The restaurant is well lit and the decor is truly incredible and inviting. The music wasn't too…read moreloud either which allowed for conversation which was nice. The service was excellent and our server was attentive. Went there for their fried chicken which was highly recommended but was not a fan. The chicken is under seasoned and dry. Even with the dipping sauce it needed more flavor. Didn't even take a picture because it wasn't that good looking either. It was underwhelming to say the least. However, the biscuits were DELICIOUS. Crisp and amazing with butter and jam. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as well which were tasty and crunchy, they came with tasty goat cheese and some sauce, while I do wish there was a bit more sauce it was still a great choice. The Mimosa flight was good but it wasn't anything special, I do wish for the cost that there was a bit more going on or even bigger portions. Overall good place to go with a good variety of options.

We started with the biscuits, which came out hot and fresh. These were so delicious and buttery, and the peach and blueberry jam took them to the next level. My husband and I both had the mountain morning bowl. To me, this is a perfect breakfast! Goat cheese grits, crispy potatoes, egg, a little spice...YUM. The other members of our party also loved their meals. I can't wait to come back and try more!

She listed off all the daily specials and I'm so glad she did because the Croque Miss was a GREAT breakfast sandwich! The coffee and chai were some of the best I have had in a long time! The vanilla latte was made iced with oat milk and it was just sweet enough, something about the espresso beans just made it all blend together so well!! The chai was house made and it was SO great, like Christmas in a mug, just phenomenal. The food is different from other breakfast spots around Omaha. The croque miss was the breakfast sandwich special and it blew all other sandwiches out of the water. Thick bread, Dijon mustard, ham, and topped with 2 eggs! WOWOWOWOWOOWOW!! It was so complex and the flavors blended so well together! The only thing I wish there was more of was ham, just one more slice would have been great! The brioche French toast was thick, fluffy, and sweet. I loved the cranberries on top, another dish with great complementing flavors. The space itself is inside the Film Streams, it can seem funny walking into a theater and not going to see a movie but wow is it worth it! There are floor to ceiling windows to let in the beautiful natural light, plants all over and you can get your coffee to go here if you'd like! Lola's is definitely my new go to breakfast spot!

She liked it but said it would have benefited from a vinaigrette or sauce. The bread with both dishes was so delish! The chairs were a bit uncomfortable if you sit by the window but nothing major.

Service Communication…read more Food Valentine's Day...of course they are packed! No worries. They inform us the kitchen is behind and may be a slight wait for our reservation. No worries! Seated within 15 minutes so not bad at all. Place is packed. Tables that were seated after us have a server. Hmmm. About 10 minutes after being seated our server shows up. Very nice but hurried. The other tables were asked if it was their first time; talked about the menu for the evening etc. again, not a huge deal. Drinks were great..an old fashioned and a black Manhattan. I'm assuming it was a manager who came over and apologized for the delay in getting our dinners. Again, we let them know we were not in a hurry. We get the craziness of Valentine's Day. But let's get to the food...did they remove all the seasoning from the kitchen??? Our Brussels sprouts were undercooked and little to no flavor. The steaks had absolutely no seasoning and the mashed were like paste. We had to ask for salt and pepper. Why can't they just put it on the table? My prime rib was blood rare which I talked to the server about before I ordered and said I would like medium and he said they could. Oh and no horseradish sauce like it said on the menu. The saving grace was I had the French onion soup which was terrific. Like I said, knowing how crazy it is on Valentine's Day, we expected a wait. But after waiting quite a long time for our food, I think they could've made sure it was cooked and seasoned properly.
