Mom and I were at Palo Alto's Town & Country Village on Sunday, September 29, 2024, parked in a space nearby Jamba Juice in the lot. We ended up stopping by since the kids wanted some drinks from here. We arrived at the colorful counter-serve chain shortly after 2:30 PM to a store with just a few customers. The tiny shoppe had little to no seating inside and minimal tables and chairs outside at the storefront. For the most part, the place, inside and out, appeared to be clean. Jamba Juice's menu offers health-focused fruit smoothies, juices & light bites. We ordered 5 drinks (Medium buzzin' mocha moo'd for $11.49, 2 Large electric berry lemonades for $21.18, Medium white gummi for $11.49 and Large strawberries wild for $11.99) and an açaí primo SMOOTHIE BOWL, replacing the blueberries with extra organic granola ($13.29) for a total amount of $69.44. Everything was prepared without error and ready in a jiffy. Easy peasy. I would definitely return here without a second thought. read more

I went to Jamba this weekend to get a smoothie for my kid. We looked at the flavors and decided on which one to get. We were halfway through our order when we saw that a "small" is $9.99. For that price, I can go next door and get an entire kids meal (rice+meat+veg+juice bottle) for my kid, or a huge bowl of soup for myself. The idea that a _small_ Jamba would cost the same is laughable. We enjoy our homemade smoothies more than the very sweet smoothies that Jamba makes. Was here last week and observed Jana, the shift supervisor handling money and preparing food and drinks without washing her hands. Also her boss should tell her that it is not a requirement for her to wear a ring on every finger, it is unsanitary to wear jewelry when prepping fo, she was wearing 2-3 on each hand. I'm just recovering from a very bad bacterial infection and it is for people like her that viruses and bacteria get spread. Would not return to this location. After my initial review i received a message from Jamba Juice telling me they take this very serious and that they will address the issue, so i decided to go back give them another chance. I place my order online and when i went to pick it up I found the same lady with with all this jewelry on her fingers. Either her boss didn't follow through or she is ignoring what she was told. The cashier Ruby D was really unfriendly. While I was ordering, she was eating at the cashier stand. I had subbed out peaches for a drink due to an allergy and she charged me to substitute pineapple. When I looked at the receipt and asked her why I was charged, she replied "I guess that's right". Then another team member helped me and tried to refund the extra charge back to my card. It's kept very tidy despite the deluge of patrons, though the space is small and standing room only indoors. Go to another Jamba. First off, I was greeted poorly by the Manager...that should have tipped me off. I haven't been to Jamba in a while and wasn't sure whether I had to enter my rewards # before or after my order and he made me feel like an idiot for not knowing. Ok, whatever people have bad days, just give me my Tropical Greens smoothie. Before my drink was handed to me, another employee asked if I wanted ice in my drink. Confused (because shouldn't there already BE ice in a smoothie?!), I declined and was served 4/5 of an smoothie. Uh, ok... Good to know I paid in full for less smoothie. I took one sip and it was almost room temp. No joke. The smoothie wasn't even cold and the worst part was that it was SO chunky. Yes, I ordered a drink with kale and it'd probably have some chewy bits, bit it had straight up LEAVES in this. I chewed through this disappointing "drink" they charged me $6 for!!! See photo of the last bit of smoothie I got too tired of chewing from. It was like they handed me a wet salad to drink from. Had I not been in a hurry, I would have gone back and complained, as this is one of the saddest excuse of a smoothie this franchise has ever given me. I needed a cool refreshing smoothie right after eating a nearby spicy lunch last Sunday, and a Jamba Juice was the perfect thing. I had the Peach Perfection ($6.89 medium size) which was a non-dairy blend of peaches, mangos, and strawberries. Non-dairy meant that I could share it with my lactose intolerant son. If I can, I will give minus 2 star for this location. Went in to order a juice. Two interns didn't know how to make the juice nor making the refund. After 20 mins of waiting, finally the manager came back from his break. The intern was hoping to get some guidance but all the manager did was pointing to a paper on the wall which might have the instructions. Another 10 mins passed, the intern was still struggling and had little clue to make the pressed juice. Seeing little chance I will get the properly pressed juice anytime soon plus such a big food safety concern while observing how it's processed, I then told the manager that I'd like to have a refund. He printed the receipt that showed 0 orefund transaction as attached here and simply told me that I've been refunded to my original credit card. What??? Not only time wasted, no juice in hand, no idea if I've been charged w/o refund, but also shockingly knowing that as a big food chain store, Jamba Juice has such a low standard of hiring the employee as well as providing no training prior to their employment and internship. A little embarrassed I was here in the first place - typically opt to make real fruit/veggie smoothies at home, but had to figure out a place to meet a non-coffee drinker (who clearly likes consuming mass amounts of sugar with fruit). The drink was obviously meh, but worse was the frickin' anti-vaccine sign they have on the door - the sign states that you will get all kinds of diseases from vaccines because of the chemicals in vaccines. I won't even go into why this statement is ridiculous (have your pediatrician explain what's not in your vaccine the next time you consider opting out and screwing up society's herd immunity). In this day and age when we have people who have opted out of vaccinating their children for measles, polio, and other diseases because Jenny McCarthy told them so, it is incredibly irresponsible for a business to promote quack notions on their front door. read more

This Jamba juice in town and country is a hit or miss. The store manager isnt very helpful to his crew at least the about 5 times I've been there. Hes helped me out 2 out of those 5 times and he wasnt rude by any means but didnt seem like he wanted to help me at all either. Theres a young lady there every morning and 3 out of those 5 times I went at about 8am. There were about 7 people in line and she was the only one working her butt off to fulfill orders and deal with some of the upset clients before me. Meanwhile the store manager was hanging out in back not helping her out. Poor management for sure but the 3 star is really for the young lady who works her butt off in the mornings. I was "helped" by Jana who surprisingly happens to be the supervisor. I drove up and was deceived by the lights being off or dimmed so I waited until they were on. Big mistake since the signage by the door says they open at 7. I Walked in and Jana took her time to greet me and took at least 6-8 minutes to help me. She half made my drink then stopped to make mobile orders. As more people walked in she shot them a "good morning" without even looking up. By the time there were three people in line she had barely picked up on making my drink again. The customer service was terrible today. This Jamba Juice had slower service. It was fairly low energy - and not all that upbeat. Possibly an off groove between the team members, or simply a bad day. It's also has a poor design, meant probably more for an ice cream parlor, than a Jamba. The hallway isn't big enough to pass by when people are waiting, leading to a cluster. Especially when it's slow. I will say that it was open and airy and there was good seating outside, nice to relax during the longer wait. The posted hours at the store are: M-F 9-9 Sat 9-7 Sun 10-7 However, the store apparently doesn't even adhere to its posted hours because I came at 8:30p on a weekday to find it closed. Lazy employees. Very frustrating and annoying! This location is super tiny with no indoor seating. It is located near the Pottery Barn and Starbucks in the Stanford mall shopping center. I come here at least 3 times a week. Its right next to work and very convenient. My favorite is the Fresh Banana Oatmeal. The staff is very friendly and very fast. The only downside is around lunchtime. Its right next to a high school so all the kids usually come and get their smoothies. So it gets really packed and the line is out the door. This location is pretty small so when you have a bunch of teenagers in there it gets overwhelming. Overall I love coming here and the oat meals are AWESOME!!!! read more

WORST STORE EVER. I work in the plaza and just wasted 25 minutes of my lunch, waiting for my WRONGLY MADE DRINK. Look, I understand the service industry quite a bit, so im very understanding about having to wait, but seeing people walk in way after me get their drinks before me, pisses me off. First, the girls working there are rude and refused to give me my receipt, thats fine. I get its busy. Second, we walked in before the rush, and they are just making drinks NOT in order. Third, she asked me THREE TIMES what size my drink order was, I said "medium" (that's fine, its busy), and she replied with throwing the drink on the counter and saying bye. Not a problem, but she refused to give me a medium saying we ordered a small and wouldn't talk to me. I feel even if I did, the go to move would be to upgrade it to a larger size anyway. This is the slowest restaurant I have ever experienced in my life. They had four people working and it took them over 15 minutes to complete my order during my work break. This has happened several times and when I asked for a refund twice this last time during my visit, it took them forever to figure it out. I was worried I was going to violate my 15 minute break period so I had to leave without getting my order or a refund. Absolutely not acceptable.
