He was really friendly and polite, and was incredibly careful with all the small details to ensure he finished every room perfectly. It's a bit like living in a totally different (and far more stylish) flat now they have finished. Rob is managing the build from the office, he always returns calls if he misses one, Fred (who writes the responses on here) is the the technical guy and knows his business well, and has come up with good ideas to improve the space and keep the build ticking along. The lads on site daily, have been courteous and clean, the scaffolding, shute and skip mean the garden is always tidy. The only thing holding up our build is the Oct wind and rain, mean we cannot remove the temporary roof. So far I have no concerns with the rip out (which I knew was going to be a nightmare due to the 90 years of abuse the house / plumbing and electrics have sustained over those years, the schedule of work is good and the staff are easy to talk to. The director has not called once to hassle me about anything and Im not sure I'll here from him at all. There is a 6 stage payment schedule of which we are at stage2, so no one should have ever paid all the money up front, as mentioned in one of the other reviews. Thus I can't agree with any of the 1 start ratings. Ill write another review once the work is complete.
