At our first meeting, he introduced himself with his first name and a handshake. He reviewed the X-rays with me and answered all questions I had thoroughly. I needed no work, except a cleaning, which Dr. Settecase did himself. The dental hygienist was busy, so rather than have me wait he did my cleaning. I was very impressed by this and with the care he took while doing it. Other dentists have wanted to pull out old cavities and put in crowns as 'preventative measures', Dr. Settecase doesn't believe in 'fixing ' things unnecessarily. This is the most important reason I will be returning to see Dr. Settecase. I was equally impressed with the staff, they were welcoming and each person I encountered seemed to do their job impeccably. Oh and he takes my insurance, bonus!

This is one of those Yelp reviews that you're always reluctant to write, because shining a deserved spotlight just might extend my wait or take away from my "secret"....however, dental care this good is really just wrong to hoard it. Check him out.

Everyone in the office is extremely professional, pleasant and do their utmost to make your visit…read morecomfortable. There is never a long wait. My most recent visit was 09/06/22. I needed a tooth removed. This was my first visit with Dr. Ariel Steinberger, at Quentin Smile. He listened to my concerns and took great care to make me comfortable. He applied a topical anesthetic, before injecting the Novocaine. He did not rush to extract the tooth. He checked that I was numb. I can not praise Dr. Ariel Steinberger enough, he is amazing ! I have had several teeth removed. But this was the first time I had a tooth extracted and after the Novocaine wore off I had no pain ! Very little discomfort, I didn't even have to take Tylenol ! Oksanna, who assisted Dr. Ariel Steinberger, was fantastic ! She went over the necessary care after the extraction. My next appointment was 09/13/22. Oksanna was there to great me and walk me back to a room. Dr. Ariel Steinberger checked my mouth and said everything was healing fine. I can not thank everyone at Quentin Smile enough. I do not have dental insurance, I pay "out of pocket" I believe they are worth what they charge.

I am interested in getting Invisalign and I already had braces before. This office is close to my…read moreapartment. I called to ask if they offer free consultations and they said no. I would have to pay $250 to take molds and x-rays before I can be told a price for Invisalign. The woman on the phone realized I was surprised by the cost and tried justifying the cost. I feel like if you feel need to justify the cost than maybe you know that it's out of the ordinary. I went to 6 other dentists (including a few in the area) that was able to schedule a free consultation providing the total cost and the timeframe. I wanted to get an estimated cost to determine where to go to get them done. I feel like when they charge $250 consultation fee this will deter cost conscious patients and most people once, they pay that fee will feel obligated to get their work done here since they already paid $250. I also feel like this would be the type of dentist that would nickle and dime you for everything since they are charging a fee to give a basic estimate of cost. I understand that the doctor is doing work and they shouldn't work for free. However, I went to two other dentist in the area (in the same 1-mile radius) that took 15 minutes and they either provided a full cost (and they did the x-rays for free) or gave an estimate cost with a basic look in my mouth and that took less than 5 minutes.

One of my pet peeves is making an appointment for anything and still having to wait. I've had a few appointments with Dr. Lyalin, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. His receptionist is a lovely woman who always calls me to remind me of my appointments. She greets me with a smile and great conversation. She's never in a bad mood. Dr. Lyalin himself also greets me in a pleasant manner. He also gives me small talk during each of my visits. He explains my progress to me, and I've been aware of everything that has been going on during my treatment. I am thoroughly pleased with the progress of my teeth. So far everything that Dr. Lyalin has told me to expect, has happened. He has been patient with me, and explained anything that I didn't understand. I'm satisfied, and I would recommend him and his practice to anyone interested in cosmetically fixing their teeth. I am 100 percent satisfied, and my braces will be off in two weeks.

Pretty crazy receptionist…read more Called to find out if they were in network and very pushy, old woman answered (who we knew would probably be a pain in the ass based on Dr. RMs google reviews, but we said whatever we'll see for ourselves). She couldn't tell us but said she would find out and call us back, we said thank you. She was kinda pushy, but nothing I couldn't deal with. Through my life i've usually been able to reasonably deal with old temperamental people. When she got back in touch with us (after we missed her calls, which was appreciated, hence the two stars instead of one) she immediately starting asking us when we wanted to schedule our appointments. However I still did not know if we were in network or not. So I had to repeatedly ask her how much we would have to pay with our insurance, if we were in network or not, until she finally answered and said: "NooOoO, IM PRETTY SHA I TOLD YA DAT FROM DA BEGININ!" (No..she did not.) Anyway, i brushed it off said: "Okay, well i'm sorry but I don't think i'll be making an appointment because you're not in network. Thank you for your help though" As any sane person that pays for dental insurance would do. Why would I NOT take advantage of my dental insurance and pay extra if I don't have to? Lol. This is when she basically began trying to infer I was a cheap ass for staying in-network stating, word for word: "WHAT YOU DON WANNA HAVE TO PAY NUTTIN NEVA???" At that point, in disbelief, i firmly said thank you again, but we just don't think we'll be moving forward with you. While explaining this she began repeatedly talking over me, louder, saying: *"WHAT KINDA WERK DUH YA WANNA GET DONE?? To which I began repeating *"Thank you but we just don't think we'll be making an appointment as you're not in-network" While being cut-off, louder, every-time with: *"WHAT KINDA WERK DUH YA WANNA GET DONE??" This bizarrely, went on for about 15-20 seconds at which point I promptly for the first time in my life hung up on a business/person; knowing there was no amount of reason I could interject into this conversation, that would lead this call to a normal, let alone professional conclusion. What a surreal experience. I don't think the old woman is a bad person, but my god she surely just doesn't have people skills, I don't know wether it's an age thing, a generational thing or what. But Grams has gotta simmer down a bit.
