My husband and I stopped in for a beverage one afternoon. They have their own parking lot. The person working the bar did welcome us in. They share a space with a philly cheesesteak place. The interior smelled like old fry grease that had cooked fish. My husband wanted to stay so we got our beverages, closed out and went to sit outside. He got an IPA and was not thrilled. It seemed to have an off flavor. I got their house-made root beer. It had a cough syrup like cling to the sweet. Visted JAKs today with my wife. Ordered a sandwich from the neighboring establishment and sat down at the bar. Family of 4 to our right, a couple to our left. The family of 4 left , leaving just us and another couple. We sat there for ten minutes. No welcome, no "be right with you", no service. We got up and left. Disgraceful service JAKs. The real issue here is why are they still open ? Most likely people that haven't actually had good beer or just like the convenience of this spot . It's smells like burnt chicken oil in this place . They don't actually brew at this spot anymore . Dogs are not allowed inside anymore , people l think , liked it because they could relax w their pups and have a brew at one time . Good beer still, but the ambiance went down the drain when they moved the Cluckin' Chicken Ranch food truck from the parking lot into the side of Jaks and kicked out pet dogs from lounging with you while enjoying a beer. Now the entire place smells like a greasy chicken joint. read more

The staff at JAKs Falcon location are always pleasant and make you feel like family while you are there. The tap room is always clean and neat. The clientele are top notch individuals that make you feel safe and are not opinionated people that try to force their opinions on you. I am a frequent customer that has never been disappointed with the service not to mention the outstanding beer selection. They consistently make some of the best craft beer around. His place is one of my favorites! It's far for me so I don't go a lot, but it's just such a fun time. The ambience is warm and inviting, and they always decorate for the holidays. They have lots of things going on during the week (run club, trivia), so there's always something special to do if you want. The staff are above-and-beyond nice and helpful, and the beer itself is fantastic! My favorite ever was their pumpkin pie.... I need to go back to see if they have it this season! read more

JAKs has a great local brewery feeling, with an outstanding size facility. The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable on what they offer. I enjoy that they have guest taps and I also enjoy that the bartenders are not hesitate to recommend those and not just their own beers. They allow leashed dogs in the building which I like. It has always been decently busy when I have visited, but no matter how many customers they have, the staff has always been very fast and attentive. Went here last Friday night for the first time. We were greeted as soon as we sat at the bar. It was our first time here and we told the bartender and they explained about all of their beers. We only came here because it was near our airbnb. We were not thrilled with our beers. I got the Blonde Bombshell which was ok, but my husband ordered the IPA and it didn't smell or taste anything like an IPA. Was it the wrong pour? Was it just not a good IPA? We couldn't tell. Relax--Have a Cold One Colorado Springs Food Guy finally visited JAK's Brewing Co located at 7654 McLaughlin Rd, Peyton, CO 80831. This is casual and relaxed place where you can kick back with a cold one. The difference here is that it is a brewing company, so you can pick the beer that fits your taste. The décor is more like a lounge verses a regular bar. Shannon and Kyle were serving the beers and they could not have been nicer. They made a point to chat with each person there--making everyone comfortable. I had the Blondie with the raspberry juice fusion. It was smooth and sweet but still a little kick. JAK's has specially brewed root beer too. I came with two friends who are new to the beer world and I told them what we were looking for, what I thought they would like. I read off five beers for a flight and he wasn't even listening so I had to start over. Both the bartenders as well as the patrons were horribly disrespectful You want someone to learn about beer? Don't make fun of them. Will never return And when I said I won't be back to the bartender not only did he laugh in my face but so did the people next to me who had made fun of my friends the whole time for not knowing about beer. My girlfriend and I walked in to this brewery after leaving the barn not knowing what to expect. As we walked in at 4:00 PM and were lucky enough to find a seat open as it is open seating and first come first served. The beer was good, the waitresses were friendly and pretty fast, but I was surprised that the only food they had was popcorn for snacking. We were a bit disappointed as we were both starving as well but were informed that the food truck outside would bring an order to our table, or a papa johns the next door over in the shopping center. It was the first time eating from a food truck for my girlfriend so it was a bit more fun than it normally would have been as it was a new experience for her. I will say this upfront, I am not a beer connoisseur nor do I profess to be knowledgeable on beers. I have tried several of their beers and they are ok to me. The reason I give this place 4 stars is because they are a locally owned and operated business out here in Falcon. I live out here and we do not have much in the way of options for doing anything in the evening. We either go to Denver or the C-Springs. JAKs has been around since I arrived 3 years ago and is a staple in the community. It is for that reason they get 4 stars. Their new digs are super nice and clean but still not very big. They are growing so maybe they will grow again in another 3 years. It can get packed and it makes it difficult to find seating. But the staff is always nice, knowledgeable on beer and eager to help. They have a different food truck each day of the week (I have reviewed a few of them) and that is really what brings us in. We grab a beer and a bite from the food truck and it seems to work. When they have it, their rootbeer and cream soda are awesome! The kids love them and I have to admit, I do too. If you get lost in C-Springs and end up in Falcon, stop by. The beer is good, the food trucks are good and the atmosphere is fun. read more

When myself and friends go out to a brewery or a bar for drinks or beers, the last thing I want to see is the floor lined with dogs and the whole place overrun with kids.
