I traveled all the way from Sacramento and got my eyebrows done with Ley because of an instagram giveaway. Even if it wasn't a giveaway, I am convinced she is worth every dime and mile. She is consistent, gentle with her hands and has a good eye for color, symmetry, and shading. I went to her Placentia location- easy to find and plenty of parking. I am currently on week 3 of healing and most people don't even notice because it is so natural. I work as a healthcare provider and hardly ever wear makeup so it sets the tone for my mornings and allows to feel more confident and put together starting each day. Lets be real, doing your own brows is a choreee and sometimes it just doesn't look right so eliminating one step out of my makeup routine has been such a relief. I literally stare at myself in bed every morning like, I really woke up like this. Excited to see what the final results after the touch-up will look like. Ley is absolutely AMAZING. Originally I wanted micro-blading but found out that I am not a candidate for it. In my search for an alternative, I looked into micro-shading and I am so pleased with the results. Ley is great at communicating and very personable. I arrived at the salon and we spent a long time discussing the shape and color I wanted. After mapping, she was very open to my opinions and made the tail longer as I requested and darkened the areas that I had hair missing. She is very professional and clean. She wears scrubs and makes sure you know that every tool she uses is new and of high-quality. Pain is minimal and I even dozed off in the middle of my session. Every morning, I wake up to beautiful perfect brows that really frame my face. This is by far the best beauty purchase that I have ever made. It saves me time and $$$ in the end and I am 100% satisfied with the results. Helpful tips: Really carefully follow the after-care instructions because they are arguably the most important part of this whole process. Avoid water on your brows for at least 10 days. This was my first time getting my eyebrows done. I've never even gotten a tattoo before. I was worried about how painful it would be. Ley was very thorough in explaining the procedure and took her time to make my eyebrows look good. She first mapped it out to make sure I liked it before proceeding with the procedure. It took about 3 hours and the the pain wasn't that bad. It's only been a day since I have done the procedure and it looks amazing. Ley made sure I understood the after care. I came back for an annual touch up and Ley did not fail me! Not only did she beat my face to make these brows brilliant but the shop was extremely COVID conscientious. My temperature was taken as soon as I walked in and then I was asked to wash my hands. Everyone was wearing their mask (the correct way mind you) and the artists wore a face shield in addition to their mask. I was a little apprehensive to get my brows tattooed but Ley was amazing in soothing my fears and making me feel comfortable. She took her time to do everything and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. When she mapped my brows she was great at listening to the changes I wanted and making them without making me feel like an annoying client. Even after the brows were finished I asked if she could add a little bit more arch on the top of a single brow and she had no problem remapping and adding what I wanted. Just do it!!! I've always considered getting my eyebrows done and finally did. I felt nervous at first, but after our first session I completely loved that I got them done! As days went by, the color was fading a bit and I noticed small imperfections but by our touch up appointment a couple weeks later they were perfect! Ley is affordable and does a great job. Ley is so talented!!! I wish she had started sooner so I wouldn't have such messed up eyebrows from previous artists! If you are looking for someone, Ley is the one! So I had microblading done years ago by two different people and both times I didn't feel too happy with them but it was good enough. The first time the ink turned red overtime and the second artist didnt draw the shape as nice. I took about a 2 year break and finally pulled the trigger after following Ley's work for months. She might not be around for as long as other seasoned artists but her work is as if she's been doing this for years! Her pricing is available on her website and is super responsive through DM and text. She's super friendly and doesn't pressure you into anything and gives really good constructive advice and what will look good on you. If you have hesitations, just check out her IG and reach out. I feel like she's nice and will definitely answer any questions! Regarding Covid19 precautions, Ley wiped down the workstation and laid out a disposable sheet on the table. She had a mask and face shield along with gloves. I felt very safe there. She took my temperature right when i showed up and asked me to wash my hands. She never once took off her mask or asked me to and that is huge! Some places just act like they care and take off their masks later but i really felt all the right precautions were taken here. Even the other artist on the other side of the room kept hers on and it feels nice to be where people actually follow directions and care! Ley then sat down and talked to me about how and what i expected, gave me great advice on shape and color, was very professional about the whole process. This was night and day compared to my previous two artists! She then drew an outline for the shape and made sure i was okay with it and let me take as long as i wanted staring in the different mirrors around to be sure. BTW, the tattoo came out looking exactly like the outline! Unlike some artists who draw a shape but tattoo a different one! Anyways, during the process she was very careful and considerate; she would ask if I'm okay and if the numbing cream wore off. It did not feel bad, i actually feel like it's less painful than microblading. The end result was amazingggg! My husband said he has never seen my eyebrows look this good before. It's been about 2 weeks now and its healed so nicely. Private message me if you want to see photos! I dont want to post them yet since this is a correction and i havent gone to the follow up appt next month (if stay at home orders allow).
