We tried this Jade Garden in spring. My wife and I ordered different combination plates they had on the menu. We both were disgusted with the fried rice mixture? It was not tasty at all and they had a red sauce they gave with meal was super sweet. We picked through our meals and ate what we could but we both left over half of our meals. The meal just did not taste that good! The owner served our meals but she seen we did not eat much of it. She sent her young daughter for payment of the meal and we declined take out boxes. The owner could have at least asked why we did finish or not want? We will avoid the restaurant! read more

Visit my sister in Edmonton, my sister orders food fthis place. The food is so so delicious and they give you a good amount for food, the lady who is the new owner is so nice. The customer service is very accommodating ，however, highly recommend to you to try. will come back soon again. read more

Used to be quite bland food here in my opinion. Only went there if desperate. New people own it now and have done something differently, which is a bonus. The combo I had last week was really very good ( for a Western Chinese food) restaurant. It didn't make me feel ill or bloated so I'm guessing none or very little MSG used. It's not an authentic Chinese restaurant by any stretch but for the westernized palette it's quite good. Will go again. read more

Don't believe those bad reviews.Any time I'm coming thru Onoway that's one place I know will fill me up and Ive sent many friends family from edm and customers to jade garden. They have huge portions. The food is yummy. The owners are wonderful. Even after they sold their restaurant they come out to help cook, why one would ask? Well they love serving the public and don't think you should have to wait hr for your food. The staff are very kind and helpful + attentive. If there is something you don't like tell them and they Will take your suggestions and complaints seriously. Its a mom and pop operation and the owners like to hear what you have to say. They have both Chinese and western cuisine. I give them a 10 thumbs up. read more

This was a very pleasant surprise. A bunch of us from the lake decided to go out for supper and it was decided that Jade Garden was where we were going. Luckily one of the girls called in for a reservation. Saturday night in Onoway we really didn't think there would be a crowd. Had we not had a reservation we wouldn't have gotten in. Apparently this is THE place to go for Chinese! The menu had something for everyone and the prices were good; the food was excellent and the service as well. Ive never eaten in this restaurant. But I have gotten take out fairly often. They make some of the best chinese food Ive ever tasted. However Onoway is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and sadly the price reflects that. Its the best food option in Onoway though and is very much worth the price if you happen to be in the area. read more

This western Chinese restaurant is open for sit down dining and delivery. In town for thrift store shopping, we found this gem across the street. Very friendly people, nice small town atmosphere but it is the food that is the wow. We had the Szechuan beef, Singapore rice noodles and lemon chicken. We asked for medium spicy dishes and they delivered. The dishes were spicy and flavourful with very good portions. The beef was tender with a good spicy red sauce, it was our favourite. The lemon sauce on the chicken had a hint of lemon, it could be abit stronger. The chicken was fried well with a good portion of chicken inside. Good curry flavour on the Singapore noodles. The owner even offered us a curry noodle fish ball dish to taste (not on the menu) and it was yummy. With international travel curtailed, it is a good idea to visit and see the small towns around you. Go and experience small town life, talk to the local people, visit a shop or local eateries. Jade Garden is a gem, SO GET INTO YOUR CAR AND GO !! read more
