Flawless job quality! If you care about quality, if you have been researching Internet for that best 3M Ceramic tint and want that film and nothing else, and want the absolutely perfect job with no bubbles even around the windshield black dots, if you want a straight and not curved line at the top of your windshield, this is the place to go. They have plotter. You are paying good money anyways, and want it to last for years, this is hopefully an one time thing for you anyways so I'd say it is worth driving there even if you live a few hours away. As someone who had tinting done in Bellevue area and also paid top dollar for tinting there, the difference is night and day. I guess some businesses just don't have the skill and talent even if they try and seem to be nice otherwise. Well, at this place you get 100% of what you pay for - a perfect tint that you do once and the problem is taken care of. And this is small family business and Jake does all the work himself, and from the reviews I can see that they have been around for at least 6 years now, and I can tell from speaking to Jake that he is enthusiastic about the work as if this is the first year that they opened. He is a professional who likes what he does and can be proud of his work. I love that! I will be bringing all my future cars here, even if I would need to do some driving. By the way, check out their IR blocking transparent (no tint) film for the untinted areas. It works surprisingly well!!! read more

Got my car windows tinted - Great job tinting and great customer service. They stand by their work and will re-do anything that's defective.

I found Jake's through Yelp. I reached out via the app and they contacted me the next day for follow up info. I made my appointment and they even called me the day before to remind me and confirm. When I dropped off my truck they were very courteous and helpful in showing me the tinting options. The process was quick and clean. When I picked up my truck I could immediately see the difference in the window tint, it looked great! No bubbling or weird film discrepancies. Payment was easy and the pricing for tint removal and reapplication was very good. Compared with other places I had priced out in the past it was reasonable and the job was well done. Jake himself walked me out to my truck. I am very happy! I would highly recommend Jakes for any of your tinting needs. read more

I had Jake's install paint protection film on my metallic black car. They recommended the lower cost of the two options because it would look better. When was the last time a business did that for you? Service was outstanding and very professional. I'm really impressed with the finished product. Price was a great value for a name brand product. The owners are super nice and hands on. Highly recommended. read more

I took my Camaro to Jake's to get rally racing stripes added. There was a tiny section that wasn't flat to the hood. After about a week or two, I took it back and they re-ordered the stripes and re-applied them and they've been perfect ever since. There was no hassle whatsoever and I would not hesitate to recommend Jake's to anyone!! Thanks for giving my baby the perfect touch! read more

I have used Jake's for probably close to 20 years. For personal cars tinting, for business cars tinting and for making graphics/vinyl letters for our semi trucks. They have always been highly professional, the quality is the best in the Yakima valley and their pricing is some of the best too! Jake's is an asset to the Yakima area! read more

I have spent a lot of money with this place and this is the first time I've had a bad experience. Spent good money on PPF and window tinting. Everything was good except for the water spots that I can't get off my windshield. I tried getting them off myself with no luck, so I called and spoke with the owner only to get attitude and smart remarks. Never expected this from Jake. Reply to response from owner: He didn't go above and beyond. I called to talk about the issue. He said all we did was tint your windows so it couldn't have been us. I reminded him that I also did PPF and you washed the car before applying PPF. He then said well I can't see it through the phone. Then he talked about dropping off something that I could use to try and remove the hard water spots. I didn't spend $2300 to have to remove water spots myself. Smart remarks were unnecessary. A simple get it to the shop so we can handle it would have been the more professional way. read more

Made an appointment by e-mail which is always great, you'd be surprised how many businesses don't respond to emails they have listed on their website. Anyways, they had a cancellation so they asked if I could come in early, showed up early and they had our car done in about an hour, which is faster than the time we needed to finish our errands. Cost was $80 for 2 front roll-up windows on an Acura TSX, which was just slightly higher than the other 2 tint shops I got quotes from. They appear to use high quality materials and they warranty their work so I went with them. No complaints, tint looks great and they were very fast and hassle free. If I have any issues I will definitely update the review. read more

I just got my new car windows tinted here and these guys were great. They were able to fit me in the next day after I called. They explained everything very well and went over all the options with me. I dropped the car off and they called me back in a few hours to let me know it was done. Windows look great. You can hardly tell that it isn't dark glass (and not tinting on them). And the price was pretty good too. Very pleased! read more

I called the day before to make an appointment to have all the windows tinted on my BMW 330i. I was coming from Ellensburg which is about a 45 minute drive & waited for my car to be done, that being said they finished it in a little less than 2 hours & did an immaculate job. My tint came with a lifetime warranty and looks great! I definitely recommend Jakes! read more

Dealing with Jake's left a bad taste in my mouth. This review is based 100% off of their customer service. We took my wife's car in to have the window tinted. We had a few issues with the process. The car battery was dead when he went to pick up the car, the issues was resolved after having to take the car to the dealership. After getting the car home, I noticed the next day that they rear passenger door panel was falling off. I understand that stuff happens and I called Jake's to talk to them about putting the panel back on correctly. Jake himself answered the phone and I calmly explain the situation and told him that I was frustrated, that's when it all went sour. Jake started to talk to me very aggressively and tell me that those are not frustrations, (like he can tell me how to feel). He then started to insult my wife and told me that dealing with her was like talking to a child. I reminded Jake that I has talking to him with respect and not calling him names and did not appreciate the tone in his voice and that I would not let him insult my wife. After belittling me over the phone a little bit more, he said that if I brought the car in that he would "take a look" at the door panel. I am still in shock on how he spoke to me. Needless to say I looked up a video on YouTube and correctly put on the door panel by myself. I will never do business with Jake's again and will be sure to share my experience with anyone that asks about window tinting. read more

I had my car tinted at Jake's in 2007 when the car was new. 8 years later the rear window started to cloud up a bit and it was difficult to see out of. The company that manufactured the tinting material, and with whom I had the lifetime warranty had gone out of business. Jake stood behind his promise of customer satisfaction and re-tinted the rear window at no cost. They did the work while I waited and it took about an hour and a half. read more

The windows are fine but the wait time was ridiculous. I called and scheduled my appointment a week in advanced for today at 12pm. I was told on the phone it would take around an hour to finish. I showed up at 12 and was then told the wait time would be 2-3 hours. This frustrated me as I live in Ellensburg and would have to wait around but I accepted and they took my car into the shop. I decided to pass the time in a nearby restaurant, but after 3 hours and no call from them I walked back over. And after waiting in the lobby for someone to actually come out of the shop and greet me for several minutes I asked how long it would be till until the car was finished. 40 minutes was their answer. So I sat for another 40 minutes and they still weren't done. By the time my car was ready it was 4pm and they still charged me the full amount. I am very dissatisfied with the treatment and would not recommend Jake's to anyone unless they want their time wasted. read more
