Now to the food, Sabai has some great lunch specials for $12 with two favourites being the house fried rice with prawns and free range eggs and the red curry beef with snake beans and steamed rice. A big highlight with the fried rice is that they use fresh (and decent sized) prawns, which is something or a rarity these days in a good fried rice. In terms of beers the selection is small, but the essential Singha beer is present and something which should be paired with any good Thai meal. For desert a big thumbs up for the coconut ice cream, which came in a very generous serving size and with a great taste and texture. It is not that I don't like Thailand, or the food, but rather because they don't use chopsticks. When I eat Asian food I like eating it with chopsticks, but then that is just my preference. I can't remember its name but it was a curry with bamboo shoots in it and it reeked.
