I have a Jamba Juice mobile app and placed an order for a Mango-a-go-go online for pick-up at 9:45 am. on Sunday at this Fair Oaks Blvd location. The shop is supposed to be opened at 8 am on Sundays. To my surprise, it was closed when I got here. I called the shop several times with no answer and no way to leave a message because voicemail was not set up. I paid for my order in advance, so I waited for 25 minutes before going home. I understand an emergency can happened but someone should have left a sign or at the least stop accepting mobile orders! She says we will give you a medium scoop of kale with an attitude, not like I'm sorry we can't do that but we have a policies she just know will give you a medium scoop of kale what we can give you and with an attitude I said OK thank you very very disappointed and like kind of just took it off guard by the fact that I told her that I have an injury like I have a colon injury. I just had a colonoscopy three days ago and really helps with my colon, she had no regard for anything that has to do with human life. She was just focused on the task of getting the drinks out to the people because she didn't wanna have to do her work and there was quite a few people in there so me being me I usually don't make commotions, but I just decided to get a refund on my drink and, I was kind of mad when I got it I didn't yell or say anything bad you I just said matter fact I just want to refund my drink. I could tell she was being very generous and very nice but the other girl was just basically trying to make everything difficult and with a smile on her face makes me so damn smile on her face-to-face smile while you're sitting there, staring at somebody who you know you hate for no reason and yeah, the other Maurices that I've met there were so awesome like man I asked for a little bit extra kale. They gave me a lot of sugar. I asked for a couple extra strawberries and blueberries. The oatmeal bowl is misdesigned and always misprepared. It used to be fresh and fast, now it's something from a frozen preprepared bowl. Never ever cooked through, not warm at all. Slower than dirt to make. I could see the employee struggling with it for nearly ten minutes (there was no wait), adding liquid, trying again, and so forth. Gave it to me anyways. Was prepping another oatmeal bowl for an unsuspecting pickup order. Next time, I'm bringing a thermometer, take pictures and will send a complaint to the County. Get your act together. Your full menu isn't visible at one time, requiring a wait as it scrolls. And no physical menu for people to read. You also eliminated the vegan sausage sandwich which was my favorite and have milk in most of your drinks which I can't eat. Your smoothies are never smooth and have chunks of frozen fruit in most of them. Frankly, I don't care how long it takes to get served as long as the product is correct. Which is, like, NEVER. Why don't you see if you can produce hot oatmeal as a start? And clean up the slop on the tables outside your entrance at least once before opening. This Jamba has gotten some bad reviews in the past, and that's understandable. The service on a distant past visit was bad for me and the drink worse. Well, I came back for a lunchtime treat and I have to say it's a big improvement. You look for quality service and drinks from a chain like this and they did not disappoint. I went with my usual, the Orange Dream Machine. It's a heavenly mixture of orange sherbet, orange juice, soy milk, frozen yogurt and ice and it tastes almost exactly like a classic Orange Julius. Here, they served me quickly and their version of this drink was probably the best I've tasted. I also got service with a smile and, considering the wait, a drink within five minutes. The only criticism I have here is parking. The entire plaza is always a jam-packed hot mess. That isn't the fault of Jamba, however, so I'll focus just on what happens inside their doors. read more

They've had some issues with vandalism (broken windows) and what appears to be a broken menu screen, but they are coping with it well while doling out delicious smoothies on the daily! They had a bunch of menus printed and easily accessible (also, just ask if you can't find it) while the menu screen wasn't working. The cashier who took our order was patient and explained the different boosts to my teen who hadn't had one before- even though they were obviously busy. The manager came by and pointed out the tumblers they have for sale, which are really cute BTW. There was a total Karen customer in right before us and the manager was sooooooo patient and kind while she gave him step by step instructions on how to do his job. I give them a lot of credit. I have been very impressed with his kind, helpful customer service. Even when it is really busy he is pleasant with all customers and genuinely appears to enjoy helping each customer to their satisfaction. First of all, I love Jamba. I usually go to Rancho location, but I was closer to this one today. I ordered a baked good - was cold, frozen in middle. My drink, I didn't ask for ginger & for some reason I ended up with it. I understand shortages in items - like cups. But if you're going to serve my Jamba in a solo cup at least give your customers the oz they pay for. Medium should be 22 oz, the solo cup labeled 21 oz & not filled to top. I've tried the acai bowls at Nektar in Los Angeles, but the ones they offer at Jamba Juice are more to my liking. They offer 16oz and 24 oz sizes. Their acai primo bowl is acai topped with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, granola, coconut shavings, and honey. This combination is perfect and every bite leaves me wanting more. I can eat this everyday for breakfast for the rest of my life! We also tried the tropical greens freshly squeezed juice. I recommend it! So aggravated with this Jamba. They are losing lots of business by being so slow. I've pulled in and left when i saw how many people were waiting or said no let's not stop they're so slow. Today we waited 28 minutes for 2 smoothies and a waffle. It doesn't seem super understaffed, just lots of inefficiency. Ie cashier standing waiting for new customers to walk in and order, while there are 20+ waiting for orders to be completed. Maybe let the line form a bit for orders and help out with prep. At one point there were 3 cleaning and no one making smoothies. I get they need to clean and prep and restock but it seemed like dedicate one to that task might move things along. Then after waiting an extra few minutes for the waffle I asked (again) for it and worker found it sitting on top of toaster. Maybe when they're done actually hand them out instead? I get that it's a lot of young workers and I'm totally tolerant of new or understaffed, but there's got to be someone who can train them some in organization and efficiency. read more

I like this location because it's easy to get in and out of in the morning and it's nice and bright inside with a small outdoor patio. It quickly turns into parking lot hell during lunch, so choose your trips wisely. I have been going to Jamba Juice for about 15 years now and have always loved them. I have noticed recently that their prices have become super expensive for what you are getting. I know fruits and veggies are expensive, but paying $5-6 for a smoothie? Even $4+ for a small is hard for me to do. They do have a lot of coupon specials if you check their website or sign up for their emails for $1.00 off, $2.00 smoothies, $3.00 juice etc. But I would rather have great prices everyday then have to wait for a special which is what I have to do. They have expanded their smoothie menu to including different types of smoothies including veggie smoothies, fruit and veggie smoothies, juice smoothies, dairy free smoothies, dessert smoothies, etc. Employees are friendly and they get you in and out in a matter of minutes. I will keep coming back to this location when I can find a special, but otherwise it's too rich for my blood. read more
