Labcorp - Check In Kiosks

Labcorp

(9 reviews)

We utilized the services of Labcorp to participate in a health challenge online. The organizers of…read morethe challenge collected our fees for the lab services and we just had to present our certificates to the front desk to get the specific tests we'd paid for. The process was pretty quick and easy. We didn't schedule appointments, but rather just arrived first thing in the morning to be first at the check in Kiosk. The check in with the Kiosk worked pretty slick by just scanning my driver's license with populated the info into their system. I had to answer a couple of questions, and then take a seat. They called me up to the desk to present my certificate they quickly someone came from the back to get me. The phlebotomist checked on my identity and asked me which arm I wanted to use. You can use either as the arm rest will adjust to accommodate the opposite arm. Both visits, the care they took in drawing my blood did not leave a large bruise like I usually get at the doctor's office. It only takes a few minutes to get the blood draw done and we were on our way out to the car. The prices seemed reasonable, although we did pay through a different challenge program. We are considering using them to do further testing, to manage our health issues in the future.

On my last visit I found they had all new staff and they all were delightfull. I like to chat and the manager, along with the staff reciprocated my energy making it a good time. Great job Labcorp!

My son needed some vein care so we got it taken care of at this clinic. Their billing department is…read moreunorganized and kinda nuts. It has been a year and a half and they tried to then bill me for the 1st initial consultation that was supposed to be free. Every time I asked them what the balance was they gave me a number that was different every time and more than the initial bill was for after paying every visit and making payments for months. A year and a half later the bill changes and they can't even explain it to me. They said there are 2 bills one past due that they never billed for in a year and a half and another one that was more than they had ever billed. They don't know what they are doing. Finally I asked for an itemized statement and they couldn't provide me with one. This is nuts. I think I will stop paying them until they can send me an itemized statement that shows what we were billed for and when and all the payments that have been made since the start. On the phone today they just said I'll have to have a billing specialist call you and couldn't explain where there's this secondary bill that is "Past Due" that they had never billed us for or why they can't send me an itemized statement. Seems fishy to me. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM CLINIC. They also use treatments the most insurances will not pay for because they "are not approved effective treatments." They will make it sound like your insurance will pay but it won't for some of the treatments. BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING SCAMS.

I left a comfortable provider but through insurance I was allowed to research my own provider and took a chance on Oliva Bently. This amazing individual was honest with me (she had no idea how to treat this unique problem) LOL -but prepared me for that. This awesome doctor took time to discuss my symptoms without gaslighting or dismissing my opinion of what is happening. This kind professional suggested specialists for my problem and offered pre - authorizations for that help. When my daughter went to the same Tanner clinic they hooked her up with a professional who was thorough, understanding, and kind. Its been years since my adult daughter had someone like Megan however, after just a few visits Megan moved - Ugh- starting over soon.

Miscommunication led me to believe that her office would contact TriCare for referral. That did not happen and after I found out the X-Ray dept. would take care of that when I schedule the appointment. That happened in that way. I had my CAT Scan on 2/4/26. A longer wait than I expected, but that was du to a misunderstanding. I can deal with that. The following morning on 2/5/26 at approx 8:40 A.M. I missed a call from her nurse as I was working and not able to get to the phone. At 10:05, I returned that call. I was not surprised to hear the nurse was busy and would call me back. I waited and waited. No call. So on Feb 5 at 2:40 P.M I called again. The nurse was busy and again was told as soon as she was done with the patient she was with she would call me. Nothing. Again, no call on Feb 6. On Feb 9, I called once again. I explained to the person answering the call that this was my third time trying to get a hold of someone and my call has not been returned. She put me on hold and checked with the nurse. Busy again. This time she told me that the nurse wanted to be reminded to call me after she was done with her patient. Well, no surprise to me that I did not receive a call. I am not happy with the staff who says they need to have a reminder to call a patient back. I am that unimportant to this staff member that they have to be reminded to call me. So I wait. This is the first time dealing with this particular location. Honestly, I am having a hard time envisioning me returning here. I will wait for an appointment with my PCM at another Ogden Clinic location.
