally on the ball, makes you feel comfortable, genuinely seems to care (imagine that!), and is funny to boot. I love Dr. Falquier, and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new primary care physician.

I've never had any trouble getting an appointment relatively quickly. Wait times are not long in my experience. Minuses: Some things he does not seem to be super knowledgeable on, that in my mind a PCP should be solidly up on. For example, vaccinations. I let him know I'd like to get up to date with vaccinations and he insisted that adults don't need them. Suspecting that this was not altogether correct, I went to CVS Minute Clinic and they were able to provide me with a CDC list and give the boosters and vaccinations that have become standard since I was born (Hep B, A).I realize that travel vaccinations are a totally different ballgame, but with basic childhood vaccinations I would think he'd be in the know. I get the impression that retirement is near and that he may not be as sharp as he once was, although I have been seeing him for only a couple of years. I don't know that I would return to him if I were having a serious ailment as some of the things he's said have sounded off (as in, contrary to everything other doctors & the internet have told me) but for regular checkups he has always seemed very thorough and pleasant!

At least 2 cardiologists said his heart condition was like 'a ticking time bomb,' and needed the heart surgery but.... first needed to treat the sepsis which involved tests and antibiotics for two weeks at the hospital. Afterwards was transferred to a skilled nursing facility for more monitoring before the actual heart surgery. To keep this brief, the heart surgery was over 11 hours of which was an excruciating time of nervousness for me. Well, the surgery was successful and as of today, after 2 years, my dear friend is alive to talk about it, although he was sedated all that time and can't recall much. He has other medical issues subsequent to that surgery but is not as life threatening. I've waited this long to write this review, because sometimes when surgery is a success, the patient's diagnosis post surgery can decline rapidly. Not so much in my friend's case, he's Alive!!
