Our stay at the Jade Mountain hotel was interesting. We checked in around 7pm and we had to ring the doorbell to the convenience store since everything was closed. However it said that the hotel check in closed at 8pm.
A man answered the doorbell and was really friendly. He had us checked in and gave us a key. He then told us the best place to park, opened up the room for us, showed us the tv remotes, and the heater.
The room was cozy and pretty clean for the most part. The towels did look very old and worn out. I also found that the toilet was dirty even though it had one of those clean seals on it.
The hotel was right by the lake which was beautiful and they have a kids play area as well in their "courtyard". Ok now for the fun part, I stayed up until 10pm watching a movie and the people staying next to our room were extremely loud. The walls are paper thin since I could hear the conversation the lady was having on the phone.
The person next to us kept walking back and forth throughout the room until probably 2am. Then when I finally was able to go to sleep the people upstairs woke up early in the morning and I could hear their footsteps going back and forth as well. It was definitely a rough night with little sleep.
This hotel has no bed bugs and it is right off the road so it's convenient if you want to stop by somewhere to sleep. However, your quality of sleep all depends on the people around you and how much noise their making at later hours of the night. read more
