    Parfaits

Absolutely exceptional service from the General Manager at this location. I work for a local Non-Profit and was working with this team to order Parfaits for our directors onsite annual meeting. I believe the managers name way Taylor, she was absolutely phenomenal. She called me back, worked with me on the longevity recommended for the parfaits, took my informal order over the phone, and was ready for me to pickup BEFORE OPENING. Absolutely amazing service, i cannot express enough gratitude. 10+ Stars would be given if that were to be an option. We were working with an incredibly small budget and their unwavering care encourages me to cater with this location for many meetings in the future. Jama Juice, please take care of Taylor and Team at the DOCO location, they took great care of us!

The carrots she doesn't have. Such a bad lazy manager.

Went in at 7 pm 2 hours before closing ordered a carrot juice. Was told by the big girl with glasses that we can't make carrot juice. I asked why? She said because it is our policy that once the juice machine is clean that we won't make juice anymore. I told her, that's bs she said sorry it's the policy. I walked out and decided to call the manager and she came up with different lie. She said we are out of carrots. I told her there was a lexan full of carrots. She said they were for display only. Being a restaurant manager for 20 years. I know what they did honestly I would fire that lazy ass manager trying to leave right at closing instead of taking care of a paying customer and sitting her ass in the office. She wouldn't give me any phone numbers of her boss. I will follow up with corporate in the morning.

The girls here were super sweet and we got our drinks in a timely manner. My friend ordered the açaí bowl and I had the peanut butter mood.

When you first get there, you need to get a form and fill it out. Once you're done, you put the form on the black form holder. Then you wait for your name to be called. I browsed the store while waiting for my sandwich. They let us sample chili that day. By the time I came back, my sandwich was ready. The sandwich was massive. You definitely should try their corti bros special. They get to decide what meat you'll get for the day. Definitely would come back for a loaded sandwich that's under $10. The parking lot can be chaotic because it gets busy here.

When you enter the store the deli counter is to the left. You begin your order by filling out a small piece of paper which tells the sandwich makers what to put on your sandwich. Once your selections are made place the paper on a small black plate at the end of the counter right next to where you filled out order sheet. I usually go with a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich with pepper jack for the cheese. They have all of the usual fixings expected at a deli shop. Just circle what you want and wait for them to call your name. What made the sandwich stand out was the generous portion size and the fresh bread. The Dutch crunch actually crunched!!! They have tables and chairs outside to the left of the entrance to sit and eat. The store opened in 1947 and the food was excellent. Will most definitely be back when I am in the town!!

They've mastered their bread, always fresh, crispy outside, and soft inside. They're generous with their fillings too. My all-time fave is the grilled pork banh mi. The pork is so tasty and juicy, levels above any of the other pork banh mis I've tried elsewhere. Their (relatively) new fish patty banh mi is also up there! Literally got 1 small grilled pork and 1 small fish patty today because I couldn't decide lol. You'll more than likely find a line here, but it moves fast and the wait isn't too bad considering how busy they are. Came right before the lunch rush on a Thursday and waited about 15 minutes for our food (6 sandwiches). It's a made-to-order takeout structure, so order and pay for any grab-and-go items at the register, then wait for your number to be called/displayed on the screen to pick up at the windows next to the register. The bread is crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The vegetables are fresh, pickled vegetables are crunchy and the meat is just delicious. The sandwish just hit the spot. The portion is generous and full of toppings. The staff is helpful and efficient. Although there was a long line, the line for ordering went very quickly. However, the line to pick up sandwishes had a wait. I waited about 30 minutes after ordering before my sandwishes were ready. But the sandwishes were freshly made. Just be aware of the wait time. I give 5 stars for the banh mi, but drop it to 4 stars for the whole experience (long wait time). I would definitely come back everytime I'm in the area.

Unfortunately,…read morethis time the sandwich was so skint I had to add chips inside it just to give it some substance. And speaking of chips... two small bags were $4 each. Were these chips hand-carved by artisans somewhere? Blessed by monks in the moonlight? I'm genuinely curious. I ordered the club, and I swear there was maybe one slice of turkey and a single, lonely piece of lettuce in the entire thing. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. Honestly, the sandwich felt a bit like a mime, the idea of a sandwich was there, but the substance was invisible. I even wondered if maybe the fillings weren't hungry themselves. By the end I felt less like I had eaten lunch and more like I had participated in a sandwich-themed illusion. Sadly, it looks like I'm Togo's-bound from here on out. I always root for unique local spots, but this felt more like a "Shamwich" than a sandwich. Tough times when the hungry leave hungry. Poor sand-wich-ship indeed.

They open at noon instead of being open when I was ready after church My husband and I walked up a couple blocks, looked at all the different restaurants, and I've seen this sandwich spot many times, but I've never tried it My husband said it was catered at his work one time, but it was the cold cuts and he said he liked it However, I walked in like the inside it was clean. I needed to use the restroom. The only thing I would say is the music in there is extremely loud in the bathroom that is. They only have one restroom, so hopefully you don't go with the group of people and everybody needs to use the restroom at once For both of us to eat it was about $30. I did get chips and a soda with mine. My husband just got the sandwich I got the. "The Damon Bruce" holy moly. This was so delicious. I only eat 1/2 brought the other half home. My brother was here and he ate it and he said it was so good too so it comes with onion ring steak and they ask you if you want to put any vegetable vegetables in there so I added the tomato the lettuce and I also wanted red onion in it. Let me tell you this is my new favorite sandwich place. I'm a little bummed that there's not one in Natomas! However, I'm really glad to know this place exist.. My husband got a steak sandwich. I don't know the name of it. He said he has never had a hot sandwich before and it was so good. He doesn't give vegetables and stuff, but he did get jalapeños in his and I seen him scarf it down so he must've loved it. They got barbecue chips ate a few of them. Their bags are a little bit different, but it was good. They didn't have root beer for soda that's my only downfall. It's one of my favorite drinks however I shouldn't be drinking soda anyways, but I did have Pepsi. This made for a great afternoon after church and I will make this one of my regular stops every month The only thing that was negative was the music being too loud in the bathroom and the girl that handed me the bag of the food, but I've learned that teenagers young people these days they are not like we used to be when we were young so it's kind of like just a handoff and I don't wanna say it was rude because I think this is just how teenagers are these days. 10/10 say you must try!

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll. For more adventurous sandwich people, go for broke! This is your place!
