If you are driving out here from Omaha it's about twenty miles, so forty round trip. I'd imagine the smoothies are pretty amazing. This is the first Jamba in the Omaha area EVER. I've been drinking smoothies from Jamba for thirty years, in all states, at stand alone stores, in malls, at airports, wherever Jamba is sold.
EXCEPT at this Jamba/Auntie Anne's hybrid. My daughter and I roll in at 7pm. This Jamba closes at 8pm. We look at the smoothie menu for about five minutes, then go to place our order. We're told that they don't make smoothies past 6:30. The clerk was a little hesitant on his confidence in this time, so it could very well be 6:15 or 6:25...who knows.
Needless to say, I checked the store's hours on the door, which said 8pm. Online it said 8pm. So, I'm guessing 8pm is when they should stop serving smoothies. Forty-plus miles for nothing. Imagine McDonalds not serving their fries after 6:30, or Dunkin' Donuts not serving donuts after 11am. People are coming to Jamba/Auntie Anne's for Jamba, not for pretzels.
Can I avoid giving a star if I couldn't get the product I was hoping to get from an establishment that states I can get a Jamba smoothie until 8pm?* I'd love to hear from their corporate office on this. Either explicitly state how late a smoothie is to be made, or make them until close.
I'll just continue to make my Peach Passion knockoff at home. Don't have to drive forty miles and it's always available.
