Sometimes it is difficult for me since having a Stroke. Although there were several Staff Assistants, not one could assist me when I asked for help with removal. Prior to leaving I requested a spare pair of contacts to have...Just in case until I can be seen by an Opthalmologist. I was told they did not have a pair, would have to order and would call when they came in. That was 2 weeks ago. They never called. I contacted their office on 3 occasions and even offered to pay for the pair of lenses. Each time being told a different story. 1st story: "They have been ordered and we'll call you." 2nd story: "They will be in the 1st part of next week." 3rd story: "We're not sure exactly when they will be here but you should not need another pair since the pair you have lasts 30 days!" Hopefully, that is the case....one never knows. Today, my vision, thanks to Dr. Thoele, has clarity, for which I am so very grateful. However, not being able to be provided with a simple spare pair of contact lenses from his Staff, has sent a very negative message.

This was my first visit to Gailey Eye Clinic in Forsyth and I think they are great. The…read morereceptionist was friendly and helpful. It was around 2:30 p.m. and an average amount of patients. were waiting to see their doctors. It seemed they flowed in and out easily and my wait wasn't long. The tech named Jennifer who did my eye exams was personable and really nice. She was easy to talk to and fun to be with. I had to wait in the waiting room while my eyes dilated for about 20 minutes, but it was well worth the wait to keep healthy eyes. Dr. Joseph Harman was very well groomed and professional. I was relieved to know I didn't have a serious problem and hope to return next year for a recheck. Thank you Dr. Harman and your wonderful staff.. My only suggestion is bring someone to drive you home if your eyes are dilated. I didn't need sunglasses as it was raining today, but if it's sunny out take them.
