We just purchased our 4th vehicle from Jacksonville Kia, and that alone should tell you everything you need to know. Duncan continues to be the reason we come back. No games, no pressure, no bull... just straight answers, strong communication, and someone who actually cares about building a long-term relationship instead of chasing a one-time sale. Nick in finance was the same way. Efficient, transparent, and respectful of our time. The entire process was smooth, professional, and exactly how buying a vehicle should feel. If I had one minor piece of feedback, I'd love to see some more attention to detail in the cleaning and detailing of brand-new vehicles, inside and out before turning them over to the new owners. When you're buying new, that final presentation touch matters. Overall though? We'll be back again. Duncan has earned our business long term. If you're shopping, tell him Zimm sent you. read more

sold a car with engine problems, lack of commutation, lack of dignity. Chris Vance the service department manger is rude, sneaky, a liar and will tell you he no longer has to answer your questions or concerns. read more

For Cody. so polite and kind. Needed a new battery for my key fob and he put it in right away. Thank you for being so sweet.

Hated to give them even one star. My daughter bought a car there two months ago. They haven't answered a single call from her since. All because she didn't give Kirk an excellent review so he could get his 30%! He's a lousy salesman. I could write a book about this guy! read more

Took my car into the service department thinking I'd get an actual diagnosis... big mistake. They have ZERO ability in properly diagnosing transmission issues. Instead of doing any real troubleshooting, they jump straight to "you need a whole new transmission." What really got me is they kept my car for a couple hours, charged me for "diagnostics," and all I got was them telling me the code is coming from the transmission... which I already knew before I even walked in. No deeper explanation, no effort to pinpoint the actual problem -- just a lazy, expensive guess. Save your time and money, because you're basically paying them to tell you what your code reader already did. Really disappointing experience. read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!! Service advisors were asleep in class when customer service was taught. A simple warranty repair for my vehicle is all I wanted. What I got was incredibly RUDE advisors. Failures on their part on so many counts from scheduling an appointment to even being rudely and uncaring scolded for not purchasing my vehicle from them. I left this place disgusted and sought out another dealership to repair my vehicle. The gentleman, and I use that word loosely, needs to learn customer service or find a new non public-facing line of work. Capital has outstanding customer service at other locations but not in JVille NC. With the competition being as high as it is for new and used cars and service, I would imagine a dealership would be pleasant to new customers in order to earn their business. This location however seems to not want business. Take my advice, save the aggregation..... Go somewhere else! read more

The dealership was very helpful with my purchase today, especially Kirk Ray - the salesman who helped make the sale happen.

had a very comfo experience had a very good sales woman named hai she really knows how to do her job when it comes to sales

One of the salesmen couldn't have been less interested in assisting me look at a used car. So condescending, chatted to my husband as if he was the buyer (I was), and didn't take me serious with my offer. Not to mention, the car was genuinely filthy ... picture previous owners food and used tissues filthy... not an exaggeration. Even if they called me to match my offer, they lost my business because of my experience. read more

Went and traded today. I will say that this place was quick and on point and worked us a pretty decent deal. Drove away with a pretty loaded 2023 Sportage that was at a great price. Now, the fishing gear, I had to ensure my longest pole would fit. It did obviously. Now I'll say this, Jasmin, our sales woman, was friendly, funny, understanding, and patient. She alone made my purchase 100% worth the visit. read more

I was just told by a salesperson there is a market adjustment of $10,000 for a 2022 Telluride. Their own website says the max market adjustment is $7,995 so this sales person was, I feel, trying to make me buy a car for even more than what was publicly listed for a market adjusted car. I told him I would not buy a vehicle I couldn't test drive and hung up the phone. I immediately then got a call back (within seconds) saying that he "spoke with his Manager" and that not only would he "let" me test drive the car but that he would negotiate a $1,000 off MSRP because it was "the end of the month." Very shady. Who would buy a car they couldn't test drive???? I told the salesperson -- his name is Lance -- that I am extremely discomforted by both these conversations and that I feel they are not dealing fairly. read more

Jacksonville Kia - The Telluride I called about. - Car Dealers Near Me - Jacksonville, North Carolina

Terrible customer service in the service department. They "yes ma'am" you to death to rush you off the phone. I brought my car in about 3 months ago for an oil change/multi point inspection. $160 for the service. They didn't even check the tire pressure or "top off" and fluids. I brought it back a week later because every tire had low pressure. Like 26 psi 27 psi 28 psi. I understand climate change effects the tire pressure. I wasn't born yesterday. The service guy had a VERY condescending attitude. I checked under the hood to look at the antifreeze compartment. The level is one inch BELOW the minimum line. How is this place still in business??? Number one they are lazy and can't seem to get the job done right the first time. Number two I've read such HORRIBLE reviews since Capital took over. How can y'all sleep at night knowing you're taking advantage of people??? read more

Bought my car brand new one of the selling points was a free oil change because of my military service. Scheduled and had my first oil changed. They wanted to charge me $150 and didn't tell me they were gonna do anything but changed the oil. They waived $150. Second oil change they wanted to charge me $300. And said I couldn't get my free oil change unless I paid the $300 fee for changing my air filter and other things that didn't need to be done to the vehicle these people Are deceptive. The oil change is not free. Obviously cost me $300 to get it done. read more

My sunroof got stuck open randomly on my 2022 telluride one evening. I showed up unannounced at this dealership hoping they'd be able to help me. Chris took care of me right away. Even tho I didn't have an appointment they got my car in, did the recall services that my car needed (they didn't have to do this and I didn't ask them to, I was willing to wait for that). They applied a tape to try to protect the inside of my car against the rain while they placed the order for parts. They got me into a rental next day (due to enterprise not having availability until the following day). They had my car for less than a week. Just got it back and it appears my sunroof is working as it should. My only reason for 4/5 stars is because my car has ants in it. I haven't found where they're coming from. And I'm not saying it's their fault... just very possible that they got in there while my car was at their center waiting to be and while being fixed. I get this isn't fully their fault. But I know my car didn't have ants in it prior and it's just a nuisance that I have to deal with now. They also sprayed something on my front window that I have to clean off. But overall I felt taken care of there and will be going back when needed. read more

The only dealership I have been to where the salesperson brags about selling vehicles 5-10k above msrp. Disgusting to see big businesses getting gov assistance during the pandemic taking advantage of citizens. The salesperson we dealt with was Jasmin. Went back again today to give Kia another chance and couldn't regret my decision more . I went in with a friend both ready to buy a brand new Kia sportage. My only regret is not writing a review the first time we bought a vehicle from Lance! He was spot on every stop of the way! Not only did we get the vehicles we wanted, in a time that is horrible to find them, we got a price that couldn't be beat by other dealers in the region. For that, I have to highly recommend not only Kia, but Lance for being a great customer oriented individual! read more

From day one they tried to be dishonest with me. They added a 1,500 dollar mag warrenty that I did not want. I made them redo all the paper work. Then everytime I carried it in for service they would damage something. Not sure if any of it was intentional or are they incompetent. They were very condescending and rude. The last time I carried the car in for an oil change the day after I checked my oil and it was 2 quarts low. I immediately called Kenneth at the service department and he said I must not be checking it correctly. Well I have over 40 years experience in the automotive industry. I think I know how to check my oil. I went to the parts store and bought 2 quarts of mobil one for 20 dollars. Then after driving for about 70 miles I checked it again and there was no oil on the dip stick. I called Kia Roadside Assistance to have this new car towed and that went smoothly. After the car arrived to the dealership I called and told service it had gone through 5 quarts of oil in 169 miles. They told me I would have to pay for any repairs. I lost it and told them I was not paying for anything and they would fix it because it was their fault! This car has 12,000 miles on it. After they checked the car out it was their fault. When they changed the oil they did not put the oil filter housing back together correctly. They can't even change oil at this dealership without messing up. I have learned my lesson and will never deal with them ever again. I will preform my own maintenance from now on, but I feel bad for other customers that will be took advantage of by these immoral individuals. When I picked up my car they did not have the integrity to face me and hid in their offices like frightened animals which they are. They had a very sweet lady do their dirty work, but to scare me they had some big dude that I had never seen before sitting near by. I was very polite, but did tell them all this drama could have been avoided if they would have listened to me when I called and told them the car was 2 quarts low. read more

SERVICE MEMBERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The sales team is clearly experienced in taking advantage of junior enlisted who lack of car buying knowledge. Kirk was especially rude, inattentive, and a straight up liar. I was quoted $6k for my trade in and then four days later, it dropped down to $2k. He tried to cover up his shady pricing by saying I was looking at a more expensive car (false, I was actually looking at a cheaper car originally), then said I came at the end of the month (false, I first visited on the 4th), then tried to gaslight me by saying my car is actually only worth $500 but they were doing me a favor by giving me $2k (KBB quoted my car at $6.5k). They also marked up the car an extra $8k from MSRP without giving an explanation of why or what's included, their only reason for the up charge was "it's the only model we have in stock". The sales team seemed very uninterested in trying to sell me a car, I felt like I had to convince myself. All in all, absolutely horrendous experience, take your business literally anywhere else. read more

Talked to a salesperson because we wanted to trade in our lease. The salesman outright lied to us just to get us in the door, then was brash and made us feel like garbage because we refused to make a deal based on the false pretenses he brought us in on. We decided to keep our lease.. Fast forward a year and a half and our lease is up. We come in to buyout our lease and talk to the finance manager. He basically just tells us to go to our bank and tries to dismiss us. I appreciate his honesty, but I have questions. I asked them but felt I was annoying him, I ask for the price of our buyout so I know what to get a loan for at our bank. He prints out a piece of paper and we go on our way to our credit union and get our loan. Fast forward a few days and turns out he gave us the dealer buyout price, not our price. So we now owe an additional large sum of money after we've already taken our loan out. Furious is an understatement. I was angry with the first experience, but both experiences combined I will never set foot in this dealership after I go in tomorrow and let the general manager know what happened. BEWARE! read more

I took my optima into these guys for a no power issue, they diagnosed it as the turbo waste gate and so I had then replace it and that costed me $1100. That didn't fix the problem so they next said it was the turbo that needed replaced which would have done away with their new wastegate they just put in. They wanted $2800 for the turbo and $1300 for labor and wouldn't help out with the cost of the first wastegate. I do not recommend this dealership at all, they charge through the roof and do not help at all with labor or parts when they misdiagnose the car. read more

I stated that I had to get back to work because I was on my lunch break. I had to cancel everything and drive my vehicle back to work, unserviced. Recently moved to the area and initially came for check engine light. They repaired the problem quickly and it was covered by warranty. Incredibly rude and unprofessional experience with the sales team at Stevenson Kia of Jacksonville. Right off the bat the sale person had an attitude and acted as though the dealership was too good for me. Boasted about their vehicles selling well above market value and treated me as a lesser individual than themselves. I called about a new Kia Soul that was in stock on the website for $20,500 and after speaking with them a couple of times and explaining I would be driving over 1.5 hours to look at it - they finally told the the price would be $25k due to the pandemic?! After telling them I was willing to pay what was listed on website - they were firm. They said all dealerships were increasing prices. Not True - Subaru is keeping prices for now, it may change after this review. So I checked into our local Subaru and ordered a new Crosstrek for $27k with a few added features so the base price was about the same AND it comes with a LIFETIME powertrain warranty and Consumer Reports rates 2022 Subaru Crosstrek (86 compared to 51 for Kia Soul overall) a lot better than the 2022 Kia Soul. We were so pleased with Parkway Subaru in Wilmington, we ordered a 2022 Subaru Forrester too. So THANK YOU for your misrepresenting price on website and GOUGING the price due to pandemic. I am so glad I decided on Subaru. I hope this honest review helps others to make an informed decision. read more

Ive been dreading the day that I wanted to get newer vehicles. I went on ussa car buying service and found one here that I liked. So I came in and was introduced to Tina. Really glad I met her as she made my car buying experience very painless. She wasnt pushy or trying to upsale me. She was very patient ad asked the right questions and kept us on what I wanted not what she wanted to push. The experience was so great that I came in the very next week and got a second vehicle. I had the chance to go anywhere else and normally I would have just to look around. But I felt confident that I wouldnt be taken advantage of or felt tricked or trapped into buying something I didnt want. This dealership has really improved my view of how car salesmen conduct business. After this dealership offered $7, 000 more for my trade-in than any other dealership in town, I knew this is where I was going to buy my first new car. Before the trade-in value, the paperwork showed that I was going to spend about $600 less than what the third-party websites show I should spend for this new vehicle. These guys are no-nonsense. They really work with you to make the sale. They appreciate any potential buyers who come in knowing which questions to ask and how to ask them. During the winter car sales slow down, so use this time to make a deal with them. Please share your experience with me. You may list me as a reference if you like. Please let me know ahead of time.
