I messed up the dates for my consult, it was actually Monday 11/29 but I came today . Luckily someone didn't show up and Dr. Anderson's staff took me in. I'm glad I shopped around. I had a consult last week with a DIFFERENT ortho in town and was quoted $5,610 for Invisalign with this vibrating "top notch accelerator" that was supposed to accelerate my treatment to 12 months. This was after the ortho looked into my mouth for a few seconds. Dr. Andersen was super professional and when he ripped open a new sterilized kit, looked at each individual tooth and started talking measurements and other dentistry things to his staff, I knew we were in business. He was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I now have an appointment in December for a four month treatment to take care of my bottom teeth and a top retainer to keep the top straight, all for about a third of the price the other ortho had quoted me. This place is great. I messed up on the date of my appointment so I was seen pretty quick, but if you have to wait a month or so to be seen here, it's definitely worth the wait.

I wrote my original review when I was still in the process of finishing my braces and now that I've finally gotten them off, I am struggling to put my thoughts to words It feels almost heartbreaking to not see them as frequently anymore as this office has truly become a place I call home. If you have ever heard of The Third Place theory, you know that home and work are the primary and secondary. For me, Fairfield Orthodontics became my third place. We failed together and we succeeded together. They saw me go through every hurdle of my young adult life. Somehow somewhere along the way, I almost forgot that I was here for braces. It became a place where I could truly trust someone without a single doubt in my mind, that they were going above and beyond for me each and every time I saw them. Nobody enjoys going to the orthodontist, but I slowly began to love seeing that warm office on that third floor. I started my treatment fresh out of high school in 2019 when I was only 18 years old. I turn 25 next week. This office has seen me finish community college, transfer to my dream school at UCLA, graduate with my degree, and finally start my big boy job in San Francisco. Even when I was nearly 500 miles away, I routinely flew home to Fairfield from Los Angeles because I refused to see any other team, but them. There is no greater team helping people achieve their dream smiles than the ones here on Oliver Rd. Take it from me, I spent my hard earned money while working in college to fly back and forth every 6-8 weeks because that's how amazing they are. They have the best network of supporting members around the community. From Dr. Jennifer Lu and Dr. Mark Sutter never once did I doubt their team. My case was not an easy one. You could almost say it was borderline impossible. Dr. Le had even consulted a second opinion, not once, not twice, but with 10 other orthodontists. They all said the same thing. "It's impossible." I had other oral surgeons say it couldn't be done. Yet, here I am, the living representation of the impossible. Fairfield Orthodontics does the impossible. How many other offices can say that? Now for the parents, teenagers, or young adults thinking: "where should I go for treatment?" There is only one answer and the millions of reasons are listed above. If you are going to spend your hard earned money anywhere, it better be with a group of people who actually have your best interest in mind. This is that place. One phrase comes to mind when trying to describe Dr. Saghafi's work: "Poetry in Motion." It's that same feeling when you get when watching Tom Brady pick apart the Falcons, Stephen Curry break down the defense, or Lewis Hamilton ripping through the tarmac. Watching someone first hand be so incredibly skilled, talented, and meticulous in their work just leaves you in awe. You are truly in the presence of someone who has honed their craft to perfection, that you trust every decision they make. Be confident in your decision. I was. I spent more years in this office than I did in high school and community college combined. And honestly, I would do it all over again. Through all the nights of self doubt, painful recovery from surgeries, nights of wires ripping my cheeks, and my teeth being so sore I refused to eat. I would do it all over again. I would fly home back and forth from LA all over again. I have no doubts in their abilities and you shouldn't either. If I had gone to those 10 other orthodontists, who knows what my smile would've looked like. I got lucky, I chose the right one with my first choice. Do yourself a favor and do the same. And to the amazing staff that are reading my review. Thank you for everything you've done for me. You've genuinely changed my life. I owe a debt to you that can never be repaid. It wasn't until I got back in my car and it was time for her to clock out that she called back. If your insurance is not exactly how the secretary thinks it should be, she will not schedule treatments. She relies on her own experience rather than insurance procedure to determine whether or not this office should treat your children or not. Hoping this is an isolated situation and not reflective of the office as a whole because what was once feelings of excitement over having a pediatric dental and orthodontic office 5 minutes from our house has turned into a front desk nightmare.

I had a mixed experience at Fairfield Dentist today. I was running behind for my cleaning, but I…read morecalled ahead and was told there was a 15-minute grace period. I arrived within that window (right around 14 minutes late) and immediately apologized to both the front desk staff and the dental hygienist. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the apology and moving forward, the hygienist repeatedly focused on my tardiness. She made comments about how it would "put a damper" on the appointment and continued to bring it up even after I had already taken accountability. The tone felt unwelcoming and, at times, unnecessarily reprimanding. Dental visits already put patients in a vulnerable position, and the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable with the person providing care. Because of this, I ultimately chose to reschedule the cleaning and step away from that interaction. That said, I did keep my 9:00 AM appointment with the dentist, and that portion of my visit was very pleasant. I was also seen by Alex Howard, who is an absolute gem--always kind, down to earth, and warm. My experiences with her have consistently been positive, which made the earlier interaction stand out even more. I understand the importance of staying on schedule, but once a patient communicates and apologizes, there's no need to continue addressing it in a way that feels excessive. A more professional and solution-oriented approach would have made all the difference. Overall, while parts of my experience were great, others left a lot to be desired.
