I showed Brittany what I wanted and she delivered. She can handle her scissors better than some stylists/barbers can handle clippers. When Brittany left the area it took me 3 tries to find someone who even came close to the experience and the quality Brittany gave. They were great! My personal experience with the Stylist was awful. I originally came in for a wash a cut and a style! Upon arriving I was greeted but not asked which services I would like, I figured once I got to the chair we would settle it all. I had a photo in my hand of the hair style I usually get. I was called up for my turn. I consulted the stylist as to what I wanted. She started right away. She cut my hair every where but left the left front portion of my hair completely alone. She didn't blend it, to make matters worse my right side was about 3 inches shorter than the left. At this point I was scared. She asked if I wanted layers and honestly I said no, because my hair was not matching the photo or style im used to... The final product was half Lord Farquad and significantly shorter right side... she didn't style or ask me if I wanted a style. I wanted to cry but I put on a brave face and was kind an gracious and figured I could fix it and it would be fine once I styled it. I returned to my hotel and styled my hair. It looked worse. I sat with it all day and later in the evening I called the salon to simply tell them I didn't like my hair cut. The woman on the phone seemed very understanding. There was really no problem, no one was rude. The woman whom I complained to offered to fix it herself or gave me the option to come in Friday Morning to fix the hair cut. Since it was late, and I have four kids.... I told the lady I would meet Amanda at the salon the following day, I was assured she would be there and that the hair would be fixed. The following morning I came in at the time I said I would be there. 10 a.m. The woman who cut my hair the previous day was there and checked me in. She didn't say hello. She stood at the counter tapping the tablet and demanded my number. As she checked me in she disclosed to the other stylist that Amanda was not there, and that she was NOT GOING TO FIX MY HAIR. "im not doin it" I was confused because there was never any attitude, displeasure or rudeness on my behalf. I simply just wanted my hair fixed. A male stylist came out of the back and set up his station. He called my name. I was super nervous. So was he. I bit my tongue about Amanda not being there and told the male stylist what I wanted and showed him a photo. The woman who originally styled my hair then began to berate me, in front of the customers and stylists about how she asked me if I wanted layers on the left side yesterday and how I should have told her then. I was stunned and too shy to tell her the entire hair cut was terrible and uneven. It was clearly about more than the layers... The young man who cut my hair was so nervous but did manage to blend in the left side to where I can at least style it ... but im sorry to say this is not really my style. I don't even mind walking around with a bad do, I can style it, it will grow back...I am willing to forgive the bad hair. However. No one should be treated like that. Especially a paying customer. I paid for five hair cuts last week at that establishment and I feel like I was treated poorly by the stylist who originally cut my hair. I didn't take a photo but the before style was botched. 4 inches difference on the other side. And you can still kind of see it. I get criticism is hard. However I am not to blame for a stylist skill level or lack there of. If someone presents you with a style you can not do. Do not attempt it. When I called back to tell the manager about these experiences, i was told she would call me back....She never called me. It is very clear the manager did not care. At all. Gross. I will be sharing my experience with the Corporate office.
