I had been dreading finding a new salon since I moved from Nashville closer to Lebanon but Belladonna gave me the service I had been looking for. It had been over 6 months since I had a cut/color and my mangy locks were unruly with split ends and uneven color. I knew that the stylist who got me would have their work cut out for them (literally). I was paired with Makayla, a new stylist to the salon. She immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome. She had a spunky attitude and her purple hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. She dyed my hair the color I asked her to do and did a good job on my haircut as well. My total was $70 which blew my mind how inexpensive these two services were. She even saw me at 5:30 pm on a Friday evening after the other stylists had finished for the day. She was accommodating and styled my hair for me before finishing as well. Overall, very impressed by this small salon. I left feeling like a belladonna!

All I needed was a simple cut and root touch up. Cut was good, but to root touch up was definitely not. I got home and looked closer in the mirror and noticed my forehead, ears, eyebrows, and scalp all had color stains! I spent the next 30min trying to remove stains from my skin! I rubbed a Qtip on my scalp and removed excess color. I had a feeling it would be bad because when rinsing my head, she barely touched my scalp. This cost me $160 PLUS tip!! Aside from the stained skin and excess color left on scalp, I still have gray hairs showing. Obviously this salon is an expensive lesson learned for me. A one and done. Next!

I had a few decent cuts here but started to get invasive and prying comments and questions each time I went in. My hair was never quite even and it was blamed on my styling technique. Thats not true because I've styled my curly cuts for years with another stylist from another salon and it was never uneven. I was unable to find a different stylist in the interim so I stuck with her for a few cuts despite my instinct to not go back. My final visit with Tammura was more uncomfortable than usual. Of course, stylists ask you about your life. However, upon hearing news of my recent engagement, I received comments such as "Well, I hope you have plenty of savings." I received other inappropriate and judgmental comments previously and afterwards but you get the idea. I might be able to look past it for a stellar haircut but Tammura was so preoccupied with judging my personal life that she rushed through my cut and butchered my bangs beyond repair. She had previously cut them well and, after asking for the same thing this time around, she cut them to about two inches long. Thats right, my bangs one month before my wedding (which I had made her aware of from the beginning) were cut to look like Lord Farquad. They stuck straight out without the help of a flatiron and hair oil. Overall, I found her increasingly rude and careless and she does not take pride in her work. If you're picky about your cuts, use someone else.

Neither one cut their hair as instructed, (if you can't do the Haircut, you need to disclose this prior to cutting someone's hair) Then one of the girls turned to my wife and said: "well what do you want me to do, we can't glue it back", really lady, I had to bite my tongue and not lash out at this girl. As a father you want the best for your boys, and a hair cut is one of them. I love what Jenni has done for my wife and what Melissa has done for my boys but I doubt I'll allow my kids back here again... Good job girls for your lack of etiquette of hair styling and unprofessional mannerism. It's a combined coffee shop and women's salon (diving wall between the two but open doorways, so plenty of separation for any noise). They have a wide and expansive menu of coffee drinks and they also have hand-scooped ice-cream as well. The prices are a little high (~$7 for a large raspberry white mocha) but the coffee is good. The atmosphere is nice and the WiFi is good as well. They've got a few smaller tables, a sitting area with 4 comfy chairs for a good conversation and a larger picnic style table as well. I'll keep this place in mind for future excursions when I need to stop for a few for some work tasks and a cup o' joe!
