Previously, we visited Doctors Medical Center, which was equally incompetent. They couldn't identify any obvious problems from the CT scan and advised us to follow up with our PCP. Dr. Montalvo's appointment was super quick and unproductive. He showed no sense of urgency regarding my son's condition and did do enough to address our concerns. My son was just diagnosed with major autoimmune disorder and waiting,.....If I could give a negative five-star rating, I would! He seems only suitable for treating minor cuts and colds. FYI - it's usually a waste of time to give a lot of extra information. The doctor already takes it in at a glance, given their skill level. However, when it's an emotional issue there can be the tendency to want more time for a listening ear but alas, with a shortage of doctors, they don't have time to indulge that need in this setting. As a psychotherapist I highly recommend getting therapy for extra emotional support. It's why I went into that field after being a RN - I love and value all aspects of health care. The thing to decide is what is realistic for the setting you are in.
