My large coffee
Sarn T.

Location: This coffee spot is a nice location - close to downtown, el camino, parking and farmers market on Saturday. You get a friendly hello when you walk in.. from somewhere in the store. I commend the person who does this because I imagine it could be exhausting after the 15th time. Wait: The wait to order took 5 minutes and there wasn't anyone else in line... just me waiting on the staff. Drink took a little over 8 minutes, so it was fast. Looking for a place to wait for your drink may be difficult. Very limited space to wait for your drink. I guess my name is hard to pronounce, the barista that made it didn't even try calling my name out. I had to ask if the drink was mine. Coffee: the coffee is good -- good balance of coffee and sweetness without the over encompassing coffee punch. I like their ice coffee more than I like Starbucks. I ordered the ice brewed oat milk but the amount was horrible. See attached picture. how come my cold brew is missing 15% from the top and that's me counting the foam too. Summary: good location, wait time sucks, and good coffee. I've been here a few times -- mornings, weekends, and noon -- and the wait seems to be the norm. I'll try a few more times to see if I just come on bad times. Hoping to give a better review, If not, I guess I'll just travel a little further for Philz or Starbucks. Large Coffee

I ordered three beverages. I ordered a large coffee, small fruit tea shaker (strawberry lemon), and a small chai latte with oat milk. I tried to use my credit on the app and the cashier said that I had no credit , but that's not what it said on my end. I was in a hurry and also didn't want to hold up the line. I just paid instead of using my credit. The large coffee dripped all over the place. There was a leak at the bottom of the cup. It made a mess. The coffee and the chai latte was hot. The fruit tea was refreshing.

If you go to Pete's Coffee, I feel that you're going for one of two reasons. Either you are nowhere near another coffee place/Starbucks and want coffee right away OR you want a more relaxing, soothing environment to enjoy a cup. I like this place for the second reason, but came here for the first. It's such a nice change of pace compared to Starbucks. The environment is peaceful. It's how I imagine a cup of coffee should be at home without any kids or distractions. It also makes for the perfect place to get some studying or work done. The variety of menu items is limited in regard to drinks. They offer the basics of coffees and teas. They also have hot chocolate. If you like extravagant drinks or frappuccinos, I would not recommend it. If you're looking for a simple cup of coffee, perfect. The staff behind the counter were very helpful and relaxed. It was a very personal and welcoming experience. The hot chocolate I ordered was good and served with a healthy helping of whipped cream.

First off the coffee is great 1 star for the horrendous customer service, Not only are they non existant when one asks for help, but the younger white guy making the drinks is downright threatening and passive aggressive, i asked him if my order was ready and he told me "to wait my turn or else" , what did he mean by that ????? I left fearing for my safety and plan to never come back. I will be sure to contact corporate regarding this matter.

I wasn't sure when I'd get a chance to come back since I don't live nearby, so when I joined a book club meetup and found out it was being held here, I was so excited! I love how many different seating options they have. There are indoor and outdoor tables, a grassy area, and even swings, they really have something for everyone :) They also offer yoga classes in the outdoor area, and it looks like they regularly have different activities and events going on based on the posters they have up. As for the coffee, there's a cute little walk-up counter where you place your order, and they call your name when it's ready. The staff was really friendly, and I thought it was a great idea to have all the event and activity information displayed right by the ordering area. My latte was excellent, and I love that they offer ceramic cups if you're staying to enjoy your coffee there. I honestly loved the vibe of this place. It has such a welcoming, wholesome, community feel, and I can't wait to come back again :)

I saw they had a Seasonal Menu, so I tried the Strawberry Matcha Oat Milk Latte. I had to wait a couple of minutes for my drink and it tasted just okay. I finally had the pleasure of going here, and it wasn't too busy. The person who took my order was super nice and helpful in narrowing down items to try. Everything here is made to order, so they do recommend using the app. Especially if you are in a hurry. I ordered: 1. Vietnamese coffee with salted cream: Surprisingly, this was a little sweet to me. I do recommend sipping it, instead of drinking it through a straw to get the full flavor. 2. Croffle w/ nutella: This was crispy and chewy. The nutella gave it a messy yumminess 3. Egg, cheese, and bacon croissant: This was delicious and surprisingly it didn't have that greasy oily feeling. It is very hearty. 4. Perfect green smoothie: My co-worker loved this and found it very delicious. Perfect balance of all the items. I look forward to coming back soon and will pre-order next time.

Brew Coffee and Bakery was within a nice walking distance from my hotel so I made the short 15 minute trek over. There's a good amount of space inside to sit and enjoy your beverage, but seems like most of the people in the morning was here to grab something to go. We were able to catch up for a good while without feeling like someone needed our table or that we were overstaying our welcome here. I tried the regular size of their Iced Hojicha Latte ($7). Yum. Loved the taste and it was just the right amount of caffeine I needed to start my day of travel and heading home!

Oooh - my new favorite brunch lunch spot in downtown Redwood City!!…read more I love a place that has both good coffee and tons of food options. So many delicious fresh food options. We loved that each dish came with the freshest bread, you can see them making fresh bread in the open kitchen. The breakfast sandwich was perfect. You can get it with either bacon or avocado. The turkey sandwich was also excellent - that sun dried tomato jam that it came with was to die for, I wish I could bring a jar home to put on bread! I enjoyed migraine salad that came with kale, farro, squash, feta. Again loved the crisp fresh bread it had on the side too ! Granola bowl was great - with fruit and homemade Granola, personally I like that it wasn't too sweet like there wasn't a honey or sweetener drizzle. Coffee and espresso drinks were very good , will definitely be back to try more dishes ! There was a constant line to order, but from ordering to getting food wasn't too bad at around 20 minutes . Table seating indoor is limited with the amount of customers they have, but there is also some indoor bar top seating along the kitchen and more outdoor tables.

I've purchased a little spider plant and an alocasia polly, which have both been great. The employees are knowledgeable about plants and give great recommendations, especially regarding succulents. They also have a fun selection of cards and gifts by local artists, although some of the prices are a bit unreasonable (like $40 for a tiny planter pot). The coffee shop is fine, but less exciting. Most recently, I tried the Bicerin off their seasonal specials, which was a Cortado with Nutella. I thought the Nutella would be somewhat mixed in for sweetness, but it was literally just a teaspoon of Nutella in my drink. I've tried their Chaga Matcha in the past, and it was also just okay. Will return for the plants and ambiance!

My first time here but my girlfriend who was visiting from Texas has eaten here recently while flying through to see her brother. This place very close to SFO airport so a great place to have breakfast Brunch or Lunch before picking up or dropping off at SFO as only 12 to 15 min based on traffic. THE FOOD: Cortado 10/10, Ice Tea 9/10 Flat White 8/10 (from Australian in our foursome) Hot Chocolate 9/10 Mixed salad Amazing. Soft boiled eggs perfectly cooked and balsamic on point. They have great sourdough served with delicious jam. We also had the prosciutto fig and goat cheese which was 10/10 and our friend from Texas enjoyed her GF Sammie. Husband had the Tuna Melt which he said 9/10 only because of the bread, he said 10 if he's had it on the acme sourdough ;-) Next time... The Place: Great location with lots of parking but not this past Sunday as huge event in town but in general loads of street and lot parking near by. Quaint seating inside and outside seating on both sides of this corner location. You order inside and seating is first come first serve so I imagine depending on the time of day it could be hard for any groups over 4 Employee Interaction: Super until the last person we interacted with. You order inside and they bring stuff out as made which is just the nature of busy brunch place. For example we had food come out in staggered spurts which is what you expect so as a example our friend who ordered first (10 min before us ) got her fig Sammie first but we got half our drinks first. Our food was staggered over a 15 min period also very expected at this type of brunch place. The problem came when the lady would brought the last food item the GF item and she said hey are we missing anything and I said yes my cortado and friend who ordered 10 min before we did so half and hour ago said she never got her hot coco. She was Super polite and brought them pretty quickly . We said thanks for finding them for us and she lectured us on how busy they are etc etc and were like WHOA THERE we did not complain although my friend could have as he drink came after she had eaten and 30 min after she ordered and yet we never complained. My complaint is with this staff members attitude, and I "assume" it came from dealing with folks expecting the food or drinks to all come out at same time and thats not how these types of places work. WE GET THAT and again it would have been a 5 had we not been lectured after thanking her for hunting down our drinks ;-) Will I be back SURE the food was great
