The garlic prawns were changed at the staff's suggestion to some jumbo ones which were skewered and filled with garlic - very tasty. The smoked chicken was very tasty too, but the star amongst the starters was the salt and pepper squid which was the nicest squid I have ever had anywhere not overcooked and rubbery, and with a subtle flavour which was complimented by the spring onions, garlic and chillies in the sauce. This was followed but a quarter of crispy duck, which too was very good. At this point we had had enough, so we didn't have a main course. I have only been once, but if my first visit is anything to go by I will return Great food and a helpful staff are waiting for you at the Szechuan Inn. The food was reasonable value, but if you want a bargain I suggest you try their Sunday fixed-price buffet.
