Food was good but the texture of the jalapeño was horrible in my opinion, staff is kind though

I love this place! Great food with amazing prices! The floors and tables are clean. The staff is always nice, and welcoming! The music is not too loud so you can sit, eat or even wait for your order with a soft authentic experience. My family orders from this location only, we have become loyal customers. Rolled tacos or breakfast burrito with no beans but added potatoes are a must try! read more

The food is very average... Nothing to write home about and unworthy of a lot of talk. Go here if you are in a pinch and want better food than Taco Bell! read more

The best food of all time in my opinion is the shrimp burrito. I love the fact that the shrimp is big and juicy. There is rice and some kind of sauce that makes this burrito the bomb. I only wish there is a building here in Boise,ID I am even recommending you business to my friends and family right now. I miss eating at place after all these years. I give the restaurant a 100/10 a must eat Jennifer Sharp read more

When we first moved to Klamath Falls, we loved this place. Sadly, it's just not that great anymore. The meat in every dish we tried was bland and pretty tasteless. The service is slow and it takes forever. The tables are always dirty or there's no place to sit. I'm done giving them another chance. Don't waste your time or money going here when there are so many better options here in Klamath Falls. read more

I ordered by phone, carry out to be picked up at the window. Fast! I got combination #20 with carne asada taco and chips and salsa. Wow, I'll finish it tomorrow, so very good, large portions Excellent flavor, I couldn't have asked for more! I'll be doing this again! read more

Just a strip mall taco shop with great adobada tacos. I wish I'd had the appetite to try more things on the menu. Next time... read more

Been here twice, passing though town. Both times were great. Good food, good portions and very clean both times.

The staff was very nice. We got our food very quickly and it was very delicious. Thank you, jalapenos.

They added a $8 tip to my order. So basically they stole from me. I ordered to go and picked up my order. I signed my recept and left. My receipt says $31 and some change. Credit card charges $39 and some change. I went into the store to complain they told me I had to come back in 3 days to verify that the charges were real. So as of today 48 hours later I still have not received the money I'm old that was stol from me by their employee read more

Great food, great service, never had a bad meal or problems. Highly recommend. One of my favorite places in town

I got a California burrito with carne asada today at the Washburn location. It was bland, the asada was cooked so much it was mushy and had 0 flavor. I'm disappointed because it's usually pretty good. I don't what's going on but I think I'll just stick to the taco trucks. read more

The staff is friendly and courteous, the food is delicious and the seating is quaint. One thing they need to do is install fly strips, nobody likes flies in a restaurant! read more

Understand this isn't true authentic but it is delicious! However, they do have authentic menu items and I do HIGHLY recommend try them too! The portion to price is EXCELLENT! 5/5 must try. read more

Good Mexican food at a good price. The place is kept very clean and I love their shrimp burrito.

This place is amazing! We bought an $8 breakfast burrito and it was huge and loaded with meat and thinly sliced potatoes. I'm from Los Angeles and I've never had a breakfast burrito like this- reasonably priced and delicious! The burrito is not greasy at all and the taste- it was perfectly spiced. If you live in Klamath Falls or driving by- make sure to stop here. The staff are super friendly and the bathroom is clean. read more

It's pretty good. They do use potatoes a lot. But they're friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Reasonable prices.

Ordered the Oregon burrito, but was pretty disappointed. I thought this would be like a steak and egg burrito, but it was like the egg was a condiment, as this burrito was mostly scalloped and fried potato. The steak was under-seasoned. I would be ashamed if I were an Oregonian to call this an Oregon burrito. read more

We stopped in for dinner. The portions at this place are HUGE for the price. The downside is that two out of our three dishes were pretty bland. The rolled chicken tacos tasted like they were out of a frozen bag. The chili verde steak burrito was also pretty bland, but didn't skimp on the steak. The fish burrito was good and that's why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. They have a lot of dishes to choose from and perhaps others are better like the fish burrito. They also have a fixings bar that had some delicious pickled peppers and carrots that made our meals better. Overall you get a lot of bang for your buck at Jalapeños and I'd be willing to give it another try. read more

Quick and delicious food. Definitely worth coming here for lunch or dinner! Friendly staff, lots of tables to sit, salsa bar, food comes out quick and delicious! Would definitely return if I didn't live in California. read more

I have been eating jalapenos food since they had one opening by homedepot that i knew of at the time when i was 21.... I am now 38.... their food does not disappoint ever..... great costumer through the years. I am just happy for the brilliant consistency of satisfaction everytime read more

I ordered the Carne Asada burrito and my wife got the bean and cheese burrito. Both were huge. We really liked the salsa bar with the pickled carrots and radishes. We were visiting in the area and liked it so much. We went back a second time over the four days we were in Klamath Falls. read more

Pros: 1.) big portions 2.) quick service Cons: 1.) very mediocre food 2.) low quality ingredients 3.) use bad oil We've given them a try 2-3 times. Consistently low caliber. Very unflavorful food read more

New to Klamath Falls so I'm slowly making my way around town to try new places. I found this place looking through yelp reviews and I absolutely loved it!!! I ordered the California burrito and a drink came out to just under $10. The burrito was HUGE!!! There's no way I could of finished the whole thing- I tried because it was so good. The tortilla it comes on is delicious! California burritos come with potatoes inside of them, usually a place will toss in some frys but this place slices potatoes super thin and lightly fry them. Really good place! I definitely recommend it to anyone. Tried both locations. I liked the Washburn location better. read more

The food was authentic and tasty. The staff was friendly and the place is spotless - super clean!

Good taco joint in a strip mall by walmart. Jalapeno special burrito was the biggest fat chub I've held in a while. No length but it is one gurthy behemoth. The carne asada could use a touch more seasoning to it but it's a solid go to. Chips had good flavor. Rolled tacos, pretty decent but the chicken itself could also use a touch more seasoning. All in all the salsa bar can usually season up some missing salt. read more

I just love this place. I've moved out of Klamath but I always visit when I'm back in town. My favorite is the Machaca Burrito with just a little beans and hot carrots. Their salsa bar is great. Good food, good prices, good people. read more

A real taqueria literally behind a Taco Bell, you'll want to try this clean pleasant Oasis in Wal Mart land. They open at 7am which was great cause I was waiting for my car to be serviced. Just a couple dedicated breakfast items the huevos rancheros was an easy choice. Corn or flour tortillas was a choice and I wished had just gotten some chips because the eggs are on tortillas anyway. Next time. An almost overly generous wallop of sour cream topped it. Really delicious with the beans and rice, fresh salsa and radishes from the salsa bar. Recommended! read more

Got a a ground beef taco to check this place out. Maybe something else would have been better here (carne asada, pollo, etc) . This was not really a taco, just a shell with watery ground beef lacking much seasoning, would have been better to get a Del Taco, and half the price, but wanted to try it. meh..... read more

Great food for everyone, it has been a family favorite for birthday meals and just a quick dinner option! Very good food!

I don't care which one you go to their food is excellent. Love their breakfast burritos and crispy tacos. And I'm so grateful they have a drive through now so I go across town to get what I want. read more

It was packed so we decided to try this place. Carne Asada was good and the menudo was very good. Service was friendly as well.

We found this restaurant just before we turned into Del Taco. It's easy to miss since it's in a small strip mall next to Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm so glad we did! It's a true Mexican Taco Shop run be hispanics! Actually it's so much more. Very extensive menu. I had #14. That two beef tacos, rice and refried beans. The tacos were filled with carne Asada steak, not the typical ground beef. The toppings table was very expensive with limes several types of peppers, spiced carrots and more. Service was great. Even though you order at counter, they bring your food to your table. Restaurant was always very clean. read more

Good but not great because they did not have Carnitas. Torta was good and the staff was quite pleasant. Wish I had been able to try my gold standard for judging Mexican food for the first time. read more

All I can remember about this place is that they make sad burritos. Son's bean and cheese burrito wasn't folded properly and the cheese inside wasn't even melted. Even my son didn't like it and he ain't picky. First time in a long time he didn't finish his burrito. Husband's shrimp burrito was tiny and all it had inside was a little bit of shrimp and sauce. Nothing else. At least it was cheap. read more

Watch these guys carefully! Do NOT go out the door without VISUALLY verifying your order first. They sent me out the door with only half of my order that they didn't get right. I even verified my order number and items verbally when I grabbed it before leaving! When I called they expected me to drive all the back or accept a "credit". I'M NOT LOCAL!!!! read more

This place was just ok. The carne asada was under cooked and had no flavor. what they call fries are actually potato chips. Super disappointed to order carne asada fries and have them come with potato chips that get super soggy underneath all the stuff. The California burrito claimed to have fries in it too but nope potato chips again. I would rather eat Taco Bell. read more

I believe in giving chances to restaurants when mistakes are made. Especially now with small businesses struggling to keep the doors open. However, I have given Jalapeno's 2 chances so far. We order the Baja Burrito every time. First problem, we literally had 5 pieces of shrimp which is usually loaded with shrimp. Second problem, the ingredients looked as though they scraped the bottom of the pan, rice was dry, shrimp overcooked, very disappointed. Call me a fool, but we tried one more time, this time, they added lettuce to which is NOT a usual ingredient. I am done. Management/owners need to get it together. I am sorry, but we will not do business with Jalapeno's again read more

Came into town from Bay Area to visit. Gave these guys a try on night two of our trip and I'm glad I did. They say California has the best Mexican food but I've had a lot of Mexican food all over northern/central California and these guys are definitely in my top 5..... maybe even top 3 ever. Great flavors great portions vs California too wow. If you've never tried them please help yourself to some great food. read more

Stopped in last night for a couple of burritos (Baja & Carne Asada) , both of which were huge and had excellent flavor. Got a side of chips and pico which was good as well. The pico flavor was a little off which is hard to avoid this time of year with the lack of good tomatoes and limes. Looking forward to our next visit. read more
