Quick and easy place to grab lunch. Chips for the table were fresh but salsa could've been fresher. I ordered the al pastor street tacos which were good texture wise but not a lot of flavor. Overall, solid prices and easy place to get in and out. Perfect for lunch. read more

The options for Mexican are less than ideal. If I had to choose a "best" option Jalisco is probably it but that's a pretty low bar. When you enter the space is congested, so if there are people waiting to be seated or people waiting on to-go orders it feels like you're in a NYC sub car. Looking up and there is caked dust on the fans, signs and lights. Orders have been wrong in the past. Solid Mexican influenced restaurant. This is my favorite Mexican-style cuisine in Perry. I always have the Chicken Chimichanga and they have yet to let me down. Usually when I go here, I'm on duty so I haven't had the drinks, but I had had the food on day shift and night shift, and the quality does not change. The waitstaff is always very kind and even allow me to try out my Spanish on them when I come in. They usually have a steady crowd here. I see teachers and a lot of other folks from the community here. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I highly recommend eating here if you like this style of food. read more

This was my first time here, and the service was horrible. I love to go to Mexican restaurants and I order the same thing all the time . So i know what im ordering .This will be my first and last time. I ordered the Texas Fajita Quesadilla, and I received my food, and I was like, where's the peppers and onions. The waiter says it doesn't come with peppers and onions. WHAT !! The key word was fajitas. Never have I been to a Mexican restaurant like this before. Then the waiter doesn't ask if you need anything. I asked for napkins 3 times and never received them. We had to keep flagging the waiter down to get service. SMH . Then I talked to the manager and he was no help. I'm like most restaurants see that you haven't eaten your food they come and ask is everything OK or would you like a to-go box. Food was ok. The steak burrito I had was loaded with more veggies than steak and was kind of watery. The cheese dip was good but the chips didn't taste fresh. I hate to leave a bad review - Ordered for pick up. The front desk person was super nice, and order was fast. That's what the 3 stars is for. However - the nachos barely had cheese and had no beans. It was ground beef and it was very bland. The burritos had steak in them per my request. But it was fatty chewy steak. And it's a set of 2 small tortilla burritos instead of 1 big one. Which they say on the menu. But I asked for everything inside and they put the cheese on top of both burritos. It's just odd layout. I would be fine with this if it was delicious - but it seemed thrown together and missing flavor. It was ok. The steak torta was good but it was mostly bread. Again, steak quality was ok - on the fatty side. Chips and salsa came with the meal. Chips are typical (didn't taste home made) and salsa was good, prob the best part of the meal. This place has potential. If they had placed more food in the nachos, or had placed everything inside the burrito. I hope they make some changes. The place seemed empty for a Saturday. For $26 for a meal for two I'd expect better flavors and quality over quantity. read more

Out on a business run and hungry I arrived about an hour b4 closing time. Hard to find out where to sit because everyone was trying to clean and close. I was directed to the section by the door. They brought the underwhelming chips and salsa to the table then in about 5 minutes the menu arrives. I chose the burrito special and there was nothing " special" about it. Under seasoned steak, gross guacamole, topped with it looked like American cheese not cheese dip and a rotten tomato for a topper. Pretty hard to stomach it. Adios muchachos. Never again. read more

Stopped in on the advice of other reviewers. Our family loves Mexican cuisine and dine often at them. We started with the queso dip along with their salsa and chips. The salsa is like a marinara sauce in consistency with a bit of a spicy bite to it. Just enough heat to make my nose run. The queso dip was what we expected from other restaurants and had a good taste but not as fabulous as others had reviewed. My wife and children had the chimi's and said they were tasty but a bit on the small side. I had the Grande Burrito and they got my customizations to the "T". The steak was excellent and the rice was very good as well. I'd say one of the best flavored steak to date. The marinade they use is very good. The grill master did it justice too. As far as the service it was very good and they kept up on the salsa, chips and drinks easily. They all seemed friendly and the place was clean. I didn't visit the restroom which in my opinion tells a story. I can usually judge the cleanliness of the place by that. The menus felt a little sticky but I didn't feel that I had to use hand sanitizer like I have in other places. Overall this was a clean, friendly and very good place for Mexican food. I would visit here again if passing by at lunch and dinner. I didn't give it a rating of 5 because of previous experiences from other restaurants that most definitely earned it.
