DO not ever go to this "doctor". I'm not one to use Yelp for more than food, but if I can keep…read morepeople from seeing this doctor , I will. by word of mouth, yelp, whatever. My story: I don't have health insurance, this doctor knows I'm paying out of pocket, and that I was about to move, (basically saving money) and came to this expensive doctor because store bought med wasn't helping. I had (still have) horrible ear pain. I came in, waited a really long time for this doctor, she comes in and says only, "how long have you had the pain?" no hello, no how are you, no smile. She checks my ears and throat and goes,"sinus infection". I'll give you some medicine, I'm like, i've had sinus infections for years, I KNOW thats not what this was. She says my ears are dry, and puts some cream in my ears . (ill get to the cream later) She offers a steroid shot to help with my 'sinus infection'...I say ok....not knowing the cost, but I know she knows I'm trying to be cost effective here. so i dont worry. I ask another question about my mouth, she literally says, I don't know, put some moisturizer on it" and walks out. That was my , MAYBE 5 minutes with her. I get my bill 2 weeks later.....I am charged 200$ for the shot, and 31$ for the bit of cream she put in my ear....that cream from CVS costs 20$ for a WHOLE TUB! So I paid almost 400$ to wait 45 mins to have 5 minutes with a doctor who was rude, and I'm still sick. Thanks Dr McGowan! I really appreciate your wasting my time and my money. OH! and get this, my mom was really pissed about this, so she calls to say, hey, this dr. was really rude to my daughter, (she had recommended her to me) and all they say is, oh im sorry, she had just came back from a major surgery. maybe she wasn't in a great mood. i wish doctors could give you your money back.

Dr. Diane McGowan, should consider moving to Beverly Hills and taking up some type of cosmetic…read moresurgery practice. I must first start by saying that I have never been a patient and WILL NEVER BE!!!! On 04-14-2016 I had to have a tonsillectomy, which was performed by the wonderful Dr. James Jones! I was sent home Friday and I have been in a lot of pain. It was explained to me that this procedure was really brutal on adults. However, during the procedure I had some unexpected breathing issues and an airway had to be inserted. Upon returning home I have been having major problems with not being able to catch my breath, strangling on the smallest sips of water, my tongue was extremely swollen I I developed thrush from the antibiotics and when I have been able to dose off for a few minutes I wake up gasping violently for air, and this has led to panic attacks. I ended up going to the ER at about 3:30 this morning when my BP was 134/104 and I could not catch my breath. Given oxygen and morphine and films to check for swelling etc. I was sent back home. The symptoms returned. Per instructions from the attending physician in the ER I called my Dr's office Dr. Diane McGowan was on call for Dr. Jones she was paged and did not call. after several hours and recalls she finally called. What I received was one of the rudest, most hateful people I have ever spoken with, considering their profession. It is very hard for me to speak and when she told me she was having problems with my voice breaking up and I explained my pain she promptly told me no it was my poor quality of phone. I was trying to find out what to do about my condition and if it was possible that I was having a reaction to the medications, she told me that the ER treated me for pain and that was what it was, that she did not know how fat I was and then asked me what I expected her to do about it. I was caught so off guard that I just hung up the phone. I hope I never have any dealings with this woman every again.
