Sometimes even turn on a phone to take it. Counselors barely listen and take everything as a way to not care. This school ruined my middle school experience that I was genuinely excited and getting ready for. It was overall just a problem in my life that I couldn't fix without getting people involved (including problems). If you are a parent, genuinely rethink before taking your child here. It will stress them out or cause them feelings they can't explain, for some it's good but not all. People can also be so mean in this school, even teachers can be some of your biggest enemies. People are so racist not to mention teachers take pride in embarrassing students, seriously? Grow up. This school is so judgmental, for what? Every grade comes with at least 1 bad teacher, not to mention some even curse at their own students, hello? At your own grown age?

This school has shown a pattern of behavior that makes many students feel unwelcome and unfairly…read moretreated. Numerous students and staff have expressed that the administration often behaves disrespectfully and dismissively, especially toward members of the Chaldean community. Many Chaldean students at Valhalla feel that they are spoken to with unnecessary aggression, singled out for minor issues, and treated with less patience and understanding compared to others. This creates an environment where students feel targeted rather than supported, and it damages trust between the administration and the communities they are supposed to serve. Students deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued no matter their background and many feel that isn't happening here. Many teachers are very racist towards students as well always making Chaldean comments. This treatment towards the Chaldean students needs to stop. No other student gets treated as horrible as the Chaldean students at Valhalla High School.

Personal opinion about your kids is shared with others...and in front of your kids...as F the professionalize, who cares, teacher get to abuse their powers over little kids, totally normal. How a school with…read more3K kids all starting and ending at relatively the same time can have one entrance and exit is preposterous. Idc who you voted for (btw, we're democrats) or what God you pray to (btw, we're not religious).... we know a good school when we see one! Anyone who writes a negative review can take their kid to the low rated public school they live by. I mean...who writes negative reviews about schools!?!!??!! Unless you're paying for it! Charter schools are elective, and if you're unhappy with it, send your kids to the local public school, move, pay money for private school, or teach your kids yourself! Home school is an option if you think you can do better! Teachers are are under-paid and extremely undervalued. The administration…read moreconsistently fails to protect students who are being bullied and shows a troubling lack of understanding around mental health. Instead of addressing the behavior of documented bullies, the administration routinely shifts blame onto parents and punishes the victims. The principal, Mr. Tropp, demonstrates no accountability and has been openly condescending when legitimate concerns are raised. After assuring me he would conduct a full investigation into my son's bullying situation, he claimed to have reached a "conclusion" within hours. Our meeting began at 3:00 p.m. -- yet by 10:00 a.m. the next morning, he announced the investigation was complete. Considering school ends at 4:00 p.m. and doesn't reopen until 8:00 a.m., it's clear no thorough investigation took place. My son was repeatedly bullied, and only when he finally defended himself did the school take action against him, not the aggressor. The district seems more interested in protecting staff than protecting students. Parents deserve a school where safety, accountability, and genuine mental-health awareness are priorities. Unfortunately, this school has demonstrated the exact opposite.
