I have been coming here for 3 years and ordering the same thing from different employees and it has always been consistent. They discontinued my drink for a short while but when several people wrote in, the owners brought back the Matcha Green tea on the secret menu. The staff is always friendly and even asks how my day is. Today Conrad asked me "What are you looking forward to today?" The store is always very clean, and bright, no clutter, I see them washing the utensils and blenders in between, and since I'm severely allergic to gluten this is extremely Important to my poor gut. When my kids get their baked goods they are always fresh and it seems their breakfast menu seems to keep growing. They do offer a row of gluten free snacks too like Kind bars, popcorn etc.. -I like that they now offer a points based rewards club for frequent flyers lol, so every 3rd or 4th time I go in I get $3 off and when I fill out the survey on line, when the receipt prints one up (3 minutes) I get one free! Unlimited! Whether I'm on my way to work, or enjoying a day off, it always brightens my day walking into this place, so how could I not give them five stars! Completely disappointed with management and their catering system. For almost two weeks I have called in to reach a manager so that I could place a larger catering order, I'm talking about 300 servings. Constantly, I am told that the manager is not in and that if I leave my information she will get back to me... Sadly, after four messages, still no response from her. I'd like to start by saying I never write reviews but this one really bothered me. I Had a mobile order placed at 11:48AM and we received a notification that it was ready at 12:00PM. We mobile order because we only get an hour for lunch. We did not leave our office until 12:00. Got to Jamba Juice at 12:16PM and I told the young man blending smoothies our name for the mobile order - 2 smoothies, no substitutions. Simple. He goes to look in the freezer and comes back empty handed. Scrolls on the computer screen clearly looking for our order and NO WORDS were said to me at all. Zero communication. I then give it two mins to see if maybe another employee was going to grab my order. No one did. Then I asked him about our order since he hasn't said anything to me. He proceeded to say he didn't have an order for the name.. But he didn't communicate this earlier!? The lady next to him asked to see the phone with the order on it, I go out and grab my coworkers phone which the order is on and show her. She then says "I'll get started on this right now". No apologies but I'm thankful she finally started our drinks even though they should have/were supposed to be ready 30 mins ago. We received our drinks that were "ready for pickup at 12:00" at 12:30PM.. very disappointed in the customer service as it was on them for not having the order ready 20 mins earlier and no apologies or acknowledgement of our order being 30mins late. Out of all the Jamba Juices I've gone to (and that's a lot of 'em), this one is probably the best. The line's never too long, the music's always good, the service is quick and there's ALWAYS parking. This is one of the better Jamba Juice locations in Santa Cruz. The teenaged staff is friendly, cheerful, and not plastic. As an added bonus, the wait is seldom very long for a smoothie, even when they're busy. I love how efficient this Jamba Juice is. The staff here is always very quick to take your order and it always seems that you never have to wait too long for your drink. I was helped by two employees today and I wanted to say what a great job they did. It was close to closing time and there were several people ordering or waiting for orders. Two teenaged guys were being quite loud and obnoxious, and trying to talk to everyone in the store. But, the employees handled everything really well. The line moved quickly; they didn't act overwhelmed, but rather were very patient and friendly with everyone; and we all received our orders quickly, too. This is a VERY busy location. With that said, the employees work very hard and fast to get you your order in a timely manner. They are nice and friendly to boot! My only issue is ordering online (which I don't think I'm going to do anymore). Today is the third time I have ordered online and the order did not come through right. The first two times I suspected that my drinks did not have the 3G energy that I usually add to my orders because I definitely did not feel that "boost" after I drank them. My friend who I got a drink (with the supposedly added 3G) noticed too. She also had made an online order the other day and one of her food items ordered incorrectly. I don't mean to be nit picky, but when I went in today and my order for one of their "bowls" was ready in a cup (bc apparently the online order said I wanted no toppings, when in fact I wanted three...), I was a little annoyed. This is probably the worst location of Jamba Juice I've ever been to. Every time I've been in here lately they take over five minutes to take ANYONE'S order no matter how long the line (even if I'm the only one in the store) and there are multiple people working and glancing at me while I stand patiently waiting to be greeted and asked my order. The staff seems to never be doing what they're supposed to do first, which is tend to the customer. Last time I was here it took me an hour just to get one small smoothie.
