    I can't find much of anything to complain about. A great experience all-around!…read more First, the whole process was easy. After the initial paperwork, I was immediately taken in for eye tests and then promptly seen by the doctor (Dr. Ronald Suarez, OD - who was absolutely awesome!). Out of all my years of annual eye exams, this exam was definitely the most efficient; quick yet thorough. They did not have the brand of contact I have been using for years in my new prescription's strength, so Dr. Suarez gave me a trial of a new brand to try. The new brand he gave was still slightly off on the exact prescription, so he gave me a sample pair in the strength closest to my prescription, and will give me a new sample pair after the ones for my prescription come in. (Long story short, he basically gave me two pairs of contacts to try for free with the exam). I usually take the prescription from my eye exam and buy my contacts online. However, All About Eyes had about the same price for contacts as the cheapest place I could find online (and without all the hassles of coupons and mail-in rebates). So I simply bought my contacts in-store. Plus, with the sample contact lenses they gave me, it allows me to try the new brand of contacts before opening the actual box of contacts I purchased (free exchanges for unopened boxes of contacts; no questions asked). I was then seen by Tallie W., who handled all the insurance info. She was also very courteous and helpful. Dr. Ronald Suarez and Tallie W. were great from start to finish. Overall, I was really impressed with this place. I will definitely be coming back to All About Eyes for my next annual eye exam and to order contacts.

Everything was fine when I came back for the appointment and through the appointment but after they got my orders in for glasses and sunglasses they apparently were made incorrectly because when I tried them it definitely wasn't my prescription as everything was blurry. The girl I talked to about it looked over paperwork and confirmed something was wrong so they had to remake them. This was like two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back from them since. Trying to give them the patience they didn't give me when I was 6 minutes late on my first appointment. Going to bring going in soon and if they are still not I'm going to just ask for my $400 back.

A man and lady came in and started yelling at the young man working the counter. Using such vulger language toward him, telling him ti "shut up" and calling him names. The young man Trevin handled the situation so well for someone so young. The young lady working as well, Alyssa, stepped in to help and both of them never once raised their voice. I went back with the Dr for the test and he was very personable and definitely made me feel very comfortable. He talked and it wasn't the usual rushed in and out service as the with the previous Dr from my last visit. When complete Alyssa looked up my insurance and explained to me what it all covered. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding. This was the absolute best visit I have had. Special Thanks to Trevin & Alyssa for the amazing customer service!

    They gave my daughter her glasses and the first thing she said was, "I can't see!"…read moreMy daughter's glasses broke so I needed glasses fast. So I thought going to Illinois Express Eyecare would be the best choice since they make their own lenses there. First, the girl that tests before seeing eye doctor, couldn't get the test done right, so she said, oh well we won't do that eye. Then, I knew things weren't going well when the eye doctor quickly checked her eyes and turned to me and said, "her eyes look good and are healthy". (Well I know that isn't right, she had a few styes and large red swollen lump , very noticeable, that we have been seeing for a year with her doctor) He said her eyes changed just a little. After 2 hours of them making the lenses, they handed it to my daughter. My daughter said, "I can't see". Then she felt really embarrassed because she said that and everyone looked at her. Well, the response of course is wait for a few days for your eyes to get use to them. We got home and my daughter was extremely upset. She said she can't see, everything is really weird. Things are curved. Can't explain it. I looked at the lenses and they were so thick, and curved and sharp on the edges of the lenses. Looked like they weren't finished lenses. Really bad and noticeable strange. Completely different from her old glasses, which shouldn't if they 'changed a little' So we went back next day in the morning to see the doctor, but they said the doctor isn't in. We told the lady what was going on and she checked with the prescription and said well it has changed quite a bit especially the right eye and that would be the reason for her not seeing well. I then said it was changed only a little. They said no it wasn't by the prescription especially the right eye. I said my daughter sees things curved, that's not ok. Then the lady got the glasses and looked at them and took them in the back. Came back to us and said they were made wrong. The guy who made them hit the wrong number when making them. Right there points to a fact that they do NOT have good service, there should have been a system in place to check the lenses to be correct before giving to customer !!! They worked on the lenses. As soon as we got out the door my daughter said I still can't see right, they are better but not right. So we waited til Monday, Doctor just left again. It was like 1:30 in the afternoon. I thought there would have been a doctor there, but no. Got an appointment for the next day. Went in the next day for scheduled appointment and they said he left early for the day, didn't we get the phone message? No, because they never asked for our phone number. So this was the 4th time there, trying to get glasses for my daughter. Five days now with no glasses to see right, now we have to wait for another appointment?! I asked for office manager. She was busy on conference call and it would be a while. So, I had to go home again and wait for her call! I asked for money back on the phone with the office manager. I was so frustrated by then and my daughter was so upset and couldn't see for days now.
