No matter how cold it is, how can you resist a scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone?! A cute mainstay business for the touristy wharf. Service by the line young person was friendly though she did not wash her hands between handling cash. Eat more ice cream!

Cute little ice cream stand. Nice assortment of flavors. I got a kid-sized scoop of chocolate peanut butter. Wow, that is a generous sized scoop (3 oz, but seemed a lot bigger). The ice cream was tasty as well. Nice afternoon treat.

Quick and friendly service. Waffle cone was solid and sea salted caramel was just what I need on this warm summer day. Definitely stop by if you are in Fisherman's Wharf and need something cool and tasty.

1 scoop with 2 flavors - coconut and mango

My husband and I were at the Fisherman's Wharf and got icecream from this place. I wanted to have 2 different flavors in 1 scoop and they were kind enough to do that for us. They had many flavors and I chose coconut and mango flavors on a cone and they both were delicious. Very nice location and reasonable prices - would definitely recommend this place.

An example of a perfect day may include a stroll on Victoria's Wharf while indulging in an Instagram-worthy heap of ice cream in your hand. I had the fortune of trying their salted caramel, and I savored every bite. Neither the caramel nor salt overpowered, and they danced perfectly together like the winners of Dancing with the Stars last season. (I don't who won, and have seen one episode ever, but I just tried to find a witty example to put here.) This experience only cost $4.25, for a single scoop in a waffle cone. Other tidbits: -Super friendly people working there. -Since it resides on the Wharf, the stall oscillates.

I bookmarked this through Yelp and I am so glad I did! Worth a stop when at Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria. Ice Cream Perfection! About a dozen flavors to choose from. I chose the Maple Walnut flavor it was perfect. Get the waffle cone for .75 cent CAD more, it is fresh, crunchy and yummy. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Perfect sweetness, creaminess and flavor. Made by Island Farms, a local company.

This ice cream shop is a gem among things in this small touristy area. After taking an extended scenic walk here and not in the mood for anything hot, this place is certainly refreshing (in reality the only place to get dessert). They have all your basic ice cream flavors with some hints of adventurous flavors too. Things are done right here where the ice cream is decently dense and flavorful. The service was friendly and definitely cheap enough for a treat.

The Danny, with chocolate peanut butter ice cream on top of chocolate soft serve

A pretty simple place to grab ice cream in one of Victoria's heavy tourist areas - there's a long line, usually, and for the most part you'll want to take your ice cream and get away, because the area is very busy. They do a fun thing called the Danny where they put a scoop of regular ice cream on top of soft serve in a cone, which is a neat idea, but it's actually just okay. The ice cream itself is decent, nothing wrong with it, but it's not great. Also, they use grocery store brand ice cream, so this isn't exactly something unique you can't try elsewhere. The soft serve is fine too. Overall though, if I'm going for ice cream I want something at least a little interesting or unique. This is a fine place for serving families and tourists, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to go back to.

Walking around downtown, we kept seeing people with soft-serve ice cream dipped in chocolate. After pointing us in the right directions, we found this lil' truck. The girl in the truck was super nice and friendly. What I swallowed: OATMEAL ICE CREAM SANDWICH: YAY that this ice cream sandwich didn't have any raisins (bleh). The sandwich itself was humongous, definitely bigger than the palm of my hand, so can easily be shared between two people. The cookie was moist and had a smooth but nice oatmeal-y texture but wasn't too tough that the coldness of the ice cream didn't freeze the oatmeal and tear up the insides of my mouth (which has happened before- not a nice feeling). The ice cream inside was nice and creamy, although I thought they could use a bit more ice cream as the ice cream to cookie ratio was a bit short but being that the cookie was oversize, I can see why they scrimped. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/QX5TNvwyP1V8a14I-LjESg?userid=2B9F15-xrqh4qgGADMo-yw#sp4uFE3y1AZaJkesLLVvqQ

Luckily we ran from the cruise port to Fisherman's Wharf. Jackson's was just closing. Soft serve machines were already shut down for the night. Staff was friendly and the ice cream delish! Husband had mint chocolate chip and I had chocolate peanut butter and maple walnut. After a week on a cruise ship with so-so ice cream, it was nice to have some that was higher caliber.

Just a low-quality over-hyped ice cream place only for tourists. We were not even able to finish it... The service was not good either.

What a great dessert complement to Red Fish Blue Fish next door! Like the one at the Fisherman's Wharf, Jackson's Ice Cream is simply delicious with its decent portion and mesmerizing creaminess. I could be wrong but it seems like you have more choices here than the other one, but either way, you can't go wrong no matter which one you pick! If you are having a hard time choosing, go for the hot fudge or the salted caramel sundae. You know what? Just get both hot fudge and salted caramel sundaes! They are so good.

The larger sizes (which pricey) are huge!! Each ice cream (ex. chocolate, vanilla) can be put in a cup, cone, or waffle cone. You can then choose the flavor it gets dipped into. Finally, you can choose if you want the extra toppings for a fee. I personally love the cookies and cream one with vanilla ice cream. Service is fast and everything is visible. It's so fun to see each ice cream get made! There are also other desserts available if you want something to go, or a souvenir. There is free water. Just grab a clean cup and pour it yourself.

Visited on a weekend night and ordered the small dipped cone with dark chocolate, raspberry sauce, and bits. I loved the contrast between the cool, creamy vanilla‑style soft serve coated in a glossy layer of intense dark chocolate that cracked with a satisfying snap. The raspberry sauce added a bright, tangy edge, cutting through sweetness rather than just echoing it. Texture‑wise, the firm shell and small toppings lent some welcome chew against the soft ice cream's smooth melt. The portion was modest (a true small), which made the roughly mid‑to‑high single‑digit price feel slightly steep but still justifiable for a treat. Service was friendly and quick at the counter. The shop's vibe leans casual and family‑friendly. Seating is limited, so this plays best as a grab‑and‑stroll dessert.
