I came back here and tried the tacos to see if anything has changed. These are still the best tacos I've eaten to this day!

I first realized this place was awesome when I saw the parking lot full and smelled the onions steaming out of the top of the restaurant. I had to check it out. Fantastic Mexican Street Tacos! The guy at the grill is amazingly fast too, he, almost like a little show as he bangs his tongs all over the grill. You can tell he's been doing it for a while. This is the BEST convenience store in Plano, and inside is the BEST tacos. The convenience store has great prices and a huge variety of items. Then the tacos, I cant get enough of these tacos! There are many taco places around but they cannot even touch these tacos. Everything is grilled right in front of you, and everything is fresh. read more

Eh it was ok. True hole in the wall and it looks gross inside. Steak tacos are the best ones. Chicken tacos are ok. Dont bother trying the other ones. Kind of wish we got 2 tacos at Jamals then went next store to other taqueria.... Just to see if they were better. read more

They now serve more than tacos and take cards instead of just cash. They do, however, charge a credit card fee based on the amount of your purchase. I had 3 barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. They are quite tasty with the sauce, but without it, they are a bit bland. I have yet to try anything else but I will soon! Drinks must be purchased on the convenience store side before drinking at the restaurant. read more

The tacos here are great. They're cheap. They're delicious. The fajita tacos had flavorful may and fresh cilantro and onions. The hot sauce is not too spicy but has very good flavor. We also bought and won on a lottery ticket scratch off that we purchased here while we waited on our food (which came out fast). Good place to try if you're I the area. read more

One of the best I've had so far in Dallas. Delicious tacos at a great price!! Their tacos can sometimes be a little too greasy when they're busy, and they're cranking out a lot of them. But other than that, this place is worth a short drive. read more

Wow....the tacos I've craved for years are a mile from my house! Amazing.

Their tacos are the bomb, and the green salsa has the right spice. Mix that with some grilled jalapeños and you have yourself a couple of tears coming out of your eyes. Not from the spice, but from the pleasure and joy these tacos brings to senses of smell, taste and sight. read more

This is the definition of a hole in the wall. We drove by one day and completely judged a book by it's cover. When I got home I looked up its yelp and saw that it had amazing ratings, so naturally I had to try it. These are some of the best street tacos I've been able to find in Dallas and I absolutely love them! If you are even thinking about getting tacos near Plano or Richardson, I urge you to go here and get the al pastor tacos! 5 or so should do the trick. read more

The only thing holding this place back is that its not really a sit down place. They have two picnic tables to eat there, but at the end of the day, is a Convenience store. However, do yourself a favor, and don't let that stop you from trying the tacos! I got the beef fajita tacos and they were AWESOME. I love the street style tacos with the onions and cilantro on fresh corn tortillas. I have only tried the fajita (beef) so far, but they were awesome! I also like Pastor, so I am going to try a couple of those next time. They even have the Cokes that are made from pure cane sugar for sale in the store to complete the experience. I have had Fuel city tacos, and tacos from other places in Plano, but none were as good as these. Bring cash as they do not accept credit cards at the Taco stand, but I think there was an ATM in the store, and the store itself does take cards for purchases of drinks. The people at the taco stand didn't speak the best English, but I had no problems ordering what I wanted so it was not an issue to me. They were very friendly and helpful and the food was awesome. Just wish they had a little more seating, and some chips and salsa to go with it. read more

This is really a great place. The food is at an awesome price which is $1.15 per taco. It comes with a good verity of options: barbacoa, chicken, beef, pork, and tongue. The flavors I'm sure are authentic, mainly because it's a hole in the wall place. The tacos are freshly made right in front of you. The flavors are spicy. The meat is flavorful. All tacos come with fresh cilantro, onions, salsa verde, and a red sauce I'm not sure the name of. My personal favorite is pork. The meat has the best flavor and the right amount of spicy. Parking is terrible. Just to let anyone who goes know and do not park next door. It's a bad idea. read more

I've driven by here for years. I stopped by on a friends recommendation. Authentic street style tacos with good amount of filling and taste for the price. I had beef, chicken and barbacoa with onions cilantro and lime. The onions were perfect and sweet. Meats were well seasoned and perfect with red and green sauce. Cash only. Plenty of beverage selection in the cash only convenience store. I'll be back to this hidden hole in the wall. read more

Cheap dollar tacos! Authentic! Pretty damn good! How they got the name? Beats me but who cares! Its good and i dont have to drive all the way to Paisanos in Lovefield, the true ghetto, to get real tacos. Not a great neighborhood but at least you wont get shot at or bombarded by guys asking for tips when they show you where to park. Lol. read more

They are the best. Don't let the outside fool you. Better than any other taco place in the metroplex. It is full all of the time for a reason. Get to go. The staff is friendly but task focused. If you are looking to be waited on hand and foot this is not the place. They only have tacos ! Way better than Torchys, and 25% of the price. No $5 tacos here ! Cash only I believe. read more
