My least fav elote:/ I'm no expert, but the mayo shouldn't be soured. However, mi mejor amiga y su familia enjoy the treats and iced/slushy drinks.

The first T&T in the USA. Located in Factoria Mall where the Walmart used to be. Flagship sized…read morestore with big bakery and cooked food selection, and a decent sized seating area outside the cashier lanes. The mall has lots of parking, but this Bellevue location gets pretty busy on the weekends so you might need to park further away. The US version looks and feels the same as the Canadian stores. Only thing is that stuff is more expensive compared to Canadian locations, although food being expensive is a general Greater Seattle area issue. I also feel like the Bellevue store has less discounts for food items compared to the smaller Lynnwood store, which makes sense given the Bellevue store is busier and is in a wealthier area. T&T is not going to be the cheapest Asian supermarket, but they are bright, clean, and a good selection of cooked food and bakery items of decent quality. Not perfect by any means, but T&T is the best Chinese supermarket chain in the Seattle area.

I cannot wait for them to build more T&Ts in the East Bay. This is the first one we've been to in…read morethe US, and it did not disappoint. Our visit there was similar to other Asian grocery stores, but pretty much in all ways better. In my opinion, the biggest differences are: Made to order food - we had Jian Bing (Crepes) and Sticky Rice Rolls that were both delicious. These could be standalone food stands and I would easily give them 5 stars for the quality and value. Hot food to go - this was self-serve and a large area. Most Asian grocery stores either don't have this or it's not self-serve Ready to eat refrigerated items - savory side dishes, but also dessert items (parfaits, mochi, cakes, pastries) A soup/congee station I think I could wander this store for hours snacking on things and finding products I've never seen before. The footprint of this store is massive, which allows them to carry more SKUs than typical stores. All of the ready to eat or made to order items gives you lots of options to eat at the store or have a quick meal at home with little to no prep. The store is extremely clean, everything is nicely labeled, and check-out is a breeze with a ton of cashiers as well as self-checkout. If you want to completely ruin your expectations for future Chinese grocery stores, visit T&T! Brendan's Rating: 5.0 Charlotte's Rating: 4.5 Shanying's Rating: 4.0 Winston's Rating: 5.0

That said, after today's visit, I stand corrected. The exterior is run down and the lighting inside is depressing, but the place is clean, the staff is nice and the pricing is competitive. If this place had a robust meat selection, I think they could give Uwajimaya a run. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but the dry spices and vegetables were exactly what I was after. I didn't see cabbage or celery, but the selection was still more diverse than any other store I've visited. My singular knock was the two guys stocking the store. Both were kind and polite, but they also had radios blasting music. I'm sensitive to sound, so it made it hard for me to focus and I'm sure a couple items I was after I missed, because I couldn't stay in the area where they were stocking merch. Bulk spices tend to last, so it may be a minute before I find my way back here. That said, this will be my go to spice store.

Worth checking out, especially if you are in need of some lesser known or harder to find ethnic items for cooking. Gigantic selection of South Asian staples, in particular. The size of the selection is honestly astounding. Also some very original, for this area, items such as Afghani bread. Very cool. On the con side, it's a bit ramshackle and untidy or run down in appearance. Very popular, tho.

TLDR: Best tacos in WA! If you want good food, make a trip here!…read more We've been coming to MI Mercado for about 4 years already. At the beginning we didn't know the name of this place, or why this grocery store served tacos. But all I know is - thank goodness my husband likes to try random food, because he discovered the best tacos in WA! Every single type of meat we've tried here has been mindblowingly good. Like, life changing. And I really don't say this often. I always thought pollo (chicken) tacos tend to be dryer/blander, but Armando's pollo is fantastic. But wait - the asada, pastor, carnitas, chorizo... Oh my gosh, everything has SO MUCH FLAVOUR and stays JUICY! Ok let me break it down for you: - smoked pork chop in a taco: we were like "what? it barely fits in the tortilla" but next second "oh man this is the best!" I think this is called chuleta? - carnitas: I've never had any other carnitas with so much texture and flavour. There's a mix of pork with skin? And soft gooey bits of pork? Yum, one of my favorites! - asada: it's always my safe option when unsure. This asada is just levels above all other competition in terms of flavour though. - pastor: this is only on Sat & Sun. The pastor is on a rotisserie thing. Also one of my faves! - everything else is amazing too. I'm getting tired of typing on my phone so I'll leave the rest for you to try FYI their meat selection each day varies I do want to point out that you might think the tacos are pricey (I think it's like $4 each). But the portions are really generous! At normal taco trucks, I'd eat 4 tacos for a meal. Here, I'd be full with 2 tacos, but then continue to eat 2 more because I always want to order every single kind of meat they have available that day, and end up way too full their quesadillas are gigantic too, check out my photos from this morning! Apart from Armando's tacos/quesadillas, we just found out today there's a lady in the store who serves El Salvadoran food. We're gonna come back and try her pupusas next time I've been hesitant to post about this place, because if they get too popular, we might have to wait :( but finally, after chatting with Armando today, I think it's better to spread the word and get them more business, because they truly deserve it! PS: We've never bumped into any other English-speaking customer lol, I think that shows how authentic they are. If you go, tell Armando that Ben&Monica sent you

I found this gem recently when I was craving some pan dulce "sweet bread"…read more This location deserves more stars for their bread because honestly it's the most fresh sweet bread that I have been able to find in a long time. I have been back maybe 3 times total and the bread could never last long enough "the short drive home" to get a good picture so this time I kept it together and managed to take a picture before it got devoured. I love how close it is to my home, which is why I keep returning. Also the checkout gals are always so nice so it makes the whole experience better. I will say that the location is in a busy little shopping center and parking up close can be hard to find during busy times as it is next to restaurants but there is plenty of parking in the lot all together. With that being said if you want to have more bread selection to choose from I suggest you go before 7pm ish or so today I went at 7:45pm and they still had a great selection surprising for a Friday night because on another night I came around 8:00 and there were maybe 4 different breads to choose from but they were all still fresh and good. Anyways if anyone loves sweet bread as much as my fiance and I do and you live in renton I reccomend this place.

And the tortillas are just OK as well. I ordered a dish that the server recommended, which was the Chili Verde. It didn't taste very fresh, so I'm assuming they may not have made it that day. Same with the chips and tortillas. I understand that it's hard to keep everything fresh but as a customer, I'm not sure I'd return since I've had better Mexican food close by. The good thing is that the price was reasonable, especially the lunch specials. However, I'm not likely to return due to the mediocre food.

Lots of dining options and affordable prices in the food court area. Deli foods are some of the best I've seen inside a gigantic Japanese grocery store with lots of space and aisles to walk around. Everything you need can be found here in one stop. Favorite section that stands out is their souvenirs & gifts aisles in back. You can find authentic Japanese gifts or shop for local Seattle souvenirs and other items. Everything was clean, new, and cute here. The Japanese folks made a very good investment here. Walkable to Chinatown restaurants and shops. Staffs are all good citizens. Cleaning lady says Hi and talk to you if you talk to her. Seattle's Chinatown district has been on a decline due to crimes/violence/vandalism since Covid til now, but Uwajimaya holds strong. They even hired own private security guards to escort criminals and troublemakers out as needed. There had been shoplifting and harassments to employees and customers from random outsiders and drug addicts or homeless folks nearby. Uwajimaya is doing everything it can to remain in business operations. Fully staffed. Good product selections. I was able to find everything I wanted throughout the shelves and bakery area is convenient. This Japanese grocery store has a lot to offer, so I hope it stays open during high inflation times. Excellent stop for tourists. If you need to use the public restrooms in dining hall food court area, you'll need to purchase something and the access code will be on your receipt. I enjoyed shopping here. Highly recommended. I'll be back for sure.
