Prices for Jamba are expensive though...Luckily I used a $10 voucher gift card from my work but wow a small is basically $10 after tax. Loved the cute Jamba merch tumblers for sale and my smoothie the mango-a-go-go was good per usual. The store was clean and I loved the cute banana wet floor sign, however with the high prices this is not a place I see myself going when even emerald smoothie is much cheaper in comparison and you can get a large. Nice and convenient location near the mall and movie theater. Parking is easy and nearby. read more

Smoothies are really good I always like to stop here when I'm in the area. It can be pretty busy so wait times can be up there sometimes. My main complaint is when I get a large they don't tend to fill it up all the way which can be kind of disappointing. I won't be upgrading sizes anymore, I recommend sticking to the medium or small. read more

It's probably not fair to rate a place that I haven't actually bought anything in here, but this is the reason why. I'd seen these places a ton of times and was curious about them. I wanted something different than what Sonic has to offer, so I downloaded the ap and decided to go to the Alderwood Mall location after having my lunch at Blazing Onion. I had an email for a smoothie at half price. I was floored when I walked in and saw that the price for a small smoothie is over $9! Yes, I could have saved 4.50 by getting it half price, but I was just so taken aback by the high prices that I left. The place wasn't that clean either and no one bothered to offer much assistance. Probably won't be back. But then again I've said that about places and have returned many times, so who knows? But seriously, it's just insane to charge the prices that they charge. I have no idea how they stay in business, but I'm sure being at the mall helps. Still pondering how their clientele (which looks to be teens and twentysomethings) can afford it. Absolutely ridiculous experience, first time ever at this location and this other guest and I stood in line for 10 minutes until I had to approach the team members to ask if anyone was available to help us. There were approximately 5-6 team members on the shift and not a single one of them looked up to greet us or let us know they'd be with us at any point. It was almost like we weren't even standing there. As soon as I asked about getting some help, I was met with "um....we're busy right now." LOL. Did a mobile order using their app - ordered a smoothie and a breakfast sandwich. When I arrived, my order was ready...I had a little time to kill so decided to eat my sandwich there. The sandwich itself was surprisingly tiny (slightly bigger than AirPods) for which they charge $4. But I was more shocked that they gave me a burnt sandwich. They heated it up, saw that it was burnt, then put it in a bag and gave it to me like nothing was wrong. I asked for a new one and they didn't seemed surprised. I had been staying far away from this disgusting jamba juice location as its always unsanitary and they always mess up orders. That being said...when my birthday rolled around and I was rewarded with a free birthday smoothie in the app, I decided I would give it another try since this alderwood mall location is the closest one to my house. I immediately regretted my decision upon walking into a huge mess. After waiting in the line, I ordered a small smoothie and scanned my app asking to redeem the offer for my birthday reward. The employee said they could redeem my $1 off but couldn't figure out how to redeem my freebie. I was very annoyed and said nevermind, I would order it and redeem my own code on the app. So I waited in line for nothing because the employee was incompetent and l didn't know how to select the offer. Google says this place is open until 9pm, which it's not, at least on Saturdays. Even so, we showed up at 7:50, ten minutes before eight. Plenty of time to whip up two simple drinks. The kid at the counter was purposefully being as rude as he could be. Gave us attitude for being in at 7:50. "We're here as long as you're here." Well, Google says you're open til 9pm Champ, so oops. When I thought of Jamba Juice before today, I would think of a fresh citrus smell and friendly faces. After my experience today, I will forever associate Jamba Juice with long waits and disappointing sips. The single worst service experience I've witnessed anywhere ever. The employees LOCKED the doors and rejected over 20 customers in the span of 30 minutes because they "couldn't take any more orders". Note that this was at 2:00pm on a Sunday and they weren't supposed to close until 6:00. The customers that had been able to order before the lockdown sat inside awkwardly while other potential customers tried to open the now locked doors over and over. They continued to keep the doors locked when there were no customers left with orders in the store because "they had nothing prepped". Pure comedy to witness but a total disaster. Ordered my usual Acai Primo bowl and felt reluctant/ skeptical when a young, frail high school boy assembled my order. I thought, "Well there goes my $6!" He kept calm, too calm, taking too much time --relative to my time and loss of patience. Little did I know this would be THE BEST acai bowl I've ever had from Jamba. This kid turned out to be the Kung Fu master of all Jamba Juice employees --so much that I almost, ALMOST had the energy to go back there and commend him in person. The fruit and toppings, heavy handed, filled all the way to the lid --just the way I've dreamed of. The blend of acai and ice --a perfect, thicky thick texture when all other times it had been watery/slushy and depressing. The banana slices --beautifully placed one by one. Jamba, I love you so! I'm so happy they brought back the weight burner boost! The flavors of smoothie are so very unique. I love the cold buster and the Matcha Green Tea. I also love the selection of snacks offered. Kind Bars and pop chips are some of the pre-packaged snacks you can purchase. But, the acai bars and waffles look pretty tempting, too. I can't remember his name (as I am terrible with names), but I've met him twice and he has so much energy and passion for what he does. He told me he's been working for Jamba for ten years. I mean, crazy right? He's full of suggestions, and he is generous. He makes me much more excited for my smoothie than I already am. While I am a sucker for an orange dream machine, I've been trying to make better smoothie choices, and I definitely think jamba delivers in variety and an evolving menu. When one of the girls went to pick them up from the store, the person who helped her told her to never do that again, because ordering several smoothies on a hot day during busy time is an inconvenience to them. In a recent visit to Alderwood Jamba, I ordered wheatgrass. I was told the wheatgrass was dried up and I wouldn't want it. I asked to see the wheatgrass and the person who said the grass was all dried up went to get the wheatgrass from the back and then showed me a full flat of fresh beautiful wheatgrass. She then said the grass was moldy and proceeded to dump the whole flat of fresh nice grass into the garbage. When I asked to talk to the manager, she said she was the manager. They're made with powdered milk base of something else that you probably don't want to think about too much in lieu of sherbet. So don't fool yourself into thinking this is healthy- it's a treat. But the menu boards were so confuzzling, I said "Actually, ive never been here before, so maybe i do need help" **Cue the amazed expressions and responses** So, after explaining some stuff and making a reccomendation or two, i decided on a 100 percent fruit mega mango with an antioxidant additive. I was in need of some serious detox. While the guy buzzed my fruit in the blender, he procceded to have a shouted conversation with me, about the heavy fog this morning. I told him it reminded me a lot of the movie "The Mist". She informs me that it's a store policy they can't accept anything more than a $20. My change would have been $24.13 (a $20 and 4 $1's). What a stupid policy. In all fairness, she did give me another option. I could go to Starbucks and ask them to break the $50. Don't ask other stores to do a function you should be doing yourself. Normally I'm really impressed with Jamba Juice, especially recently because they have added an entire "juice" menu in addition to their smoothie options. I waited patiently near the register until the girl was done. It looked like she was the only one working, which I thought was odd because it was late afternoon and there were about six other customers in the store. Oh well, she was quick and friendly enough getting to me. My excitement was quickly extinguished when she informed me that their juicer was broken. Isn't this place called "Jamba JUICE"?! No thanks, I don't want a carb/sugar loaded smoothie. I don't think I've ever walked out without getting anything before. Had some shopping to do so I stopped by this store right before entering Alderwood Mall. I remember our awesome soon to be departing Yelp ambassador Katie S. starting a thread about free lunch be offering at select Jamba locations with this location being one of them. I ordered a razzmatazz frozen drink (very yummy) and they added a free immunity boost to go with it. After paying for the drink I see two guys handing out free food. Had your choice between a Greek salad, some other sandwich served on a Focaccia type bread and 4 different types of wraps. I tried the Asian Chicken wrap in a tomato tortilla. To make this short and sweet I appreciate the free food but I will never make a special trip just for the food. It was a average sandwich at best. If this review was about food only I would give it two stars, but the frozen drink was very good. It was a good sandwich because it was free because of the promotion but I doubt I would ever order it again or make a special trip for the food. read more

I remember watching Artie Lange on a talk show once talking about his drug addictions. He said he just wasn't the kind of guy who you'd see at Jamba Juice and I kind of laughed. I've never used drugs or alcohol in my life and Jamba Juice is one of the more likely items in my diet to kill me at some point. It's so delicious. I've been a customer since they were Zuka Juice 20+ years ago and I still have a Zuka Juice mug even. In my 20's I could pound a couple of larges a day, which equates to a metric butt-ton of sugar. I've had to slow down dramatically but this is still my families favorite go-to refreshment on a hot summer day. I've had nearly everything on the menu and it's all delicious. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Surf-Rider which was once known as the "Strawberry Tsunami" but was renamed after the tsunami in Thailand 12 years ago out of a misplaced sense of sensitivity. They've tweaked the recipe a little bit in the past couple of years and made it even better, removed the bananas and made it a bit more tart. I used to order it without the bananas anyway and I'm guessing I'm not the only one since they made an official change. The way they do it now is perfect. My second favorite is the Aloha Pineapple. These days, I'm older and their large isn't nearly as "large" as it once was so I can indulge occasionally without sending myself into a diabetic coma.
