They are one of the few places in the area that offer this therapy and came highly recommended from our allergist so getting their perspective and expertise was really helpful in deciding whether or not to go forward with this with our daughter. My appointment went great! The office staff when you walk in and take your vitals are friendly. She gave me a couple options for what allergy test I preferred to take that day to see if I was a candidate for allergy shots. We talked through what could help lessen the severity of my allergies at home and difference between different medications/ treatments. I'm excited to go back and start my allergy shot journey with Dr. Gina and would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for an allergy doctor!!

She was leaving for vacation the week after I made the appointment, but they were able to squeeze me in for a consultation the day that I called. I spent maybe 30 minutes WITH her (not in the waiting room, not with the nurse taking my vitals, not bored sitting and waiting in the patient room!) talking about my last 8 weeks, and the couple weeks prior to that. She diagnosed my hives to have been a result from a new drug I was on (spironolactone). She was so CARING and genuinely cared about my recovery. She wasn't pushing me to get out the door. Dr. Rohatgi told me I had a delayed drug allergy, which could take at least 6 months to leave my system. Absolutely Do Not Recommend - Disorganized, Unprofessional, and Disrespectful…read more I cannot overstate how disappointing and frustrating my experience has been with Dr. Sekhsaria and Family ENT. From start to finish, this practice has shown a complete lack of respect for my time, money, and trust. I first saw Dr. Sekhsaria on March 18, 2024, for a rhinitis issue. Because I was still within the one-year healing window from an unrelated rhinoplasty, I was told I'd need to wait until July 2024 for surgery to address the rhinitus. I was assured the office would begin working with my insurance for preapproval and would contact me to schedule. At that March appointment--which lasted less than 10 minutes--my nose was scoped without any numbing spray or lubricant. Three months later, I received a bill for $238.86 for this brief and unpleasant visit. When I contacted the office in June 2024 about both the charge and surgery scheduling, I was told nothing could be done about the bill and that someone would be in touch. No one contacted me until January 24, 2025. I responded promptly on January 27 and followed up again on January 29 when I got no reply. Silence. Not until May 23--nearly four months later--did I finally hear back. The excuse? My emails went to their "junk folder." That folder typically auto-deletes every 30 days, so this explanation seemed dishonest--but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We finally scheduled surgery for June 6, 2025, and I sent my updated insurance information. Then, on June 2, I received a call saying I had to come in that week to complete an insurance-mandated appointment. So I rearranged my schedule (and work) and made an appointment at 1:00 p.m. on June 4. I arrived early at 12:50 p.m. and waited... until 1:30 p.m., when Dr. Sekhsaria finally walked in--clearly returning from lunch, holding a paper bag and a Coke. Over 30 minutes late. That is not just disorganized; it's disrespectful and unprofessional. Again, my nose was scoped without any anesthetic or lubricant. I was told insurance still hadn't approved the surgery, but that I'd be contacted the next day (Thursday) with an update. Thursday came and went. All I received was an automated reminder for the surgery. I called and was told they'd update me on Friday morning--the day of the surgery. Friday morning, I missed a call and received a vague voicemail at 9:38 a.m. from someone named Carla. I called back at 9:46 and asked for Carla, I was told she was unavailable and no update was ready. I called again at 11:48 and was placed on hold for ten minutes. That was the last straw. I hung up and called back to cancel everything. After canceling, I received repeated calls from Family ENT at 12:04 p.m., 12:24 p.m., and 1:55 p.m.--suddenly very eager, once I had cancelled. For context: I am a practicing attorney. I understand what it takes to run a professional office, and this is not it. The red flags were abundant--poor communication, sloppy administration, lack of follow-through, billing issues, unprofessionalism from the physician himself. And I fully expect another several-hundred-dollar bill for the five-minute insurance "approval" appointment on June 4. Save yourself the frustration. Dr. Sekhsaria and Family ENT have absolutely no regard for your time, your money, or your trust.

His bad bedside manner is unbelievable. Not only that, he sent the wrong RX at CVS. The pharmacist had to call the office to get the right medication. I never heard of a doctor making a mistake on RX, have you? I went to see the doctor 2nd week of November and I received a text message to view my bill on Thanksgiving's Day. Who wants to see a bill on a holiday. That's very inappropriate!!! Today at 2:30pm on December 30th, I went to pay the bill in cash. The sign said re-opening on December 30th. There was not a soul at the whole place. I yelled "HELLO" several times. That was STUPID to leave the place unlocked. How inconvenient to drive all the way to the office and not being able to pay the bill. I refused to pay online. I'm going to have to wait until next week to pay the bill since it's a holiday week. I should be charging them for my gas.

He did not disappoint. During the initial tests and conversations, he actually took me seriously when I discussed my symptoms and problems, and then he prescribed me a combination of medications for maintenance of my allergies that worked much better than any other I had taken. He even scheduled follow-up visits, checked in with me, and talked my options through with me when the maintenance drugs just weren't doing quite enough. We decided that, under my current circumstances, doing allergy shots might be best. I have been receiving them for a few months now, have had no complications or problems, and am actually beginning to notice some differences in my health. His hours for administering allergy shots are excellent for people who work, too. He has three locations, but I have only been to the Rockville and Chevy Chase offices. The Rockville office is actually shared with an OB/GYN practice, but it's still very comfortable (nice big couches to sit and read while you're waiting for him to check your shots). He has a great personality, too, and we have definitely had many a pleasant conversation during my many, many visits to his office. In short, he is truly a great doctor, and I would recommend him to anyone trying to overcome their debilitating allergies and asthma problems.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Laura Ispas at the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology…read moreInstitute in Leesburg, Virginia. From start to finish, the level of unprofessionalism, disorganization, and outright hostility was beyond anything I have ever encountered in a medical setting. First, the front desk lost my referral. I later received an unexpected text about a $250 deductible, which I do not have to pay under my insurance plan. In an attempt to understand this text I called the front desk where they proceeded to hang up on me three times. Red flag after red flag. When I arrived for my daughter's allergy testing, we were forced to wait over an hour. When she finally came in, instead of focusing on my daughter's allergy concerns, she immediately wanted to discuss the complaints I had about her office. Mind you, by this point, I had already been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. She outright refused to see my child unless I first told her how she could improve her business practices. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I insisted that the medical appointment be focused on my daughter and her needs. However, the doctor disagreed and continued to argue. Then, she actually refused to see my child, so I decided to collect my daughter's paperwork and that's when things escalated from her end. This is where my 15 years old daughter decided to intervene. My daughter told her how unprofessional she was behaving. Instead of regaining her composure, Dr. Ispas started yelling at my daughter too. At that point, I had to tell her to breathe and stop interrupting. I gave her two clear options: 1. Test my daughter, and afterward, I'd privately explain the issues I had with her office. 2. Refuse to see my child, and I would leave an honest review online. She made her choice. Upon exiting the lobby of her office Dr. Ispas started following us out into the hallway as she continued to yell. My daughter actually shut the door to her office upon exiting, but that didn't stop her--she opened it right back up and followed us down the hallway to the exit, only stopping when she realized my daughter was recording the entire thing. This experience was beyond unprofessional--it was downright hostile. No patient, especially a child, should ever be treated this way. If you are considering this office, run in the opposite direction. There are plenty of other allergy specialists in the area who actually respect their patients and their time.
