We held a party for my daughter recently, (turned 1) as we had done for my son the year before. He had a private party and had turned (4). Private parties start in the afternoon and for a bunch of toddlers that didn't work for a lot of peoples nap schedules. With that said I booked a shared party bc the time worked better. The young girls that ran the party were very helpful and attentive. They did a great job. However it was very chaotic. Since we had a party with the general public I had no problem sharing the play floor knowing that this, is indeed what I signed up for. However kids not from our party kept coming into the room. Standing in the line for face painting or eating food from the party room. Parents are so unaware of where their kids are it's crazy! Parents would then find their kids in the party room and would come in remove them. They were apologetic but it was annoying. This is a great place for a rainy day, but I wouldn't have a party here unless it was private. read more

We celebrated our son's third birthday party at Jam Time last week and it was perfect! I'd considered My Gym in Framingham and Planet Gymnastics in Natick, before deciding on JT. Compared to both those places (similar indoor play area concept), JT was much more reasonable and included party supplies and decorations which was perfect for a 3 year old's birthday party with 19 of his closest friends. We did not do a private party, which meant sharing the play area with other kids which was fine! Their two staff helpers knew exactly what needed to be done before the guests arrived. We just showed up with our food and they took care of the rest. They periodically checked-in with me during the party which was nice. They promptly packed up all our left overs without being asked. We vacated the party room at 11:30am but some of the kids continued to play in the play area and had a blast. I'm sure all the kids napped really well that afternoon. Thank you Jam Time! We are regulars there in the cold winter months but we highly recommend JT for all seasons. read more

I love having Jam Time as a local indoor play area and my boys are old enough to request it often! I had my twin boys' 4th birthday party there and everyone had such a great time. Perfect place for a winter event. One of my favorite things is it's a place where I knew that during potty training we won't run into trouble being at an outdoor playground without a proper bathroom. We had our daughter's 3rd birthday at Jam Time it turned out wonderfully! The space is large enough without being overwhelming for the tots. We opted to have a private party, so not to worry about sharing the play area and it was great! The staff were very friendly, helpful with setting up the extra items brought, and super swift in cleaning up as well. We added face painting and the coffee bar for the adults, Jam Time had a local pizza place delivery on time and find for the kids. We also had a nacho/taco/salad bar for the adults and kids as well. It was so much fun, though I didn't save as much money as I had hoped it was nice to not have to worry about: 1. safe AND clean play space for toddlers 2. comfortable space for adults 3. convenient location and no having to clean up We will probably come back next year, as long as our budget permits. My suggestion would be, offering guest passes to the party goers. Also, allowing a 30 min window to get all of stuff in and out of there/ we were a little pressed for time but thankfully no one was booked after us that day. No one in my group including us had ever been there, and we all would consider bringing the kids there to play. Our favorite place to play! We come two-three times a week for open play. Boy-15months and I take a music class on Fridays! Staff is amazing! They are friendly, helpful and always on top of our needs. They clean up toys and sweep/wipe off table multiple times throughout the day! I was originally going to give this place 4 stars. My 8 month old had a great time. Yes, parents are milling about, but that's because the staff don't do much. There were constantly older kids in the under 1 play area, but no big deal. About 5 days after we went, my son developed hand, foot and mouth disease. Now, I know this is a common thing in small kids, and there are other places where he could have contracted it. But this is the most likely. And when you throw in the staff sitting around not doing anything (I'm guessing not cleaning that much) that leads to me only giving 2 stars. read more

The place itself is nice, safe, and fully stocked with a wide variety of toys that will keep the kids interested for hours. Love Jam Time! We have been going to Jam Time in Maynard, MA for the last month since our second son was born. Our oldest (19/mo) loves the indoor play space. We were excited to check out the new Natick location and haven't been disappointed! Lots of space to play, great seating all around, wonderful location & all the great amenities of the original Jam Time play space. Staff here are really nice as well. Lots of indoor wooden climbing areas with slides and the train set has been a hit. Even when "crowded" there is plenty of space to move around. I would recommend taking any little one here! It's a great space for parents to get something done (we wrapped a bag of Christmas gifts at the Maynard location last night while little man played) but be aware that each parent is in charge of their child. An important note for older or grabby/aggressive kids parents. Again, love it here!!!!! read more

This review is for the Jam Time in the Natick Mall. I took my two year old daughter. She had a lot of fun, but I wouldn't rush to bring her back. Several of the toys are not in the best shape. They have a toy baby carrier that was filthy and the straps were so worn they had broken off. My daughter was obsessed with it, so I begrudgingly let her play with it. But my biggest complaint is the bathroom. There is nothing kid friendly about it, especially for kids who are potty training. The sink is very high and there is no step stool. There is no potty seat to add to the toilet. Also, they do not enforce the mask rule for kids over the age of two. There were several kids that appeared to be around 4 years olds running around without masks on. One of which sneezed within a foot of us. At that point, we wrapped it up and left. This is a great place for kids and parents alike. There are a wide variety of toys and climbing structures to play with. Yes, you are exposing your kid to germs in places like this, but that's life. If you want to shield them from a germs you're gonna have to stay home or put them in a bubble. On rainy or snowy days that are too cold to go out, this place is key. Jam Time in Natick is a great place - clean, bright, variety of activities, friendly staff - but it simply gets too crowded to be comfortable during peak times. On the weekends, I have found myself shoulder to shoulder with fellow parents chasing around their excited tots, as well as confused adult friends and relatives of families hosting morning birthday parties, the latter who sort've step over children not involved in their party as if those kids aren't supposed to be there. And that's not great. I really don't understand reviews on here that blame the business for the actions/non-actions of the parents. One of the things I really appreciate about Jam Time is that the staff mostly let the parents and kids work things out for themselves. I have seen staff intervene where necessary, but usually everyone is able to work it out without policing. Imagine if staff jumped in every time there was a sharing issue? Please. It would be like a police state. The atmosphere here is relaxed and fun. It is a great place to meet other moms and dads, and know that your kid is safe and contained while you carry on most of a conversation. (And no, I'm NOT advocating ignoring your child completely to talk or check your phone.) Jam Time Natick is every bit as clean, comfortable and well stocked as its Maynard sister store. It seems to be a little bit less space, but I think they've optimized what they have brilliantly. I also like that the bathrooms are right in the space, which works great when potty training. My daughter especially loves the firehouse and the play loft. As in Maynard, you have the choice to pack your own food and eat it there, which I appreciate. If you can not pack your own, and are truly offended by the mark-up, 7 eleven is three doors down. We attended a FROZEN party at JT Natick this weekend, and had a blast! I know the event was sold out for weeks, but they did not over sell it, which I REALLY appreciated. It was just the right amount of kids. Everyone got a chance to talk to the princesses and get photos, and the crown crafts were awesome. Jam Time continues to be my favorite destination for play for my almost- three year old. The extreme mark up on snacks and beverages is a little insulting, I realize you have to recoup your expenses, but don't gouge so much and people will enjoy your business that much more ($2.40 for a moose shaped pen with your business logo??? There's lots of activities spread out for children of various ages. The area is well spread out with plenty of space for lots of children to play. The staff is friendly and seems to know all the clientele which shows they care about the families coming in to visit! It's fruitful environment allows for hours of imaginative play. Lots of comfortable seating available for the parents and a nicely spaced cafeteria for dining. It's also noteable that they are aware and take caution with food allergies. I have been to Jam TIme three times so far and have am so glad I found it. It is clean, close to home, and the staff is usually very friendly. I like that I can pack lunch to eat there (the tables, chairs, and high chairs are regularly wiped down - YAY!). After my first visit I decided to hold my son's first birthday there. Paula and Brynn did a great job setting up a BEAUTIFUL party room, keeping the play area tidy, helping to greet guests, collect gifts, facilitate transition to cake time, clean up, and collect extra food/gifts to go out to the car. They were friendly and easy to work with. As always, my kids (ages 1 & 4) had a blast playing and more than one mom who had not been there before commented on how clean and organized things were. My sister (new to Jam Time) said that Jam Time is so much brighter and nicer than other indoor play spaces in the area and I completely agree with her. All the kids (ages 1 month to 6.5 years) were able to have fun and stay busy for the whole time. I actually got to visit and enjoy my son's brithday. What a change from hosting a kid's party at home! I like this place a lot and we go quite a bit, especially on hot or rainy days. I want to love it, but there are a few things holding me back. It is a fantastic idea for a business - clean, organized (usually), varied play space. The location/parking is great too. However, the ages are supposed to be 0-6 and I often see older (re: more rambunctious, louder, faster) kids there. It also gets so crowded - I wish they would cap entry at a certain point or make it so one (not two or three sometimes) adult is admitted with each child. Most importantly, I wish the staff would be a little more on the ball with supervising the safe use of their equipment. I know this should be the job of parents, but unfortunately I see many parents (especially of older children) zoning out on their mobile devices, ignoring the throwing, pushing, yelling behavior of their kid. It would be nice if staff stepped in at those moments to avoid uncomfortable "Do I tell this kid to knock it off?" moments. I would even be in favor of a mobile device use policy, to be honest. We will probably keep going when outdoor play is not an option read more

We used to go to the Jam Time in Maynard which was a bit of a drive from Framingham, where we live. It was worth the drive to take advantage of the cleanliness, the staff, the events and just the fact that our kids loved it. We were thrilled to hear that they were opening one close to home. (Natick). And what perfect timing as our two boys were turning 2 and 4. We decided to have the Birthday there. We did not have to lift a finger! They did everything and did it well! The birthday room was set up like something out of a magazine. We had the Toy Story theme and it was just right. They provided cupcakes which everyone loved, had great pizza which was delivered right on time and had people helping with anything we needed. They provided the cutest Toy Story gift bags for the kids to take home. At the end of the party, they bagged up all of the presents and helped us bring them to the cars. It was a truly amazing experience for us and the kids. We will be doing it again! Worth every penny! Thanks Jam Time! read more

We visited for the first time today! We loved it! It get's a little busy and sometimes it's hard to move around but it's such a cool place. we didn't expect our kids to want to play for so long since they're young but we were there almost 2 hours!!!!! It's clean and there's A LOT to play with. This one is probably a bit bigger than other indoor playgrounds in the area. There were some kids that were probably too old for the bounce house. I originally gave this business a more favorable review but I am bringing it down to 1 star now because I gave them an opportunity to make it better and they refused. I am very disappointed with them insofar as the party for my 4 year old son. They are disorganized and don't deliver as promised. They messed up the number of pizzas, ok not a big deal but someone wasn't paying attention. I told them twice, once on phone, once on email, I don't want face painting. I walk into the party and they start telling me where the face painting was going to be done. I cut her short and said no face painting! Again, someone is not paying attention. I was promised a character visit by the moose which comes with all parties and a "special gift for the birthday child". I got neither! 4 days later when the nanager read my review on yelp she explained the "special gift" was a free pass for play time. No one ever told me that until I complained. The manager assured me the free pass was in rhe mail, along with 2 extras. It's been a month and I have an empty mailbox. My son was so sad he wanted to see the moose and was looking forward to it. "Oops we forgot"was the response I got. I asked the manager if I could at least have a refund for the part involving the character visit that didnt happen. She said no. So I wouldn't go to them for your party. It's not worth it. I understand mistakes happen but I gave a window for them to at least try to make it better but they didn't really care. read more

My son had so much fun! He didn't stop moving for a solid 2 hours. The first thing I noticed was that it was sooo clean! Love that! It's not too big, much easier to manage if you're there with multiple kiddos or if you want to chat with another parent and your kids want to play in different areas. My son is 2 and everything there is perfect for his age. Bouncy house, slides, doll house, climbing structures, big house you can go inside of, he loved it all. My son had a birthday party here and we go fairly regularly for free play. It is one of the only places in the area that is clean and about the right size to keep an eye on your active child. The staff are super friendly and also helpful in navigating situations that are particular for children (e.g., those with learning disabilities). I like the Maynard location, too, but the Natick one is even a little cleaner and more manageable in my opinion. Parents do zone out a lot on mobiles (myself included), but it's great to have a place that lets you do that! I WISH there were something like this closer to Newton/Needham! read more

It is a great little space for babies and toddlers. I wouldn't bring kids over 6. Weekends are way too crowded try to avoid it. Wish the hours where extended to 7pm (instead of 530). The reason I put 2 stars is because the girl with the blue dreadlocks who works there is so extremely rude ! Her attitude impacts not only the positives this place has but it impact our desire to visit more often! She has an attitude like no other (I personally think she hates her job) she doesn't even greet us she only asks "you have socks on today" Well, yes nice to see you too! But the final straw was yesterday when she started yelling at my 2 year old daughter for throwing legos on the floor because she was like "iam closing in 5 minutes!!" like any 2 year old would know that..!? Also my daughter took a crown from this other little girl and she went to her and said "give that back now" because I guess the other girl was a frequent there and she also watches her. This is a great place for small ones to play in a fun, safe environment. My daughter had her 5th birthday party here and it couldn't have been better! The staff was great and got the party set up quickly, including the extra decorations we brought. They met us outside and unloaded the car and kept the party moving throughout the time we were there. After the party started winding down, they cleaned up everything, packed up all the leftovers, and carried everything to the car. They even added balloons to our party favor bags for the guests to take with them. It was easy, and everyone had a great time, especially the birthday girl! read more
