This Jackson's Car Wash used to be a Danny's Car Wash way back when, but when Jackson's took over, the customer service seemed to change almost overnight along with the promotions changing. Also, I recalled having sales people trying to make money off you using insurance to repair your windshield (when you simply wanted a carwash). The service has always been hit or miss depending on the day, time, and how busy it was. Sometimes, you could be the next car right from the start, and other times, there was a long wait. You used to have have someone drive your car through the car wash while you waited in the waiting area inside (where you can buy a snack or do a bit of shopping) or an area outside. Now, you have to drive your own car through the car wash and then if you paid extra, you can turn the car to the left to have someone do some extra work cleaning it. If you only paid for an express car wash, you turn to the right and can vacuum your car on your own. I'm not sure if you can even go inside anymore. On a positive note, SOMETIMES (definitely not always), you get a coupon and air freshener and an invitation to do a spot check and provide them feedback if something still needs to be cleaned up. They did this for my wife's car last week but not for me this week. I also noticed several stations for tips to be made whether you want to pay more at the start, leave a cash tip right after the car wash, or give a tip at the end after any extra work is done. The good news is that any tip is shared with everyone. Every time I have been at a car wash over the years, I have had to point out something that was missed, though often, they do a good job as a start. There is a Jackson's Car Wash app with rewards when you spend enough on a car wash. Yelp has coupons available, and so does the Jackson's website (https://jacksonswash.com). There are also text club rewards, mystery shopping opportunities, and unlimited wash plans. Some of the specials include Buy One Get One Free Mondays, $5 Tuesday & Wednesday Express Car Washes, and 1/2 Off Full Service Washes on Wednesdays. They also send out a free car wash for your birthday (valued at $20) if you sign up for their e-mail list. I also just learned that they support the community with lifetime discounts including discounts for seniors, early birds, military, students, and teachers. When my wife got a car wash last week, they let me come back for a half price car wash this week. Also, if it's raining, there's the 72 hour clean car guarantee where you can come back for a free exterior wash. While the deals are actually pretty great, the service and experience are hit or miss. I certainly think that Jackson's has improved but still has a long way to go to get to what I thought of its predecessor Danny's. I will still plan on checking back there and giving a car wash a try every now and then to see if it is getting better. read more

Eh! I'm not impressed. I have been unhappy with Cobblestone for quite some time. I decided to give Jackson's a whirl. I explained to them why I was there, and they suggested that I do a trial month. So I signed up. Great. Week 1: The car looked good. I'm not too fond of having to drive through the wash, and there are no rags or shammy near the self-serve vacuums, but I would say four stars. Week 2: terrible job! Water spots all over my car. The rims look awful. So, two stars! I will balance it with three stars, but I won't be back. At least at Cobblestone, I can clean up missed spots and vacuum the car again in the self-care area. Oh, and at Cobblestone, they have misters to sit under to wait or nice chairs inside in the AC. read more

This place used to be a terrific location to pull in and take your car through for a thorough wash on the outside. And if you had the time for a full service wash, they do a nice job. Now they've changed their program and you can only pull through and get a quick car wash if you're a member. Otherwise you're stuck in a long line of people waiting to talk to somebody who gives you a hard sales pitch. While the folks working there were nice the entire process to have my car detailed for $99.99 left me confused and feeling like I was in an airport queue! Never again! For that price I expect to wait in a waiting area not out with the cars (can you imagine summer in Phoenix outside), having to drive my car through the automated system (again for $99.99 I would have thought at least an attempt at hand washing for some parts of the car) and NO really able to explain the next steps up front. read more

Expensive and crummy wash. no menu to whatsoever to choose from the guy just tells you each of your Expensive options. The prices are not posted anywhere. The wash is about as short as they can be like they have at a gas station drive-through. Used to get my car washed all the time and it was nice - now absolutely terrible and expensive as well.. they do not do a good job and take no pride anymore. Huge gas station with an adjoining car wash. Nice and clean. Area to check the air in your tires - have to pay. It accepts credit cards. Went in to get some water for our road trip. One cash register was down so the line was long. They did apologize which was nice. Service was not great. She was nice to the Hispanic workers checking out but was put out by me asking for a receipt and didn't smile, greet or thank me. read more

Place has gone downhill since they made this a drive thru. - wondering if it is it circling the drain. No inside help. Men in the back kept calling me "bro" or "dude". I'm much older than 30 - I'm not a "bro" & far from a "dude", & I am "with it ". And they have no idea how to clean a window. In my past few visits I've asked for clean towels or rags to avoid smears. Once the car is driving into the sun or at night the windshield smears are so bad I'm an accident waiting to happen. Been a customer since the place opened as Weiss Guys(?), then Danny's, then Jackson's- Looking for another place - too bad because this is very close to home. If you like a slow inefficient car wash then this is your place. Their new Point of Sale computer system has made the car washing experience even less desirable. They also changed their full service system to one you drive through, I assume in an effort to improve the actual speed of getting your car washed. I don't think that is the outcome they are getting. I have bought their annual pass every year for about 7 years and I'd say the service and quality has gone down over the seven years. They closed their store and went cashless and next I'd expect to see them go with actual workers. It seems like a text book case of what not to do if you own and run a car wash. The car wash itself is fine. But the people and their sales pitch for a new windshield with a barely dinged windshield and oil changes and tire rotations are horrible! They will not take no for an answer. They keep pressing and pressing even after I keep saying I am NOT interested. I handle my oil changes and tire rotations else were and they just kept coming back with a better deal. They bug me every single time and won't let up. I won't be coming back here anymore. read more

I got my oil and filter changed and that was not only speedy but I didn't get that pressured feeling to buy a bunch more stuff like some garages do. Also the staff are awesome. Highly recommend. So I pull in there are no prices or services listed like there use to be. I tell the greater I want a car wash, vaccine and tires done. Shame on me for not asking what that cost. I look at my receipt and he charged me $80. I go back and question and we go round and round and he says if your not happy when you are done come see me. 40 minutes later my car is done they did not even polish the tires u til I told them they didn't do it. Wow. Felt violated. Signs says ultimate car wash 20 bucks. As you drive in. When you stop the sign Is ten feet behind you do you don't go back to read the fine print. That's a member price. This used to be a fast and efficient car wash. I was in the vacuum line for 15 mins. The dude is trying to sell me a wax and they don't even have enough people to get it thru the wash. Got VIP wash and they didn't even do the insides of the windows. This wash will take 45 mins at least! Ridiculous! I gave two monthly passes. I'll be finding a new car wash! read more

I want to like this place but they need a change in management or something. While the people who work there are kind, the expectation of how to clean a car, is just off. Maybe it is lack of pride in workmanship, or lack of adequate pay to want to do a good job, but they just do not do a thorough job of cleaning a vehicle. I always have to vacuum my car again and the wash is not complete. There is leftover debris (dog hair, etc.) on the inside and dirt on the outside and that just seems unacceptable for a car wash business. Bait and switch! Short story - yesterday I was promised an oil change and detail on my Escalade for $149. Told it was normally $250 but they would take $100 off. I couldn't but it that day - supervisor said ask for Nash tomorrow, he will honor it. I go back - Nash says yes $149 for oil change and detail. Shorter story - I go back and bill is $325. Manager tries to refute me. I stand my ground - refuse to pay. Then he does his script that includes: 1) he says, "this will cost us money, do you want to steal from us?" He was trying to trap me into saying yes and being "that" customer. When that failed... 2) he says, "you are trying to steal from us and you won't even make eye contact with me." Ok, this was so obviously a script my 17 year old son was rolling in the floor. I'm a Phd, a woman but ... I'm often told I'm the scariest person in the room. I was angry, dropping "word bombs" like nobody's business. I leaned across the counter as close as I could get and said "are you f*cking kidding me?! Who the f*ck am I looking at?! (I honestly wondered if he were tape recording and trying to trap me). So then he went to 3) your not letting me talk. When he did talk it was to tell a story that never happened. So I said i don't give a f*ck about what you have to say but why don't you explain what I told you happened. You tell me what I said? He said no - I'm not going to say what you said. I said why not - show me you understand what I said happened. He said I'm not going to do that. It went on, he was not backing down so I finally said " call the police. Im an angry, pissed off customer - call the police to throw me out and I will report what happened." Manager went outside made a call comes back inside - "we will only charge you $149. I went to Trader Joe's and ran into a friend I haven't seen in 10 years. Told her what happened. She said, "same thing happened to me except I had already given them my card and they ran it. I wasn't going to leave but the most I could get was coupons for future free stuff - but of course I'm never going back. The took over $100! They seem to prey on women and I'm fairly certain it's when an oil change is involved. They will tell you it's one price but then charge separately. The POS manager even tried to spin me by saying did you talk to one person or two? When I said I secured the price with the supervisor but discussed the type of oil with the oil change guy - the manager tried to spin it as I talked to two separate people and they each gave me a different price. No. That is not what occurred. I wonder how many other people - especially women - have had this happen? How many people just pay so they can just leave? Do they think we are so stupid that we "miss" hearing that the combined deal really wasn't combined? What the hell? read more

I think this will be my last time here. Been coming for years. I get they are busy and short handed but I had a few cars that got there after me and were through the vacuum line faster. They don't pay attention to who comes first. The people who sell could be helping out those who vacuum to make it go faster. Then you have the line of people just there for a wash. They really should have a separate car wash for them. I have been here an hour already and still waiting. Out in the area where they dry the cars there is just about 3-4 people. Again sales people should be up here helping. I realize there is inflation but prices went up as well by around $5 for each wash. You would hope with any price hike that service wouldn't go down this much and the wait wouldn't be so much longer. Last time the vacuum line took a long time too but at least they had more people by the dry area. Not worth the prices when having to wait so long. Adding this in after the fact. I realized driving home that they pushed my side mirrors in and didn't pull them back out so I couldn't use the side mirrors. If I rolled down my driver side window to push out the left mirror there would be a streak since it was just washed. Luckily I only needed to change lanes once. If your business is so high risk that you need to keep one side of the doors locked because the cashier is alone, perhaps don't have the cashier alone. It's that simple. I have used this car wash for awhile and have been marginally satisfied. They have now changed the process which is totally unfriendly and burdensome in the customer. The employees are rude and act like the customer isn't important. The wash was done poorly. I tried to talk to the manager and he was not interested in my opinion. I'm done going here. read more

Been going here for years. Was always a great car wash business. Today was terrible. Will never come back. When I pay for a $30+ full service car wash, that's what I expect. I was harassed upon arrival about my windshield and was so uncomfortable even after saying no. Then had to drive my car through the wash like a cheap $5 car wash instead of going inside the nice lobby as usual. Terrible. If I wanted a cheap $5 wash I would go to a cheap place. This is a good car wash with friendly people. But why do they have to make money by misleading people? The man at the front shows you a card with washes and their prices. The main numbers that standout showed a full service wash to be $20. When I went to pay they said it was $39! Turned out I was looking at the member price. The real price was on the card but not highlighted and as visible as the member price. Yep they got me! But is that good for their business? I feel totally ripped off. read more
